FarmVille Announcement: Fixing Common Problems including Gifting
On 03.01.10 FarmVille posted an announcement on Facebook present throughout the day stating that they have fixed or improved some common FarmVille problems:
- Gifting issues, specifically gifts received
- Out of Sync Errors
- Loading issues that result in OOS
We look forward to the resolution of these problems!

Many people still have locked hot rod seeder after meeting the requirements..Been waiting for days and still nothing. I hope they fix this!!!!!!

Right now I have a blue cunning collector ribbon I can’t share. If I can’t click the share buttun I will lose 1,000 xp and 10,000 coins. I try clicking share and nothing happens. I will leave this screen up for three days if I have to. I refuse to lose all that xp!!!

fv limited the sharing link just for friends again. arrgghh.. i cant help my friend’s friend barn coz they arent my friend’s in fb. and they can not help my friends too.

When FV restricts the sharing I start having problems collecting from my neighbors too. Now when I click on their collectibles,eggs,bonuses, Half the time I go straight to my farm.
Accepting gifts is messed up again too. I tried to accept some after tonight’s update and they took me straight to my farm too.

when i click on MY Neighbors it wont let me on other peoples farm, it helps me alot coz it helps me get my level up. so if u can help, ppleace tell me

My farm ville is not adding neighbors that except me at the bottom of my page on the bar.Also it is telling me I cannot claim my own gifts when I am claiming someone elses,not mine.

Same as kimberly morris. Not adding new neighbors. Telling me that I cant claim my own gifts, when I am claiming 1 from someone else. Saying that a neighbor’s gifts have been claimed by someone else when they haven’t been. (i claimed within 5 seconds & they never appeared in anyone elses box.)

At least I’m not the only one being informed that I’m trying to claim my own reward when I’m actually claiming one from a recently added neighbor… Also, recently added neighbors don’t show up in the game window bar (though they do appear, without their names, on the neighbor page).

hi there, does anyone know how to fix the out of sync problem…i’ve been having this problem for almost a month…..logged in my farm for a few minutes then it goes out of sync…whatever i do in my farm it won’t save and everything goes back to the way it was…help..!!! thanx

Same problems here with gifts and new neighbors. Gifts are adding up because I don’t want to lose them. Any ideas when it will be fixed? Zanga said today the issue is being looked into. Takes the fun out of the game. Please fix soon???

i cannot accept my neighbors gifts it says i have 50 exsisting gifts i need to use i know nothing about the gifts and cannot seem to get this problem cleared i wish this would be corrected i like the game but this makes me want to pull my hair out nothing is worth that stress if this keeps up i will drop this game please help

I am just as exasperated as all of the above. The last 6 neighbors can only receive from me and I can’t receive from them. The same error: can’t receive from myself or they must be a neighbor. They send me gifts and between Facebook and Farmville they vanish. I am really anxious to get this fixed. I really like the game but not in the current state.

I know this is just a game, but, they are selling FV cash and virtual merchandise for cold hard cash. If this was a retail store or Ebay you bet they would lose millions of customers until the glitches were fixed…and fixed fast. I won’t be spending any money on Farmville until I am sure it won’t be lost in a black hole like my new neighbors and many of my gifts.

I am having the same problem as so many other members and that is to add neighbours to FarmVille. I presently have 14 neighbour who have accepted me but do not show as being neighbours. This is really frustrating!!! When is this problems going to be rectified?

I have used Google Chrome for years and have played FV with it since I started playing the game over a year ago. Now, I am unable to open my gift box, or click on anything at all! I’m real money player in this game but I am back out of it until it can be fixed. My crops can wither, I don’t care. Oh, by the way, I have a BRAND new computer system and it hauls with graphic intensive games like Second Life (I updated video card and power supply) so it’s not me. It’s YOU. Sorry. Get these issues fixed or the real gamers move to real games.

I am so upset. I timed it right since my friend’s game got messed up — and I told her exactly when I would claim the butterfly decoration on the Tuscan wedding tent. Once I shared it on my page — it seems like all of either FB or FV just stopped working as far as claiming prizing from others. I can’t even collect on fuel on my page. Can this be fixed b/c this really stinks!

Well, people, I know these glitches are maddening, but consider this: FarmVille is a BETA game… so, it’s bound to have problems.
@ Zynga: Plz improve these glitches, or otherwise you’re gonna lose me next!

I have been having problems with Farmville gifting for weeks. I have made reports and complaints several times. This has been going on for many weeks, but to no avial. I can’t gift but 1 or 2 people. In the morning is a lot better for the first few times. Then it gets started. This is very frustrating. You can not help your neighbors and hardly keep up who you gifted last because before you know it the neighbors are active again by the time you get around to a certain point. This is so aggravating!!!! Can someone please fix this. This has been going on for several weeks. I am about to just throw in the towel!!!! and say forget it!!!!!!!

everytime i farm the darn page syncs and i lose everything. this problem seemed to leave for awhile and now its back again. I can’t farm because it keeps putting me back to the same poor state i was in after making tons of money. tired of syncing every minute crazy

at the market- i spent 20 farmvile cash on unlimted snow for all buligldings, fences and trees. This worked fine. Then i spent 20 farmvile case on unlimted lights for all buildings , fences and trees. This did not work, it detucked the cash, but will not activate the tool for the lights.

I have not been able to send free gifts for about three weeks. I have not been getting my coins nor my xp points for my winnery when items are bought since it was built. Please fix it!.

I got the castle, got the rose stand, and got my red sheep. It never gave me a second level of things i had to accomplish…tulips, chocolate, etc. I deleted my castle, which was completed, and bought another one to see if that woulod clear up the problem. It didnt. Anyone have any suggestions please??

New neighbors who have accepted my requests are not showing up on my farm. I have checked and in some cases people have accepted my neighbor invitation twice and still nothing. I don’t understand!!! PLEASE help to fix this as I’m not the only one who is have this trouble.

This is the URL that comes up when I try to gift to my friends who have played. (icon on left side of Farmville screen) It just sits there and nothing happens. This has been going on for months. I clear my cache as recommended…..nothing changes. I am having many gifting problems. Very frustrating – thinking of quitting Farmville even thought I have a new Countryside Farm. No fun playing when game does not work correctly. Accessing “Support” through Farmville or Zynga is next to impossible. Unable to send an email.

I accept my gifts requests on Farmville and even try to ignore them but they remain. When I click on them to accept them a second time since they are still there, it says it has been accepted. Currently the gift requests are piling up – last look I had 31.

I am having problems with getting trees I will see it on my home page click on it and nothing.I am really getting tired of clicking on the trees and not getting them,No one else is getting them. This is everytime, Even sat there and waited for them to come up next and nothing.Can you fix the problem? Thank you.

For about one week I am unable to make requests from friends and unable to Post any sharing of items. It is very frustrating and while I understand problems occur this will result in me not being to complete some timed tasks as I can not ask for items. Will I be able to receive a refund for farm cash I purchased when I reach the point that I am not longer willing to wait for the needed repairs????.

I cannot seem to buy any goods from my neighbors when and if I do it puts my bakery/restaurant in freeze mode and sometimes I cannot get into it to do anything. lighthouse cove restaurant has been froze for two days. Can someone help.

It does get very frustraiting . I can’t do half my Quest because when I need to ask for things it doesen’t post and to post things to share doesen’t work all the time like when you click on sheep pen it says share I click on it and it won’t share

Ihave not been recieving any of my gifts that people are sending me.
If this continues,Iwill no lobger be playing farmville,or any other game you people have.
This has been going on now for quite sometime.
fix the dam problem once and for all,or discontinue the dam game.

I am having trouble playing the quest to be able to get my gifts. It says it loads and sent the request to my friends but no one recieves them. It also says that i cant send another request for another ___ hours but i havent ever sent the first one. I also sent requests for help and my friends dont get them.
