FarmVille Gifting, Reward Bonuses & Neighbor Errors
Since at least yesterday many farmers have reported that they are unable to receive any of their free gifts, are having various issues accepting or sharing FarmVille Bonuses via Facebook newsfeed, and FarmVille neighbors are disappearing.
In a message posted via Facebook, found above the FarmVille in-game screen, Zynga’s FarmVille team made an announcement about these issues.
“8:30am PDT: The FarmVille team is currently investigating issues with gifts, feed bonuses and neighbors not appearing. Watch here for more details.”

My neighbor bar doesn’t load, that’s my only FV issue right now but I can fertilize if I visit my neighbor page and visit their farm through there.
FV needs to separate itself from Facebook already, I’m sure having so many users is causing the overload on facebook thus ruining FV.

Yeah, I do, and it is really frustrating. I can’t accept gifts and I can’t receive anything from my neighbours’ posts – no eggs, no fuel, no foals … It always says I can’t receive a reward for my own celebration
I really hope Zynga will fix it very very sooooon.

Can’t get anything from the Facebook feed. It either tells me that the items are not available or (more often) that I myself posted them! Very frustrating.

Neighbors are not appearing, instead the word Loading is there and does not go away. Cannot accept , send or receive gifts. Shortly before that i could only “Thank You” about half my neighbors. Farmville posts have stopped appearing on my Son’s profile, both his own and neighbors. (I have checked privacy settings, application settings, and hidden post settings … not blocked in any way) I am able to wish for Mansion items but I cannot send or receive them, I have lost many things that they say I receive but never make my gift box.

Several of us try to collect on the collections and get the error “sorry you can’t receive a reward for your own celebration” message. Very frustrating!

Oh yes also what Rose said. When accessing a neighbors feed post it says this reward is for your neighbors or similar errors.

I am having problems receiving gifts (trees etc) however sending them is not a problem. I have not had any problems returning the spring eggs that people have requested. I have also received the bonus egg received when the red egg is sent without problems… but I have a feeling that they are appearing back in my giftbox after I accept them (FV taking the game back to a previous time?). I am not able to claim prizes from the main wall, however I too have seen other people thanking others for their gift, so I also think this is happening to some but not all. Also, the other problem that I have is that I accepted a new neighbor several days ago and he has yet to show up in my neighbor feed.
I do not think that the problem is Facebook either. I think the problem is happening when the Farmville game programming is being meshed with the Facebook programming. This isn’t happening with any of the other Zynga games, so it must be a FV problem. If you notice, there are less problems with farmville.com, which is a platform free of FB.

Same here. Have accepted a few gifts thinking it was just a one time thing, and they have all said that it could not be found, or something of the like.
All my friends’ bonuses that I’ve attempted to collect today have said that they were mine own, and therefore I could not collect my own (fill in blank: egg, gold, foal, gas, etc)

I’ve been having problems with this all day. I had some friends post mystery eggs on the news feed and none of those worked. I tried accepting a few easter eggs from friends and none of those are working either.

Lost all gifts and collectibles. It keeps saying I cannot accept gifts I gave or a celebration for myself – even though they are form my friends. This has been happening for 24hrs now. I basically cannot play anymore until this is fixed. I lost 20+gifts this morning. I am mad.

I can’t recieve any gifts from the newsfeed…it either says I posted them or that they’re not available anymore. I also can’t recieve gifts from friends. The game says that there was an error and the information was lost. Another problem I’ve been having is that newly added neighbors aren’t showing up.

Estou há pouco tempo no facebook na Quinta Farm Ville e sou eu que nao dos meus amigos que nao vejo as fotos dos meus vizinhos. I get error messages when i click on the news feeds, friend bar never loads and its hit and miss with the free gifts one time they will work the next they dont so i just stopped collecting them till the issue is fixed i guess.

I had many problems yesterday, Today only neighbor bar wont load, and some neighbors are showing in my friend box waiting to be invited as neighbor? Someone suggested seperating from Facebook but that would not help

I seem to be one of the few (?) to get a “fun” glitch out of this problems: When one of my neighbours, who seems to be completely gone from my neighbourslist, fertilized my farm, all my plots turned fertilized (more than 300).
:)
That compensated quite a bit for the eternally loading neighbour-bar

Yup…….problems with gifts. When to claim my daughter’s windmill that she published and it told me it wasn’t available. Mostly claims are “You can’t claim your own” even when they aren’t mine. Hope it is fixed soon.

Yes i have lost all my neighbors in my list which means cant fertilize their farms,, also no list of them in the egg basket either, which means i never get to pass my neighbors and share eggs.
For 3 or 4 days now when i go to my farm the popup say friends have fertilized my farm but no publication shows up, & everytime i go back to the farm the count gets higher, it’s annoying.
Oh while i’m here maybe Farmvillefreak could find out if Zynga has any intention adding levels after 70, I’m tired sending mails to Zynga & never recieving answers, as this question amoung others was never replied too.
I would also like to thank the farmvillefreak team for all their brilliant work & information, without you guys we would be left in the dark. Thanks Mike, ( Belgium )

When I click on Friend’s eggs, bonuses, free fuel, etc., it says, “Whoa, partner! You can’t accept your own gifts!” or something to that effect. I bought a dogwood for a friend; it appeared on my farm instead. I received 7 eggs as gifts, and only 2 “took.” I’ve got enough eggs to redeem the windmill, but I’m afraid I will try it and lose it. Also, when I click on my comment box, there are empty faces, so I don’t know who has left what comment.

I am unable to tell what neighbors have visited my farm and it is showing 762 neighbors having fertilized my crops
It won’t let me publish a thank you to them. It just keeps adding to my number of visitors.
I am losing gifts between my request and gift box.
No neighbors showing.
It keeps telling me I can’t accept my own gifts when I am trying to get gifts from my neighbors.
Help us please as I love farmville, but not all these hassels.

By the way, you can still fertilize friends farms through the friends page. At least I can. I still get notifications that people need help on their farms and I can still click their names to get to their farms. Glad to at least be able to do that….

I have redeemed for mystery eggs and received ewes; redeemed for fountain and received windmill, etc.
I have had several neighbors who I can visit, fertilize, gift both ways, but am told I cannot collect rewards from my farm.
Other games have neighbors blanked out so I cannot go to their fish tank/cafe/island etc. In some cases they are on the ribbon but are not accessible.
I believe this is a Facebook problem as not all the games I play are Zynga’s.
Yesterday’s post that Zynga was having communication problems with Facebook had me thinking it was not data communications.

Every thing seems to be working again, but any gifts sent during the trouble period are worthless. This isn’t a big deal to most, but it aggravates me a lot! My daughter is planting a whole forest of Gulmohar trees on her farm. She has a few hundred already, and needs about 150 more. She lost 28 of them yesterday, due to the problems we all experienced. What a pain!!!

only some of my neighbors have been restored….some are in the neighbors without farm ville category now……and the still show up on my feed also still sending me gifts but no longer on my friends bar????????????

I have lost many spring eggs over 20 and a few gifts. when i accept a gift request, this message shows:” Data error occured while accepting this gift. The gift data was not found.Do you have more pending gifts to accept?” If i click yes, to accept more gifts, it will take me back to my request page, but same message shows for each gift i accept. “Data Error,”

Had the same issues with neighbor bar just loading and never finish. They fixed that and they fixed the gift/feed/thank you issues…. Now thei neighbors farms will not load…. It’s just; reading static.farmville.com …. loading…………………………. and it never loads
It’s been like that all day (me GMT +1), and now it’s 17.50 . Hope they fix this too….and it can’t be too soon. – 3rd april

I publish something and within half a second its gone, my friend is not able to claim it! I specifically put a lock so that she is the only one who can claim it! I know that no body else can claim it! What is going on??? really frustrating!

Can’t get most of my neighbor’s farms to load. Just get a pop up that says Loading, but the farm never loads. This is frustrating as I can’t help my neighbors or collect fuel from fertilizing their crops. Farmville needs to fix the issues with Facebook! If there is anyway I can report this directly to Zynga – let me know.

I am unable 2 accept gifts or publish. When i go onto accept gift it does not divert to do you have an more gift to accept and i lose gift. When i try 2 publish page doesn’t load fully so it doesn’t show the publish or cancel button resulting in me having to cancel publishing….Any ideas

My neighbors have disappeared from the bottom of my farm, they are “loading”. Also at random I am unable to publish items to my friends. I have tried going to Farmville.com and it’s the same. If I go through the “My Neigbors” tab at the top I can see them, but it takes much longer.

I have been having prolems for about a week and 1/2. I will just list a few:
Gifts Lost over 70, these gifts were sent directly to me from nieghbors.
Bonuses not able to see many of them, I only knew they were there cause nighbors told me on chat. Also I speak to some neigbors on phone and they told me.
Bonuses some that I can see will not let me collect. Says I can not collect from my farm, well they are not form my farm.
Posts & Bonuses are all bunched together says there are anywhere between 50 to 110, when I click to open it will not open for me to collect the bonuses.
Spoke to some of my neighbors they say they can open theirs, but for some reason I can not open mine.
Oh and many times when I type a message on chat it says error occured I have to retype message for my neighbors & friends to see. Re Chat I do not know if this problem is from Farmville or Facebook.
I know on Farmville Support they said they are aware of these poblems, so I hope they fix soooooooon!

As of 5 mins. ago, I’m missing 25 of my 50 neighbors. They simply are NOT showing up on my neighbor line-up at the bottom of the screen. What gives?!?! Some of us were planning a co-op but can’t play now. I was supposed to start it, but if my neighbors aren’t on my list they won’t be able to join the co-op will they? I’m also having trouble sending gifts. I choose the gift and the friends to send it to, and FV tells me I haven’t chosen any neighbors to send the gift to! *sigh*

I am having the following issues
i have more than 170 eggs in my easter basket , but it shows that the basket is empty , when i try to redeem them nothing happens.
i have expanded my farm , now im unable to delete certain plots to move stuff around on my farm.
when im working on my farm harvesting trees etc , and then want to harvest plots , then im unable – nothing happens so then i have to close or refresh the page.
or when im working on the farm , and try to open the seeds section to plant a certain crop – it wont open , i also have to go out of the game or refresh the page.
I seem to have lost some of my neighbours also ?

my neighbors have disappeared from the bottom of my farm. i still can send and receive gift from them, but i cannot visit their farm. will it be fixed automatically or have someone to advise?

I also have lost 1/2 my neighbors and can only access them through their posts on FB. When a disappeared neighbor asked to have his crops fertilized and I agree to do so, all my neighbors come back on the bottom. I can access them until I go to my own farm, and then they are gone again.

All of my neighbors have disappeared from the bottom of my screen no matter whether I’m using FB or farmville.com. I’m unable to work on any of my friends farms
this has been going on for a few weeks. I also cannot co-op, no jobs show up & I can’t start my own either. So disappointing.

Sometimes my farm loads and some times it doesn’t and when it does load my neighbors at the bottom of my page won’t load, oh but sometimes I do have the loading writing at the bottom. Therefore I am unable to fertilize my neighbors crops and feed their chickens. Haven’t been able to seed my garden for the past 2 days now or sell items and today I haven’t been able to get my gift box open. I’ve been having loading problems for the past week. I have lost my puppy because of this issue and it did cost me 2 FV money to retrieve my puppy. Hopefully these issues will be solve very soon. Before all of these issues started everything was working fine. Since I’ve been having loading problems I have checked everything to make sure that I was up to date and working properly and I know that everything is working fine. Hopefully all these issues will get fixed very soon.

Yep. Anytime a friend posts something on the wall to claim (ie: eggs, baby animals, adoptive animals, rewards) and I click it, it tells me “Sorry but you cannot claim your own reward!”, im like uhh, its not mine, haha. Glad to see (well not really) that its not just me.

I am unable to PUBLISH items to the news feed of things that come up on my farm. Such as if I find fuel and want to share, only half of the news comes up and the Publish/skip does not show up at all. Started yesterday (6/16/2010). Plus my farm is freezing up all of the time.
Maybe its because of the changes, being able to rotate the buildings, which is great. Anyway I hope they fix the problems soon or I won’t be able to offer my neighbors anything from my farm. (Eggs, fuel, give a thank you for fertilizing, nothing)

Farmville is becoming more & more of a nightmare..Iv begged them, written them numerous times stateing i nvr got my money back, i cant take my chickens out 2exchange them for the golden chickens. I had 2expand the chicken coop 2 stop the nightmare myself. My japanese barn was a nightmare everything i put in it kept disappearing till i had 2use all my own money for nails & boards , bricks, harnesses ect & they stold all that2 . So what i had 2do wz get 10 of everything & keep it in my giftbox & when i had everything than i stuck it in & it wz complete & they couldnt take any than. & not a single person fixed any of the damages yet..Thrs a little man on the side of my screen that stops the game 2read the bits of what ever im doing..I get so angry that i shut off my computer & try 2start again.It constantly is freezing up everyday at least 20 to 30 times..You can do a thsand farms & not find a collection ever..They control the game 2much 2the point that people are getting frustrated & a bit agitated…The game playing itself is so expensive that its hard 2 buy anything or the game is not thr & all yr crops are dead..The least they can do is give you some unwither cause they know that the damage was done on thr end…Stop being is cheap with everything…Who always wants a golden chicken in the gold egg…Its suppose 2be something Priceless,Expensive, not just a chicken…I take care of farms, i fertilize but i cant feed the chickens of my nabours till 6hours later…Than i go back & get my money & experience points at a later date..& ONE MORE IMPORTANT POINT THZ PPL WITH THAT CHEAT BAR OR CODE OR WHAT EVER THR USING SHLD BE BANNED FROM WRECKING THE GAME FOR OTHERS THAT ACTUALLY DO ENJOY IT…Thank you so much for yr time Lill..A lover of the game

Every time I try to claim a bonus, golden egg, stallion, whatever, my game locks up. I get a bunch of flashing in my status bars telling me it’s looking for all kinds of stuff, then goes done then goes searching then goes… It locks it up so bad I have to hard boot. I haven’t been playing long, and I may not be playing much longer if I can’t even claim a golden egg from friends. Real pain in the ass. Come on guys, get a clue. Nobody is going to spend real money to get all the great stuff if they can’t even play.

i am also experiencing the same problems discussed above….even if i accept most of the gifts,,its not showing up in the gifts box and the most frustrating thing is that my newly added neighbors didn’t show up in the neighbor tab and the previously added neighbors are also missing……..Another problem i have got is that they sometimes show up a message saying “Saving your farm…please do not close your browser..”,,this last long for more than an hour while for some of my friends this only last long for only some minutes,,if refreshed the page,everything i have done before this message will be undone and have to start all over again…..this is 100% frustrating.
I hope the FV people solve this bug very soon…………

I have some friends I can’t send gifts and some who say they can’t send me any. One friend says I am on some sort of black ball list?? Have you heard anything about this? When I try to send to my friends who won’t work I click on the gift but the diaglog box that comes up is blank. I have spent $70 in real money on this “free” game so if they are blackballing me it is time to delete the game.

And here we are a year and a half later still having the same problems. My neighbors aren’t appearing in my neighbor bar, I cannot visit other farms, clicking someone else’s feed gives me the “this is for your friends” error and gifts aren’t making it all the way to my gift box. Dear sir/madam,im having problems with my farm bonus loading..it loads ok but when finished theres nothing there for me to click on e.g feed,water cans plus helping friends out to..i have a disabled hand so this helps me alot iv not cleared my bonus or marked it as spam..i was using one day then the day after it just wouldent load properly..iv missed alot of things with my bonus wall not working properly..and in the pass the support team has been good on sorting any problems..so please is it possible to advice me on this matter thank you…

I received a lot of gifts/special delivery from my FV neighbors . But I can not open or accept all the gift. Almost 50 to 60 gifts i received every day but non of the gifts can be open or accepted, although they had just sent to me. I just have to delete all and it is a waste and I am very disappointed. Can you please fix this problem as soon as possible.

Errors? Errors? FV has become one error after the other, but since you asked for specifics…..
During timed quests, I click the “ask” button, and it does not post to FB. If I am lucky, and enough of my friends are at the same level, I can get the parts I need for the quest level. If not…well, you figure it out! The header says, “gift error=invalid”, well, duh! I know that…the new and improved gift tab pops up, flashes red (to taunt you), and won’t open. During any session, you can expect flash crashes, FV has been enhanced, items that disappear when you try to move them, no credit for completing quest steps, so you have to repeat them….
Is that enough? What once was a fun game to play has become a stressful exercise in controlling your temper. And …. FYI…. not conducive to me putting more money on the account for FV $$$. I am sorry now that I ever spent any money on it at all. Lots of people comment that their game is rolling along and they never have any problems with it. I am happy for them, but a bit skeptical. They suggest further that if unhappy, we should just stop playing FV. After all the work and $$$ ? How about this….Is there anyone on the staff at Zynga who knows how to fix all the errors? If not, just say so, and I will “seek life elsewhere”.

Cant send gits to my neighbors. ERROR OCURRED. Cant get gifts from my neighbors as Invalid or Error Occurred I have lost some of my neighbors. Lots of you are saving my farm dont close your browser and you boot me off and start all over again Each restart makes my Internet bill higher. Why are their 2 places to get my gifts . thats alot of extra work to go into the games request for your gifts and go through my neighbors list in farmville and just get invallid or error occured. I have almost 100 people and get less than a quarter of gifts . Is this going to be fixed soon i hope In the amount of bushels i have for baking etc the limit is 400 bushels and that needs to be higher as you have added 2 more games . The Cove and now the winter farmville.

Farmville Gift Error Fix:
What works best for me is to open Facebook in INTERNET EXPLORER and ALLOW FACEBOOK POP-UPS in the Internet Options. Then go to Farmville and click on the ENVELOPE IN THE UPPER RIGHT to open the Farmville Inbox, which is a pop-up. This should allow you to accept all your gifts!

trying to collect items and help friends and fv neighbors it takes 4-10 minutes to load wheather i received or helped gifts it is taking to long to load. right now when i go to face book it tells me facebook is not responding please fix the problem.

i cant get none of my Quest because my posting dont show-up ..also having issues with having to change password alot…one day had to change it 5 times …whats the cause of this

My farmville friends has changed to suggested friends. I can not send gifts to them. How can I reverse the friends list?

hi i love farmville’but cannot collect egg’s and baby animals from my farm n i have 110 requests and i’m unable to collect them i need them
