FarmVille Bistro Table Upgrade and other fixes
FarmVille has upgraded the Bistro Table, as many farmers were unsatisfied with its scale. The Bistro Table is part of the French Chateau Collection of limited edition items and can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 6,000 coins.

Other Minor Bug Fixes
- Fix applied to bug preventing players from receiving more than one response to Ask For Gold in 24 hours.
- Fix applied to bug preventing all users from sending Gold to neighbor that has asked.

it’s really annoying that people even complain about farmville at ALL, let alone the sizes of things. i liked the bistro table JUST the way it was.

I am still able to send and receive from my friend. We each do the 10 gold every day. There’s a message that comes up, but we still end up with the gold in the gift box, so they didn’t fix it properly.

Hmm. Its weird. I have 5 other accounts (some are just my friends accounts) and all throughout Valentines day i got 50 a day to my main account. But now, i have only gotten the hack to work 4 times, the rest just 1, and the index.php coming up usually. Its funny, usually i myself can send 10 gifts to my friends at once, but not ever if they are going to me. I continue to try everyday. There are a lot of weird factors, too many to control. Anything you did to make it work?

If the developers are able to change the scale of items already placed on farms, I would like them to consider the cats…If you put a cat up against a cottage it doesn’t look quite right? Lovely graphics though, I love the Provencal Barn.

I think they should just scaled DOWN the size of the farmers and then they wouldn’t get all these negative responses to the new items. I mean, the little farmer is about half the size of all the buildings! How would he/she ever fit through the doors of the buildings?? haha.

Well i compared this new table to the one i already had and this one is definitely more bigger. I’ m just PO that i had to spend so many FV for the other one just to be able to buy this bigger better version for coins now U.U

@ Ruri — The bistro tables were coins when they first came out and your tables should have already became bigger. The two I had bought when they first came out changed automatically to the new size.

I really couldn’t care less about the tables. What annoys me is that they can make them larger, but CAN’T MAKE ALL BUILDINGS ROTATE.
If they could do this, I am sure that a lot of people would be very happy as then they are not stuck with the same damn layout.

For Ask for gold/send gold, try sending out more than one extra request for ask for gold from your acct. I’ll explain, I have 2 friends I do this with so I send 2 requests. What happens when I do this the 1st friend has no problem with sending me 10 gold, but the 2nd friend can only send 1 and then no more sendgold=true. So if I send 3 both friends can send gold just as long as the 3rd person hasn’t used the request yet.

Well people Farmville is NOT real! there is no way they could make everything to scale to eachother on the farm. I liked the tables the way they were. Now they look too big next to the Bistro. but whatever. I like them anyway.
I’m having a problem when I try to accept something someone else posts and it says I cannot collect my own bonus or whatever it is. It ISN’T MINE! ? I also cant fertilize neighbors farms from their link. It seems to be only certain people I’m having this problem with. what is the deal?

Jess – It’s not that bloody hard to scale something to size, very simple math. There’s no trick to it, just basic math. Architects, toy companies, artists and – gaming corporations – do it all the time. The original tables were too small a scale, at least compared to the general sizes of most everything else. Then again, the grass tufts are about half as large as the cats, so there’s not much to do about most of it. My only complaint is that now the bistro tables and the bistro itself are of varying sizes. They wouldn’t have this problem if they had a set scale to start out with, but the creators (in their haste) seem to have forgotten the key factor in imaging. It’s too late to fix it unless they want a radical overhaul and I doubt they (or other farmers, for that matter) would agree with Farmville going ‘offline’ for many many months while the schematics were tweaked. So we’re pretty much stuck with things that’re almost the right size.
But as for it not being possible because Farmville is not ‘real’ – No. It’s not only possible but probable – most other gaming industries scale their images as part and parcel for the course.

Umm. I tried it and it still looks way too small. Now, if the gnomes were at the Bistro, maybe I’d understand! The scale is just too small and looks like they only added one pixel.

Was the “sending 10 gold to the same person” considered to be a bug? Too bad, I could recieve 20 pieces of gold from my two siblings plus from other neighbors. And I could recieve 10 mystery gifts a day (I’m working on a mystery gift mosaic)

I’m part of a small FV group and the ability to send 10 valentines per day to another player was not only desirable, it was vital for us to get to the 150 for the Eiffel Tower. without that ability we’d have been stuck, like now, getting 5 a day in total and getting nowhere near the top prize. I have 40 and will possible make it to 100 by the time the StPats stuff finishes but there’s no way I’ll get 150.
I realise that Zynga are trying to encourage the spread of the game but they continually penalise lone players and small groups. It would be nice if they sent some love to us too and not just to the mass college/school groups.

so they try to fix bugs and fail like always, ture you cant send out 50 gold gift invites to all your multis and have each one send you 10 gifts. (you always get this request for gold has already be used after the frist),
but you can instead send those 50 gold invites to your frist 5 multis so each one has 10 gold invites, and then they can use a new invite to get passed the problem of the “request for gold has already be used”,
or if you really want to just send those 50 invites all to your frist multi and than you can send 50 pieces of gold all from one account, (since they messed up to limit of only 10 per day with the bug fix)

Farmaniac: I agree. I’m not happy that I have to be Facebook-friends with people I don’t even know only to be able to recieve gifts. Yet, I understand that it is necessary, and 50% of my neighbors are people I don’t know in person. :S
