Afraid if they decide to charge for the expansion I will be OFF like others I assume no way will I pay for it expansion. Zygna at the moment have caused endless issues on farmville and have the cheek to charge for this. I would be happier if they gave this upgrade at lockable levels so say Level 30 for this etc etc

Seems a little suspicious that the only wording changed is where the Mighty Plantation …hmmm same price as the Seeds….and you can even harvest the Plantation…….how is that possible………could this be a photoshop ?

ok guys follow directions….
1. Go to the market
2. Go to upgrade farm
3. click on land expansion
4. Click on the buy even tho it is greyed out
The pop up should come up

it pops up because that is where the seeds would be…….look at your photo again…everything is the same…even stating that you have the rights to plant the seeds for 1 week…sorry…..

That happened to me too, but not with the same thing. I clicked on broccoli (I think it was), once, and it said relief for Haiti, ext, and I tried to buy it too but the game went out of sync.

Follow the instructions given by trevor
Go to market –> Upgrade farm –> you hav 3 options (all, expand & landscape) –> click on expand .. even thou the [buy] tab is greyed out click on it.. you should get the pop up.

I have allways assumed that the expantion was only going to be paid for with FV cash. When you think about it I have probboly played 200 hours of Fv and Zygna has not made a dime off me.

It also works ,if you go to buildings, in the marketplace, and click just for animals, and if you click the chicken coop buy, it replaces mighty plantation with chicken coop…. Glitch

I got the pop up too when clicking on both the chicken coop and the upgrade farm/expand tab… only have 10 FV cash so couldn’t see if it actually worked or not. I bet it is probably a glitch too

I’m able to get the pop up, I clicked on purchase and nothing happened. I do have enough FV cash to do any of the 3 choices. I’ve tried 2 of them, and nothing so far.

Just found this glitch, if you click fast enough you can buy as many coops as you want. click buildings in the market then “for animals” then buy for the coop, if you do it fast enough you can buy another coop

Not work here and I have enough dollars to do it, if it had been. Doesn’t really make sense to me. In the FV podcast a few days ago, they said that the 24 x 24 exapansion was only going to be available to members of the FV / FB fan club. They didn’t say anything about making it another benefit for Haiti.

OMG! Freak out about a glitch in the programming much????? It’s a mistake in the code people. STFU! I can’t believe this thread has 45! comments! It doens’t mean ANYTHING. You’ll get your damn land expantion when you do. It wasn’t a week after they released the last expantion that there were eleventeen facebook groups to “Support the 24 X 24 expantion or we all leave farmville forever and go play farm town!” I’d explain why they can’t release the land expantions all at the same time but you’ve all got your fingers up your noses so far digging for golden gnomes that I would bet all my farm cash you bunch of farmtards wouldn’t understand a word.

LOL Tim, very well said – bunch of clowns on these boards for the most part. To the rest of you – do you really think that the expansion will cost FV$? Have any of the prior expansions cost FV$? Let’s use a little common sense here. You guys must be the same people who join the Facebook groups “get 240 FV$ instantly” or “join this group and get unlimited chicken coops, guaranteed” and then complain and sound surprised when it doesn’t work.

Does anyone have any idea how much computer power you need to allow all Farmville players wordlwide to have a farm of 24×24? To store all that information and update it all in real time, continuously, for millions of players, takes a LOT of computer power! A simple update to increase your acreage is a huge investment for Zynga. One that so far they haven’t charged any of us for, except for a few special items…
In other words: Stop complaining and wait your turn.
If I were Zynga, I’d recall all those glitch-items like the 2nd and 3rd, etc. chicken coups and use that memory for expansions for the people that do play by the rules. This game is largely free, you idiots. That means you don’t need to pay a thing! In our world, normally, if you don’t pay anything, you don’t GET anything either…

To the idiots claiming this is photoshop, are you completely incapable of following the simplest directions? It’s easy to replicate. And yes, it is a glitch. You still can’t get the expansion.
I’m hoping this will be a way to get the expansion early. I’ve already given money to Haiti relief and will be giving more. And if Zynga wants to give me an expansion for donating $5, why not? We may find out today.
Even if they do, I’m sure the expansion for coins will come along soon enough. This would just be a nice bonus for the non-selfish out there who don’t mind giving a few bucks to help Haiti.

I find this so funny reading all this…LOL…this is just a game (a free one at that). Those that don’t like the way that it is played or operated should stop playing and make your own game….see how you like it when you work so hard on something only to have people say how you should do it and let it be played. It was true. I saw it myself a couple hours ago. Because I did not have 25 FV cash I continue harvesting. Now I wanted to test, because I have the 25 FV cash, but it’s not working anymore. Probably they discover the glitch, unfortunately

I didn’t believe it at first…I tried, and it came up…I don’t have the Farm Cash for it, and wouldn’t do it anyway…I’m sure it’s just a glitch…
And to everyone who doesn’t think the expansions were ever available for Farm Cash…THEY WERE! You were given the option to buy the expansion with a certain amount of Farm Cash OR have a certain number of neighbours and pay with coins…chances are the expansion will be released to those who are a fan of Farmville tomorrow night…then we can all forget about this.

It’s just a glitch. Its meant for the sweet seeds. However as I was switching between tabs I could see a new icon for big ole plantation. This might be the new ones that they are talking about. I would switch between animals or trees to the seeds and the first icon box shows big ole plantation then goes to the proper one in the tab.

Here’s how to do it (I think)
Open market.
Click on seeds, then the white corn. See the pop up, click cancel.
Click on Upgrade Farm.
Click Landscape.
Click Expand.
Now the BUY button on the 24×24 will be clickable – even though it is grayed out.

Photoshopped, notice it says things about white corn, such as, “All donors will recive a weeks permit to plant white corn, which will never wither, plus a free gift”, it says that right above the cost of the so called Mighty Plantation. So go check it out you folks tell me what you think!

Ever since I upgraded my farm keeps resyncing – cant do much of anything. sync afer one or two thing & then loses it.
Very frustrating. I cleared my cache, changed browsers / computers.

I have exactly the same problem since this week end
The game set works normally but if I change nothing to the current state, as soon as I add or modify some things, I have the message (your game state is out of sync with the server. please refresh the page to continue) 5 or 10 seconds after.

i didnt donate but after a little while i actullay unlocked mighty plantation for 500,000 farmville coins and i needed 30 neighbours and i had 205 neighbours plus 9,588,677 coins plus i am a level 86 and i got 67 fv cash

I don’t consider myself a fullfledged FV freak, at least not until they release a larger farm (30 X 30) or even (46 X 46). I would even be happy with the purchase of a second farm–possible even a 3rd or 4th.
PLEASE!!! I can’t be the only player wanted & eagerly awaiting the next size upgrade. Any idea if & when it will be? PLEASE!!!
