FarmVille New Vehicle for Gold Reward

One of the new Co-op Jobs offers a School Bus Plow as the Gold Reward-A Very Berry Field Trip Job. It has been discovered that the School Bus Plow is a 9 crop tractor, similar to the Hot Rod Tractor. (The Hot Rod Tractor- and other Hot Rods- were a special you could receive by being a certain level in Mafia Wars) One of our very own FarmVille Freak Moderators, shannon97405, who calls her farm “TinyVille” reported that the The School Bus Plow is a 3×3 vehicle!
Do you think there will be other 3×3 vehicles available thought Co-op Gold Rewards?

Glad to have a confirmation. Someone on the FV Wiki said it was 4×4. 3×3 is better than 2×2, so I’m happy. Now if only my neighbors would do this co op with me!

Too bad it’s a plow tho and not a harvester or seeder. The Hotrod tractor far and away was the best of the hot rod items and was kind of “realistic” in that I could see a red neck tricking out their tractor.

4×4 would have been too hard to use on a farm unless it was an all plots farm any how.

OK.You are seeing the tractor but what about the duck near the spring pond.How did he get it?I’ve never seen one of them in the market.Looks like the female mandarin duck different of it (in some places).
About the tractor it’s OK for me.However i will not take it.(I can’t take a gold reward at the co-ops,it’s to hard for me)

The duck is a male mandarin duck from the green and gold mystery box. You collect down feathers from it.
The tractor looks cool and I hope it is bigger than 2×2. Either way I’ll get it

ErzaN….that duck is available to buy for F$ in the new duck themed mystery box. From the prizes ive seen none are impressive…..i would love to have this new bus plow though its next on my job list – got all gold rewards except pumpkin and mini pagoda which will be done by tomorrow…happy farming…..btw 9th(SARCASM)

Finally … Zynga is listening and have started to introduce some stuff for coins and cheaper stuff for 1FV – 5FV and better co-op prizes. Let us hope this trend continues.

The yellow and green house was from a mystery box during St Patrick’s Day. I sent one to my Irish friend and that is what she got. She was so excited

Quick question. I know that the timer for the co-ops are “real” 24 hour days. I know if I plant 1 day crops they are ready for harvest in 23 hours.
My understanding was that 8 hour crops (like tomatoes) would mature in slightly less than a “real” 8 hour period so that I would have time to re-seed and do back to back crops to finish in 16 hours and get the gold. Well, my tomatoes took the full /real 8 hours to mature. So, I don’t think you can do back to back on some of these co-ops
Can anyone else confirm this?

I’d like to share my story. It is 2:22 AM here, and I was just being my old FVF self and was checking on my tomatoes (lol) about 20 minutes ago. I noticed in the top left corner that it said i had 74 farmville cash! I had only 24 farmville cash just an hour ago! I don’t know what kind of mistake occurred in farmville, and I know for sure that I did not buy any cash! I am only level 57 so I don’t understand how this happened. Anywho, I took advantage of the mistake before it got corrected and I bought a golden retriever! I wanted you guys to post this so that any other FVFs who had this happen to them could see that they were not alone. Anyways, I’m very happy for this mistake! – I wasn’t going to buy a 300,000 coin, ugly old dog! (Even though I have over 7 million coins
P.S. I love this site! I’ve been a fan of FVF since it had about 18,000 fans on facebook! I love you guys! Thanks for the great info and updates!

Robyn-To answer your question the timer on co-op is in real time and the time that it takes crops to fully mature is also real time. If a crop takes 24 hours to mature, it truly takes 24 hours. If it takes 8 hours, it takes 8 fully hours. You are correct in that for some of the co-ops there is no way to plant two rounds of crops back to back. That is why it is more of a reward to get golf because you need to enlist the help of enough friends and get it all planted in time for all of the crops to mature before the timer runs out. If you don’t have enough attentive friends, as I don’t, I’m sure you could enlist the help of some fellow FV Freaks! Good luck with your co-op achievements!

I want the school bus! I have all hot rod vehicles, but the school bus would look perfect next to the school house building! I’ll be working to get a mail truck too, then I’ll place it next to the post office.
I hope Farmville makes a truck, like the “Requests” icon on farmville.com. That would be so neat!

Cool reward! I have a question about co-op farming? Why are some of my friends telling me they can’t join my co-op because it says it’s full when there are still crops to be planted? I would understand if all of the crops required to be planted have been, but there are still many to go??

I was wondering if anyone is having the same difficulties with the Co-op as I am.
I can start my own Co-op. However, I cant join anyone’s Co-op because I just get a message saying that “failed to join the selected job. The job is either full or no longer exists.”
Is anyone else having the same problems??

Katie, that is the same thing that is happening to me and some of my friends too. I’m wondering if there is a limit to the number of ppl who can join based on the co-op job in progress. Or how many crops have already been planted for that particular job. Anybody know for sure?

Dreamcatcher, the other day my friend started a co-op and called me right away because she wanted me to join it. I tried and received that message about it failing to join the selected job. I dont think that the job could have became full already because she doesn’t have that many friends that play farmville regularly anymore. I’m thinking that it is maybe a glitch or something with the co-ops that they haven’t quite worked out yet???

I almost had one but someone in my co-op didn’t harvest her grapes when they were ready. Two hours later, all we got was the silver. I was so mad.

Yes, I am having the same problems not being able to join. It does not appear to be related to the progress, as my friend and I have experimented, and there doesn’t appear to be any condition where we can join a co-op. Whether I start one, my friend starts one, nothing planted to almost completed, in no case have we been able to join the other person’s co-op.
Too bad I can’t look at their source code to see what conditions causes that message to show up: “Failed to join the selected job. The job is either already full or no longer exists”. Seems to be they are not accounting properly for some condition. Just can’t figure out what they are missing….
