Life after the Villa in Farmville?
For many of us Farmville Freaks, obtaining the much desired Villa is what’s at the end of the rainbow, but is it the end of farming?
The Villa status is the most sought after item in Farmville, the most coveted possession. Buying the Villa is a special moment for Farmville farmers because it means you’ve made it. Not only do you need 1 million Farmville coins to purchase it, you must be a level 34 farmer or higher.
I must admit, even myself, the FarmGoddess , was a reluctant convert to Farmville after swearing I wouldn’t play and now here I am with 56 million other users, a Farmville addict and a proud Farmville Freak. How did I get to this point? Well, we all start out in the same place with 4 plots of land and high hopes. Maybe it’s all of those unlocked items staring back at us, spelled out in obnoxious red ink “LOCKED”, but none more mocking than the Villa.
The Villa gave me something to strive for, a goal to reach. In the beginning, as a newbie farmer, our newbie mentality tells us that if you get the Villa then you beat the game, but have you? Not likely. The Zynga gods are too smart for that. They know that before the time many of us have even reached the prestigious level 34, with its ability to purchase the Villa, we will already be hooked. We will have already fallen in love with the game and be desperately coming back for more, for more special edition items, more ribbons to earn and more levels to obtain (there are now 70 levels in Farmville). And the Villa? Well, that was just the bait.

Farmville Villa
Will you continue farming after your Villa purchase?

i’m addicted but i think the villa is totally ugly! my goal was the farmhouse, which i think is adorable, and i worked my butt off to get it, and now i have it and love it…wish they would create more things i liked because i’ve bought everything that i wanted. (except for things that are priced in farmville dollars, ugh).

Im going to have so much cash by the time i reach level 34 and the villa is avaliable its not even going to matter… i have everything i wanted up to villa and greenhouse at lvl 29 and i have 500k sitting here rotting… i log on every 12 hours to harvest crops to reduce the time spent on farmville…. it’d be nice if something came out a bit harder to obtain than the villa :-\

how do you get the villa without paying??????
Posted on November 17th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
I reached level 34 last night and I was so happy that I was able to unlocked the Villa, however, I only have 700K coins after expanding my farm and buying farmhouse. I got a little bit upset for lacking of coins needed for the Villa but atleast I will be able to buy it in few more days… I can’t wait to rearrange my farm to show off my much anticipated “FARMVILLE VILLA”.
Thanks FVF for the updates, tips, tricks… within just 4 weeks I was able to reached level 34, and 30 for both of my another accounts. I learned that you don’t need to spend hours in farmville, all you need to know is the timing on every crops, the patient about not having too much decoration that occupies most of the plots.
I would like to be a member of FVF if possible. Here at work we actually have a farmville group wherein we share ideas and being the top level player, it always give you certain privilege. I will be doing “FarmVille Winter Wonderland” as my theme in decorating my desk soon..
Thanks FVF family, you guys are doing a great job.

I can’t stand to visit some of my friend’s farms because they stack the animals and trees up like bricks. It gives me claustrophobia. My farm is arranged just like a real, working farm would be and the animals are free range. I sold all the pigs because Farmville did not give us any feed for them…pigs don’t eat grass and hay. My house is beautiful with a spacious yard and everything arranged just as I would like it if I really lived there. Which I practically do. I looked around my house today, (I used to keep a really tidy and clean house), and realized that from now on Farmville will only be used to do crops and earn coins to enlarge my property. Everything else is the way I want it anyway. No more re-arranging. Tomorrow, I have to go back to the Real World and do laundry, clean and shop like a normal person would do.

The villa could be better. I think for the price, the log cabin should be bigger than the cottages. I don’t like tricks and get rich on Farmville schemes. It doesn’t really test your skill and patience. So what if you get the villa first, or 10 of them.
In real life I am not like that. I don’t try to cheat or take short cuts in life. In Farmvile points are supposed to be earned by experience no?
If you have all these tricks and software to help you get millions of coins and a lot of villas, well, that’s not really earning the points by experience and it kind of defeats the purpose of the game, and takes the fun out of it.
Maybe it is just too much for some people’s pride not to be number one, but that’s all it is is ego. I just keep playing and take my time, and learn.
I do believe in hints and tips, like choosing the crops that are going to bring you the most profit for the least price.
Personally speaking, I don’t mind trying them all, after all , you get experience. Some crops are easier to harvest than others.
Cheers and all the best to you all.

you can always wait for the buffalo topiary which is loched until lvl 40 ;p
seriously, zynga should enrich the game…. A more beautiful villa with a pool would be great!

by the time i got to level 34, i had 2 million and kinda had no interest in buying two. now i’m level 38 and am still the only one of my 40 friends on farmville who has a villa

i bought the villa and all my money went down i got xp but no villa popped up!!!!!! I SAVED FOR LIKE A MONTH TO GET THAT THING!!! i want something nowww!!!! seriously or il get a ban on the stupid game!!!!! its not even funny!!!

I probably would buy the villa because that only costs coins, which is easy enough to make (if you’re patient). What I’d really really like to get, though, is the white manor. I don’t know how long it will take me to reach 56 FV cash. Making FV is close to impossible and I don’t think I’m quite ready to pay real money for non-existent items.

my goal is to buy a estate its much better looking than the ugly villa
Posted on December 28th, 2009 at 2:55 pm
My goal is the tea house and pagoda, saving all my hard earned FV on that.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a villa but I am so far away. I only have 200,000 coins….
wish there was a way to get rich fast on farmville….. ***sad*** I WANT A VILLA !!! WHAAAAHHHH!!!!!
Posted on January 13th, 2010 at 9:50 pm
I am now level 37 and have more than 2 million money i also have an estate and a villa . i would like to have at least 5 more villas and a bigger mighty plantation farm.and…. i also need to sleep.. lots of it hahaha lol! i love farmville though.

I got the villa…..to be honest, it is kind of ugly once it is up. I splurged on the cash and bought the FV dollars for the tea house and pagoda…honestly, i figured i spent enough nights playing this game that the one-time spending of money was not bad. I much prefer the tea house and the pagoda to the villa. But, it was a goal, and i’m the only one of my friends with one!

Man oh Man, I just spent all my money on expanding my farm! Now I only have 5,000 coins! I want the villa
I have the Mannor though!

I just bought the villa. They took my 1,000,000 coins and gave me 10,000 xp, I placed the villa and then it disappeared! Nothing else I’ve bought has disappeared but of course they didn’t cost me 1,000,000 coins!

What does the Villa do? D:
Posted on March 16th, 2010 at 12:51 pm
How is it easy to get a villa??? i’d been playing forever and i can’t seem to get a villa.. =(
Posted on April 4th, 2010 at 1:45 am
Instead of having the villa as a goal , the FV gods should make a VERY special item like at LEVEL 70 and like costs 10,0000 coins
that would really give people ambition to play to the top!
BTW
level 58 has the awsomest name@!! “FARMA_SAURUS_ REX!

I did some math the other day and found out that if you have 200 plots of land (And your patient enough to wait 3 days), and you plant corn in every plot there is about a 50,000 profit when your done AND if you have more plots then that the profit just keeps going ^

Im a level 35 farmer (despite having been playing since November…I don’t plant many crops, okay!) and I have over 2 million coins, and I don’t want a villa. Its too tacky, and takes up heaps of room. On the other hand, my mini-villa is a delightful novelty item that I will never sell, delete or put into storage. Its just too great.

Im definitely looking forward to the day when I can buy the Arapawa (whatever that means) goat.

How many plots does the villa use. If I buy it will it go in my inventory? Also can it be rotated
