Would be nice if it worked with Chrome too. I tried it with Firefox and while the alerts are nice, the search bar is trash and I thoughtvit made my browser laggy. Uninstalled, but may try again.

@ Shae — The toolbar is a dual-use toolbar; it contains information for Mafia Wars & FarmVille. To switch to FarmVille, just click Mafia Wars and choose FarmVille.

When I clicked the bonus button, it took me to an unopened egg of one of my neighbors that doesn’t have many FV friends… So, I can only assume that the bonus checker took me to the first available bonus link that hadn’t been bled dry yet.
I assumed that’s what it did, anyway.

MAC USERS: just install Mozilla Firefox on your Mac. You should use have it as a backup browser anyway considering some sites don’t work with Safari yet. I’ve got a Mac w/ Firefox and the Zynga toolbar.

The egg button changes.. it’s either an egg, coins, or a barn, or whatever else you can get from your friends. I opened a new tab, clicked on it, x-ed it out, opened a new tab, and click on it, and over and over again multiple times. It let me help with multiple friends barn raisings, get eggs from people, and collect rewards. Basically it goes through all the recent bonuses/updates from your friend. Every time I opened a new browser, a different bonus button popped up and I got something from another friend. I would assume it will keep going like that until the time for that reward or whatever is expired.

I’m not here to cheerlead, Emily. I have one laptop, and don’t want FARMVILLE displayed while at work. A poke in the eye is free of charge too, so what’s your point?
I know how to tell time, don’t need a clock.
I don’t click on 50/100 coin bonuses, white/brown eggs, I leave those for the farmers starting out, and so don’t need Bonus alerts for them.
I like the collectibles game, but the toolbar doesn’t show alerts for it.
Hardly anyone uses FV.com. so I won’t send gifts through it.
So far, it’s a dud.

Has anyone noticed.. we get the bonuses which are not published by our friends on our walls.. yesterday, i got a golden egg..and i wasnt able to share it with my friends because of some internet probs.. and today when i logged in to my frnds account(after installing the toolbar), i clicked on the bonus button and got the golden egg..checked it with some other bonuses too..

I installed the toolbar on Firefox and I used it for a few minutes. I didn’t really find it useful to me, so I uninstalled it. It’s a nice idea though.

After installing it my Bonus Checker (the one advertised here on FVF) has been disabled with this message:

Firefox and IE are terrible. The greatest is SAFARI which works with both Macs and PC’s. Come on Zynga, install it for Safari users, especially for the millions of Mac Users who won’t use anything else!

I’ve had this for over a week already, Didn’t realise it was new!!! Its good for knowing when your crops are ready in farmville, and on mafia wars if you keep clicking Play now to load mafia wars sometimes you get mini engery boosts.

I have firefox, I’m not on a mac. I installed it, and it didn’t work. The bar itself loaded just fine, but if I clicked on anything on it, it either gave me an error message, or loaded the bar into a regular sized web page.

there is no argue about what button is it – it’s about what bonus you have right now…
secondly, there isn’t anything valuble with this tool bar – it shows the last bonus published by your friends (bonus checker is far more efffective), timer for harvest (like you dont know when you are supposed to harvest – this is too much living in the game)
search box,popup killer,email checker,weather forecast (but you can get those on any regular toolbar….)
doesn’t worth the install yet….

Hmmm a toolbar from a company that made a lot of it’s money from installing malware on users system…. & a self confessed scammer as a CEO…….. Something tells me that this is not a good thing to be installing (same with ANY toolbar)….
& as for the Apple fanboi’s whining on about Safari….. why should anyone develop anything for a browser that doesn’t render pages properly? Safari is a useless browser on the iPhone, Mac & PC.

I liked the next harvest time & all ‘published bonus’ it showing.
The features missing are :
Animals/Eggs published not showing!
Also the green color is too contrasting, they could keep default browser color.

Just installed on a MAC. I read the message “No Mac” too late and now Firefox doesn’t load anymore. Zynga is RIDICOLUS. Every application… also the one written by a nerd of 10 recognize the OS and don’t let you to install if don’t have the requirementes…

This toolbar has caused massive problems with my browsing and I can’t even see the crop coutdown, which was the ONE PART I really wanted. As for the 24X24 that is so slow to load that I can barely stand to get on. Well it isn’t the only Zynga game giving me issues right now. They need to quit updating stuff and make sure the games are working on a basic level. I can get by just fine without a new tree, animal, piece of crap decoration every week. Just make the game play smooth and bug free and I am a happy camper.

I love it! Love the countdown clock and love the bonus and egg button. Instead of having to click through on your newsfeed, it looks like it automatically finds all that is still available. I hate clicking on something and it says it’s gone already. It seems to work fine for me. I click the bonus button and it says my reward and then I X out that window and the next one available pops up on the toolbar. After all you can get is gone, the clock moves close to the play now button.

I wanted the countdown clock, but everything stops working when I click on a bonus. It opens in a new tab & directs me to their site, which is kind of annoying. I installed this on Flock, which is a Firefox-based browser on a Vista Basic computer. I would like it if it actually worked, but I think it’s just a waste of screen real estate unless they fix the bugs.

I like the idea of the pigeons and super pumpkins, but couldn’t they think of a different super fruit or vegetable? We already have pumpkins. How about green beans, wax beans, cauliflower, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, or ocra? There are so many other veggies and fruits!

i just installed the toolbar yesterday and i love it! i like knowing exactly when i need to harvest and i like the bonus pop ups.
i think it’s funny that people complain so much about these free extras. if you don’t like the toolbar, don’t use it. mac vs pc? who cares?! it’s personal preference. i’ve used both and i prefer pc, it’s what i’m used to.
so is the toolbar customizable at all? mine sometimes shows the groundhog info and i’d rather it stayed on the countdown to harvest. is there a way to make it do this? thanks

I just got this toolbar and it shows that there’s a bonus egg and every time I click on it, it takes me directly to farmville.com and says that the eggs are gone…. it also says it’s the same persons egg each time. I think I’ve clicked on it like 10 times and I know this person hasn’t even been online today….

To every1 out there:I used to be the biggest fan of farmville until 1 day i stopped and think, wot do u gain in the game ‘fun’ but it doesn’t last long does it you all play the game but wot do u achieve….nothing! whick is why i stopped playing because there have been complaints like all the stuff that we want like the items that we really like are in farm-cash not in coins and the producers don’t think about wot we want only wot they want and wot they get in the 74 million players that play they will be rich…. so i say this now all you players stop you have other things to do like studying not sitting on a chair in front of a white screen all day which will damage your eyes and fatness which leads to diseases so stop wasting your time on this game but even if you don’t stop sum day you will realize sooner or later.

I installed the toolbar & it is bogus doesn’t do anything all it shows is a the zynga logo
and a green box that says farmvile with an arrow and then mafia wars box if you press it. neither boix oes anything.
So it does not show anything or let you do anything. Does not look like the one in the picture above. I followed the directions twice with the same result.

I at first loved the game bar, but now it keeps showing that I have bonuses, and I click on it, then it comes up saying sorry all bonuses are gone and to check back tomorrow. Problem is, is the person whose bonuses are gone, doesn’t even play Farmville!! What now????

I used the Farmville toolbar with firefox but unfortunatly slows everything down, farmville and facebook feeds. i kicked it out and now i’m back to normal, Zynga yet again can’t add something without having glitches all the time.

I used the bonus button and when i went to my farm, my gift box was totally full with 50 items, that was so much easier then going to every bonus seperately and clicking on them. I love it. Look mine has downloaded and never given me any presents and if it doesnt give me anything then i shall complain because you made me download it and ive not got anything other than a toolbar…..

My game bar is installed and it has not shown any bonuses or eggs / coins although they come up on the game feed. It is only showing the harvest time and ‘play now’ button. Is there anything I am doing wrong or should I re-install it?

When ever I click the bonus it say a friend who doesn’t use farmville anymore has no gifts left for a celebration. I always get the same message. Is it broken??? I use Firefox.

I downloaded the toolbar via firefox onto my Mac but apart from Shwoing countdown to Harvest it doesnt show bonuses or anything…. so its pretty pointles….. Also now when I play on the live feed and click on farmhands, arborists or even xp bonus from other people live feeds it just says if you ant bonus’s download the toolbar and its not givin them to me…. I can get collectables and stuff just not the bove items when I could before????? Any help???

I installed the farmville game bar but it doesn’t work out! it shows a lil square with that red cross that means that it can’t show the image and it doesn’t show me the time I still have until harvesting and that stuff… I’ve got the 7th version of IE and windows vista… could this b the problem? (vista’?) helppp plizz

it was working 4 me 4 a while but all of a sudden it has stopped its just saying chose a game from the menu i chose farm ville and it dose not change that just started about a min ago but 4 the last liker 2-3 days it will not show me the timer it kept saying plant corps now or harvest was ready but i had my hole field planted and my crops would only be about 30% done and i don’t know y i am running on windows xp and it all so stopped letting me know when i had bonus available so i have know idea whats going on any help will be greatly appreciated ty

Same thing is happening to me, Jeremy. My toolbar constantly says either Harvest id Ready or Plant Crops Now. It says that no matter what I do. HELP ZYNGA.

I tried to download the zynga tool bar from the web page, but when the little bar pops up and i click “download file” all it does is pop me back out at the zynga homepage!!! WTF!?!? HELP PLZ!! (also i’m using IE 8 and running windows vista)

i am not joking three days ago when i opened by Farmville it showed me a screen in which it was said that get 25 fv by installing Farmville Toolbar i was too excited, ithat excitement i forgot to take a snap / pic and till to date i am searching who to get that thing agains

I got the 25 FV too, today just by installing the bar. It’s free and I think sometimes you get them as a pop up window right after the installation, but I got mine after I picked a bonus. However the toolbar is not very useful but the 25 FV are!

Oh yes,it gives u 25 FV,i clicked on farmville n while it was loading the screen showed that i’ll get 25 FV by downloading the game bar i was soo excited i just clicked on it, later when they were telling the benefits of downloading it they didn’t mention about giving 25 FV n i almost thought i day dreamed it.. lol but i downloaded it anyway n i actually got it! game bar is fine but fv is obviously usefull

To get rid of it, if you use firefox, you got to Tools -> Add Ons -> Find ‘Zynga Toolbar’ and click it so it’s highlighted. -> Uninstall

The bonus bar is ridiculous. It worked great in the beginning and now it’s terrible. It was only going to the free gift page lately, and now it gives one bonus and then says, you’ve received your gift. Some bonus! Why do things keep changing?

Worked great at first. I now have to install each day, it disappears,also says i have already received gift sometimes takes me to gifts instead of giving bonus. was worth it but now just another problem.

Is there some kind of bug with the toolbar? The rewards button is no longer showing up. I got the “play now” and the “harvest in..” but nothing in between them? Had it all up until today….is this feature canceled? or is it just buggy?
