FarmVille Crafting Building & Bushels Upgraded

FarmVille 100 Capacity Bushel
FarmVille has upgraded Bushels to include a few new features.
You can now purchase Crafting Building Recipe ingredients directly from the FarmVille Market. You may buy ingredients for your Recipe including complete Bushel sets in the FarmVille Market for 3 FV$ farm cash. If you don’t have the required Bushels or can’t “adopt” any from a friend, this will help out anyone missing a few obscure Bushels for a Crafting Building Recipe.
In another Bushel upgrade, the storage capacity for Bushels has been increased to 100 Bushels.

thats insane expecive
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:48 pm
I wonder how long it will take to get the upgrade..
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:48 pm
Thank heavens they increased the capacity! It was driving me nuts to keep running out of space.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:51 pm
How many bushels can you adopt per day?
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:52 pm
I think the upgrade of 100 capacity is/was greatly needed.
I agree with Martin that 3FV cash is a bit expensive.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:52 pm
3 FV cash for bushels ?? hmmm
about the storage capacity.. that’s great
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:52 pm
I knew 50 wouldn’t be enough, but I admit I’m shocked they did the upgrade so soon.. and without making us trade 50 items or pay 100 FC, lol.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:53 pm
The increased capacity really, really helps. Eh on the FV Cash thing. I don’t need to expand my building THAT fast or that much. Working to earn it is actually a challenge.

The way things are going to do anything in this game is going to cost money. Buy bushels is crazy. I love this game but I am getting to the point of quitting, I have lost atleast 20 neighbors because of all the problems and expense.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 1:54 pm
OHHHH! That explains why we can’t shop but for so many bushels before the box is greyed out stopping u from buying more, even tho u have plenty of room, and it states u have bags available. Changing rules mid-game is worse than cheating. And incidently, what about the promise to stop adding content before the problems are fixed. How unprofessional.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:01 pm
blah blah blah KIm A. go play something else.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:01 pm
I’m about to start playing the world’s tiniest violin for all the people whining (as usual) who are very good at thinking the world should be tailored to them. No one is forcing you to spend cash, it is an alternative.
Personally, I’m thankful for the bushel capacity upgrade. <3 I'm amused by how expensive they made buying bushels, though. Even if I ever spent cash, I would rather work for the rewards as JewelTones said.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:05 pm
thanks for increase! that was soooo needed !!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
YIPPEE! If you don’t want to pay the FV$ (very understandable), then don’t. For those of us who are willing to do so it is a welcome feature. Especially with two new permanent crops to master.
And another YIPPEE on the expanded bushel capacity. With 3 stars of mastery a lot of bushels can get generated and it means I can store a lot for later use (and go master those new crops).
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
I wonder if this is going to work like the bi-plane… ” new feature available…. WHAT??!??! You’re USING it?!??!? …. New feature has been upgraded to cost you at least twice the price.. Enjoy !!”
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:14 pm
If you need an obscure bushel, here’s what you do -
Have at least one other farm.
Plant that crop on the other farm.
When it is harvested, grab some bushels.
Is that so hard? I have over a dozen extra farms, and I have no shortage of bushels! Use some strategy, and you’ll go far!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
I just wish that the market stall capacity was relative to the number of market stalls you had on your farm. This expanded capacity was sorely needed though, even before the crafting.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:21 pm
I bought bushels for 3 cash, when i went back to my farm, i had 6 cash, so i bought more bushels, went back and had 9 so i did it until i got to 36 fc. now i think they found out because i can’t get in right now. this is the first free cash glitch i have been a part of. you heard it here first.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:21 pm
A dozen extra farms! Damn! That’s an insane amount to manage!
In other news: The re-organized interface to buy your neighbor’s goods is a very nice improvement. It’s sorted by person, not good type, and shows you if you can still snag one right there, instead of after you click on it.
I really do think the crafting buildings are the single best addition we’ve had, it just fills in the missing part that links so many other additions together.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:37 pm
i cant get to my farmers market since they update today.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:41 pm
but i do like the improvements so far. VERY HELPFUL Zynga. AND thanks FARMVILLE FREAK!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
I’m very pleased about the 100 bushels, but now I can’t get to the “Make” section of my Market. Yes, another release without working out the bugs first.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:44 pm
This would be fine if you could actually access the Crafting portion of the Market!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:47 pm
Well this explains why i cant get into my bakery i have stuff ready to sell. Is anyone else having problems getting into their bakery, spa winery?
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 2:49 pm
i also cant get to market.. i have goods who needs to be finished
stop saying i complain! i just point out errors, thats all..
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 3:01 pm
Just wanted to say I’m having the same access problems, can get to bushels, cannot get to crafting, clearing cache doesn’t fix it, I hope they’re working on a solution here, I have goods that were ready to sell hours ago!!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 3:13 pm
@JasonW
I dont grow stuff on all my farms. But I do hoard bushels on them, and “share” the bushels only with my main farm (yes, you can easily do that!). So, with the expansion to 100 bushels in storage, I will have instant access to well over 1000 bushels! I should have a 5-star winery by the weekend.
The extras also send me gifts, perform barn raisings in minutes, etc… not to mention that they send me items with the FV cash that they easily accumulated. Remember the game bar thing, where you got $25 FV? Multiply that by 14, and that’s how much I got out of that promotion. Then take into account the “stimulus package, the Bing promotion, etc… and we’re talking hundreds of FV $s that feed my main farm. Yes, I do have a heck of a nice “main” farm!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 3:58 pm
It’s ok that you can buy needed bushels for FC, but blocking you from buing bushels from friend (as I am not able to buy any) that is not fair.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:08 pm
i think its crazy!!!! 4 farmville cash cost 1 us dollar so they will make a lot of money off of this change! and also why can we only buy one of our friends things from their cottage? that sux!!!!!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:24 pm
Can anybody tell me WHY I should buy soap or wine at my neighbours stores? What’s the use? What can I do with it?
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:28 pm
@pokerface – once you buy goods from other neighbors, you can sell the goods for fuel. In your market, go to Use/Goods. The higher level the good, the more fuel you’ll get. FV Also said there will be other prizes in the future.
Glad to see the crafting stalls are working again.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:47 pm
I like exchanges goods for fuel. Also, it helps you can get $1 FV cash from mystery gifts now.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
Shiloh – Today my kids & I [5 farms] tried what you are doing – raising the crops that we need to exchange for our bakeries. The only problem was that we got very few bushels – max 3 for a whole field, & sometimes none. Add to that the 3 bushel a day limit & even with sharing free bushels we didn’t get very far. I’m not planning to pay real money for bushels, [which is just another way of paying for fuel,] but I can see that this crafting will take time, & so far it’s not worth too much effort. Maybe if the rewards improve…
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:58 pm
To balance my complaint about the bushels – the upgrade of the storage limit to 100 & the other changes are all much appreciated. I hope the 9 plot seeder & harvester come out soon!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 4:59 pm
Overall seems like a good update. For those of you malcontents complaining about the 3 FV$, just don’t buy any! They’re not making you buy them, it’s only if you want more sooner than everyone else, why shouldn’t you pay for that privelge? I only have two extra farms, but they sure came in handy with the 7 Eleven promotion and I ended up with 600 FV$! The only drawback lately (Zynga is getting wise to us, I think) is the substitution of the mystery game for the old mystery box. I used to gift myself all sorts of mystery boxes from my second and third farms, but of course we are still able to gift stand-alone FV$ items, so it’s still all good. Stop complaining already and start thinking outside the box, people!
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 5:16 pm
oh thank god more bushel space. Im nearly level 3 and luv it . And may i say this place is 4 FARMFREAKS not 4 whiners. If u dont wana play or b patient go AWAY!!! i luv the game even the glitches and i got my very 1st zynga gift card and proud of spending money so please no1 likes a moaner. Oh i got the gift card 4m sainsburys and im 4m the uk just 2 let u know lol
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 5:23 pm
@KateV: Thank you for the reply. That’s what I thought. Just wanted to check if I didn’t miss anything else. I still have over 100 cans of fuel, so no crafting goods for me yet.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 5:45 pm
yay about the storage capacity i was getting sick of constantly sharing bushels
and im not going to spend my farm cash on recipes
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 6:16 pm
i can’t think of any other new features that makes Farmville more interesting now. mastering crops, earning ribbons, level up all recipes, and the game is over.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 6:23 pm
Was wondering why they are limiting the amount of bushels you can collect. LOL!!! Another way for Zynga to make money eh??? I wonder yet if they have realized that the bldgs are so time consuming not to mention doesn’t really benefit players who have been playing the game for a long time, that most are only using it to complete the building then its just going to sit there. I know myself and the most of the neighbours I have (about 50% of them aren’t even bothering with it) are not going to continue it. With over 1000 fuels don’t need it.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 6:44 pm
i lost some neighbor, i think its related to this update. whenever i add them up, they still dont show even if they already accepted the request.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
That glitch was a blast! Got almost 100 FV$, woot! (It’s been fixed)
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 9:13 pm
Hanna – Do you mean new versions of the nine plot harvester and seeder? They have been available for ages. They are in the market for 55FVcash each.
Shiloh I do wonder how you manage to fit having a life round 14 farms! Its up to you of course, but to me it seems quite pointless. The fun in the game is reaching the achievements etc with what is available in the game, and in exchanges with friends.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 9:16 pm
thanks for the upgrade..these expansion is indeed a need… by the way, 3 farm cash is just an option for FV players who have $$.. so pLease..?? stop complaining.. it won’t change anything…
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 10:32 pm
@Hanna – with bushels, whether you get one or one hundred while harvesting only counts towards how many you have in your stall and how many hours they are available for. At the current time you can collect bushels form friends, way past what they actually have in the stall. If you grown wheat, even if you only get one bushel, each of your kids can collect three bushels, then share them back one, at a time, locked for you on the facebook feed. so if you guys managed it right and two of each crafting cottages are represented, that means that dividing the ingredients up. if each of you collect three of each ingredient needed for the different buildings, you can easily have 18 of each, every day between the six of you. Then you just share them around until everyone has what they need to craft and you can instantly have enough to make the goods to sell. and if each of you buy goods from each other, you will sell out and ultimately level up faster. so it’s not as hard as you make it seem.
Posted on July 29th, 2010 at 10:42 pm
Well said “D The Man”.
You can also ask neighbors to post things from their bushels for you which can be a great help.
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 1:42 am
okay guys…i have looked everywhere and not found an answer. does anyone know what the limit is for collected bushels before they cut it off?
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 3:16 am
they changed the name of the drinks in my winery. sake is now energy drink? more drinks and juices than wines. next week they might not even call it a winery, lol
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 6:07 am
I have a limit of three bags. How do you get more bags?
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 10:38 am
@Cindy – We decided not to spend real money on this game, despite the fact that we all enjoy it, so we mostly have very few FV$, & use them to expand our farms as priority. Right now I have $20 & 16 neighbors – nowhere near what I need for 24×24. Some of my kids have many more, as their high-school friends play too, but they are often too busy to play much. We don’t live in the US, so no 7 Eleven either. I think I’m doing OK [level 44] for about 6 months playing & no cash outlay.
@D – Thanks – we didn’t think about sharing them on the feed!
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 10:55 am
@Hanna, level 44 is good. Have you made sure to install the farmville gamebar? each of you can get 10 cash if you haven’t done it yet, just use firefox or IE and click this link http://toolbar.zynga.com/install/farmville/?var=Cash. They also have tons of promos at the bottom, like one every couple weeks that’ll give you 2 fc for no really doing anything. mystery gifts give 1 fc sometimes too, randomly.
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 11:16 am
I am with Hannah too. I am not getting the bushels that I used to get. I use to get so many that I was getting tired of the popups telling me about the bushels. Now that I need a lot of bushels, I am just not getting them. I have the largest farm and a large bee hive. Out of three green tee harvest, got 6 bushels (1 , 1, 4). Just harvested rice…and received 0 bushels!! Thats right…NONE! I am wondering if now that we can buy bushels for FV$ if that is why we are not getting the large amount of bushels!
I love the crafting cottages and that they upgraded the market to 100 bushels. But, we need to be able to collect more than just 0 – 4 bushel/harvest since a lot of the wines require 3 -5 bushels
Posted on July 30th, 2010 at 2:48 pm
Just harvested a whole field of White Grapes and zero Bushels. My wife just harvested a whole field of Blueberries and zero Bushels. I think the upgrade to 100 bushels in the market screwed something up. Also, since I maxed out my beehive, my bushel count dropped from around 20/harvest to about 5/harves.
Posted on July 31st, 2010 at 4:51 am
I harvested a whole field of Cranberries no bushells, replanted and harvested white grapes no bushells?????? FV screw up somewhere hope they fix it, very frustrating.
Posted on July 31st, 2010 at 7:54 pm
I Found that you need to harvest at least around 350 plots before the bushels really start showing up. I have 620 plots and I get between 24-40 bushels depending if the crop is mastered.
Posted on August 1st, 2010 at 4:36 am
I still not having the crafting buildings in my farm. Waiting for it.
Posted on August 2nd, 2010 at 4:23 am
Hi can any one solve my problem..
I cannot upgrade my winery from 4 star to 5 star.
i have completed all the required levels and yet i am not able to do a cash upgrade.
I have 11 lac coins and plenty of land to grow but still its not upgrading..
Posted on August 2nd, 2010 at 4:26 am
hey.. problem solved automatically…
Posted on August 3rd, 2010 at 10:41 am
I’m also having trouble earning bushels. Two days in a row I planted a whole crop of white grapes (376 plots each) and got ZERO bushels. Ridiculous!! I’m playing for fun and not spending cash, so I don’t mind growing slowly, but to get no bushels is not right. I think they need to standardize it so that for every certain number of plots planted you get a certain quantity of bushels.
Posted on August 3rd, 2010 at 7:28 pm
I just harvested over 200 plots of blackberries and got zero bushels. That is messed up and it really takes away some of the fun of the game.
Posted on August 4th, 2010 at 4:11 am
I can’t do a coin upgrade either…it says I can but pressing the button does nothing
Posted on August 4th, 2010 at 4:50 pm
I have the same problem from level 2 to 3 (Winery) pressing the button will do nothing, but pressing the “pay 25 FV Cash-button) does work fine???? how stupid is that… Maybe it’s an in-game glitch, hopefully fixing soon…
More people having this problem?
And also got 0 Budhels from my field (517 plots) of Clover, normally getting 18 till 30 bushels… Something is going wrong here……………
Posted on August 4th, 2010 at 11:39 pm
Whats up with having to pay FV cash to finish your recipe i dont think thats right it should be the way it was before the change
Posted on August 6th, 2010 at 4:25 pm
Keith:
Option to pay FV cash to finish your recipe is to finish it early. I’m sure by now you probably figured that out, but for those that are reading this… you can still finish your goods normally without paying FV cash. I too hope that the reduction in harvested bushels is either a side effect of some other change and will be fixed (ie, larger bushel count, pollinated crops, etc.)
Posted on August 6th, 2010 at 11:14 pm
Yip, same problem as some of those above, no bushells !, harvested rice. no bushells, planted and harvested strwberries? none now having a go at blueberries ? outcome?, not hopeful, by the way this was done in one day, also missing a neighbour was accepted yesterday, not in neighbours section, mite b flying in from somewhere, “maybe” lol, very very frustrating !!
Posted on August 8th, 2010 at 6:26 am
I’m having the same problem: harvesting over 400 plots of white grapes, wheat, cane sugar with no bushels. It doesn’t make sense to buy ingredients when I put in the effort and time to grow crops that don’t pay off. What’s the remedy for “out of synch?” Could that be causing the problem?
Posted on August 9th, 2010 at 9:32 am
Same problem: harvesting whitegrapes and peas, without finding any bushels…
Posted on August 10th, 2010 at 5:13 pm
I planted almost 700 white grape seeds. I harvested all of them and, for the second consecutive time, received 0 bushels. Help me out here. Is there a system error or should I just give up on my winery?
Posted on August 12th, 2010 at 3:48 am
I am going to stop planting and harvesting until the bushel thing is corrected… sheesh….no point of all this planting and harvesting but no bushels earned..
Posted on August 15th, 2010 at 4:41 am
…what happens to the bushels that you can ask your friends for? Ive been sent bushels from friends for the past 2 days and they havent showed up anywhere and my stall isnt full??? Sooooooooooo frustrating!!! No Sangria for me then
Posted on August 17th, 2010 at 11:01 pm
okay they say 100 capacity but when you harvest your crops the bushels are not being put in there. What to do??? I see others have same issue. Come on let’s get this right zanga! You should be asked if you want the bushels put where, not just in your market stalls.
Posted on November 8th, 2010 at 10:35 am
I CANN’T GET BUSHELS FROM MY NEIGHBOURS, EVEN IF THEY ARE SELLING IN THEIR MARKET STALL, IT DOESN’T SHOW ON MY SHOPPING LIST, IT’S WRITTEN “sorry no bushels are available right now”.
EVEN IF I GO DIRECTLY TO MY NEIGHBOURS FARM AND TRY TO GET THROUGH THEIR MARKET STALL I COULDN’T FIND THE BUSHELS BUT NOT THE CRAFTING MATERIALS.
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE????
Posted on November 9th, 2010 at 9:18 am
