look
as i got the yellow ribbon for the “fenced in” ribbon, i noticed something in the picture.FarmVille Unreleased Fences
sure looks normal right?
look closely.

there we go, cant you see the PICK-IT Fences, or the barbed wire looking fence, or the crossed black one, or the hawaiin styled one?

Seeing as though there is very little to buy with coins in the market right now; and I have so many coins from all the free fuel week harvesting; I simply stored all my buildings and bought the fences to get the blue ribbon. It took 250 white fences, cost me 75,000 coins, but I gained back 3750 coins after selling them and got 1400xp in ribbons rewards and 1250xp from purchasing. All in all an easy ribbon.

Must be nice Robyn, I just bought 60 fences and got no credit for 55 of them. I also lost my money. CRAP!!!

I don’t know why my farm always seems to “work” – it is loaded with “stuff” so it takes forever to load, but hardly ever gives me that “refresh” thing

Is anyone else having trouble receiving gifts? I’ve gotten two today and when I accept them, instead of going to the page where it asks if I have any more gifts to accept, it takes me to my farm and the gift is gone. >.<

@Emilyvine ijust storing the fences on your storage, and taking it out works too. so no need to sell your existing fences.

@ Emilyvine – I could accept a milk jug and fuel, but not the starfruit tree, so…yes, I had trouble with gifts today, but only one kind of gift.

Becareful.
I bought many fences before these ribbons appear. When I get the yellow one and sell my 5 old fences, then I must buy 50 new fences to get the white ribbon.
My experienes: sell all your existed fences before buying the new ones.

guess what!!! if anyone else noticed, it says PLACE on your farm. I just stored some of my fences, then put them back on my farm, and got a ribbon! can you believe it! muahahhah how awesome since I already have about a billion!

I wonder when will they have a mystery box that we could purchase from coins…?And as we cannot access the FV page wonder what will happen to free fuel that we are loosing out on? Will Zynga increase the week period? Also the gifts we missed from Chicks from Home page what about them? And what about the Christmas tree..Its the last day..was supposed to empty it but FV not working since yesterday…bad

you can also store youre fences that you own and place them back on your farm. Then they will count for the ribbon. So don’t sell them but store them.

i sold all my old green fences and bought new green fences, around 200 total and was only credited for 91. thats about 60,000 coins wasted, what a joke. I will never get the blue ribbon there.

Anyone else got a problem like mine?
I had like a 100 fence already on my farm and now if I try to sell them, to make place for the ribbon, my data goes into negative, i have 100 fences, if i delete 10, the ribbon data says that i got -10 fences on my farm!!! What the?! Do I get to start not from zero, but -100? I hope they fix it. Or is this just my unique problem?

@Dennis : actually they don’t count for the ribbon i think zynga just get a strategy to count the fences we had before this ribbon and now we have to buy new ones-.—yesterday i was -1 because I tryed to cheat teh game …i bought one fence and it went back to zero and i just keep buying fences and it worked…only missing the blue ribbon!

sorry to say that, but I’m very very disappointed by farmville with all its errors. today I’ve sold all my fences and bought new ones to earn the ribbons “fenced in”. I’ve bought 84 new fences and they have only gave me the yellow ribbon. what should I do?! continuing playing hopping that they will resolve the problems or just let go?! very very disappointed by them…tx

it worked for me. But it only works for the fences you already own and only 1 time. i tought of this to late after i soled most of them but then i put 1 fence is storage and put it back on the farm. When i looked at the ribbon it said 4 fences needed to get yellow ribbon. so maybe it will work for other farmers

I tried it om my 2nd farm and it only works for the first 8 you put in storage. I only have 8 storage spaces i think if you have more it will work for more.

Maybe they changed it, but putting in storage and taking back out does not help. Also buying then selling puts the count back down.
ie.
I had 0 fences, then bought 2, ribbon said 2 done, 3 to go
I put them in (new) storage, ribbon said 0 done, 5 to go.
I put them out, bought 4 more. got first ribbon.
sold them all, now ribbon says 0 done 50 to go.

i commented about this yesterday, i finished the fenced in ribbon in about half an hour (selling all of the fences back to the market takes so long).. i hope we get these new fences real soon!!

The fence ribbon is definitely tricky. I have a lot of fence already so I sold it all and then bought new fence and checked my ribbon and it was at -1. Not sure how that was possible since I added the same amount of fence that I deleted. Putting the fence in storage didn’t work either, because once I took it off my land it started counting in the negative again. I ended up just having to buy 250 (plus the one negative) extra new fences and then deleting them all to get the ribbons.

i am not sure which fences count towards the ribbons, i have white, wood and holly fence, and dont think holly registers at all, sometimes the other do or dont when they are taken out of storage, its very inconsistent.

If you buy fence don’t sell any until you have gotten all your ribbons or it will subtract.Learned that with the yard decorations. I had so many bird baths and gazing balls. But I sold some and my count went down. So I had to keep them until the blue ribbon. I also tryed the storage thing for the fence. worked the first ribbon. I thought well I will use the purple but that didn’t work. Guess I won’t get that ribbon like I won’t get the mystery box one as I will NOT pay real money for fake stuff.I will keep the fence I have until someone figures out a way. If not oh well won’t get that ribbon.

I have the same problem as Dave #22 , had. I bought 10 fences and then sold them some of the old ones I had…. it didn’t add the new ones but it took off the old ones that I sold. It doesn’t seem to know which way to go.
Also…. I have a question about the falling coins while harvesting or plowing…. what are they for? They never make a difference on any counts of anything. At least not on my farm… should they?

First of all – it’s spelled Hawaiian.
Second – I see no ‘Hawaiian styled’ fences, maybe its just your hollywood image of what you believe to Hawaiian. It’s just a hay fence.

WOW! Yes yes to the guy who noticed these great fence options. I would purchase the white picket…..I would sell all my other fencing for the picket. My husband wants the barbed wire fences. Please give us these options. They are really great!
