Other FarmVille Updates including One-Click Harvesting for Animal Buildings

Tonight’s FarmVille update featured lots of new limited edition New England themed items, new Mystery Game prizes and some other minor and less noticeable updates including the following:
- Animal Buildings such as the Chicken Coop,Dairy Farm, Horse Stable and Nursery Barn now have one-click harvesting, just like other animals!
- Goji Berry seeds are still available in the FarmVille Market, but have simply moved to another place. Usually the first item you see is Goji Berry seeds, now they can be found with other fruits.
- The Email promotion of “Daily Fuel Boost” is now a regular feature.
- More farmers should have access to the new Crafting Building feature.

Am I first? This crafting stuff is stupid for fuel. Hard to find bushels since we can only have 50 bushels EVEN if we have 5 stalls. Stupid.

Amen, Mandy! Because now, once the brown or gray horse is in the stable making it ready, you have no choice but to harvest. You can’t take the brown/gray horse back out. I tried breeding my new Morgan and keep getting the brown and gray foals because you can no longer “Look Inside” if the building is ready.

i dont mind that u use bushels to get fuel but u wud think they would at least give u a good amout i get more every 8 hourse off my game bar

Shame on you Zynga! I spend my hard earned money so that I might breed horses for my friends and you must go and lower my chances of me breeding the ones I want with this change!! Just another manipulation! I hope you get enough complaints that you fix this back the way it was!

The automatic harvesting really sucks for the dairy barns and stable. Now you can’t control which horse you want to breed if you are using seeder horses. And considering how hard it is to get a foal in the first place lately, that is really going to take out a lot of the fun of it.
I’ve been getting the fuel bar every 6 or 8 hrs, so I get lots of it, I already have over 600 tanks. So the crafting cottages are a waste of time for me if all i get is fuel. It’s kind of fun, but I bought all 5 stalls possible, and I don’t think that only 50 bushels even with 5 is right. I spend all my time shopping for new bushels and throwing away perfectly good bushels I would rather keep for harvesting masteries. I would be happier if you could trade in for fv dollars instead of fuel!!

I made a decision earlier this week to get rid of my grey and brown seeder horses and replace them with the adoptable black pony…. glad I made that decision now!

Just had to screw up the horse breeding. We buy the rare mares…..don’t see why FV couldn’t leave the stable alone. The one thing that was not boring, all our neighbors enjoyed and we all had fun at.
Does FV want everyone to quit playing this game ? ? ? ?

I completely agree with everyone!! The one click harvesting SUCKS! They should give you the option like they do with the recycle button, you should be able to choose if you want a quick harvest setting!!! I was all excited that we had a new horse tonight and then I read the updates….kind of took the wind out of my sail.
PUT THE BARN HARVESTING BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS ZYNGA!!!

Sooooo am NOT happy about the one click harvest!!! I wanted to selective breed in my stable, and try repeatedly- now I can’t. I dont mind it for the cows, or chickens….. The stable thing SUCKS.
I also agree that we should be able to buy things for coin, not just cash– the economy sucks for so many of us– let us enjoy the game with all the extras.. At least give us the option to trade in coin for cash.

One click harvest will be the end of breeding, the end of trading and – for me – probably the end of the game cuz this was the last thing with real fun…

But ok on 2nd thought… if you harvest the stable you probably can stuff and breed again, at least i hope so; so the bigger prob will be the cows, where i often change things before harvesting (but one can do this in time, at 99%, too), not the horses. (Perhaps finishing my exams has to wait after all, lol)

People, keep in mind that high- level Goods make a ton of Fuel. And the restriction with the 50 Bushels is an Gameplay element that forces the user to manage “the channel” efficiently. If done properly it’s no problem and you can finally kill the dependence on Fuel which is AWESOME!

I have 40 mares in my stable. Yes, 11 are brown mares and 11 are grey mares so I get a lot of those foals. Still, some of my neighbors who are new players want them. And I still get the occasional clydesdale or pinto foal, even though there’s only 1 of each in my barn.
Same with calves. I have only 2 neapolitian cows in my barn. Still, I’ve gotten several of those calves lately. Much to the joy of my friends. So all is not lost.
Just put rare cows and mares in your barns and you’ll be sure to get offspring that pleases you.
As for the crafting cottage, you can only trade the goods in for fuel NOW. But they are supposed to add other incentives later, hopefully ones we wouldn’t be able to get any other way. And it isn’t that hard to manage your bushels. Get 8 bushels to craft a good, put it in the oven and go back for more bushels. That way you have 8 spots in your pantry reserved for bushels for making goods and 42 other slots for bushels you are keeping for your masteries. Not so hard.

I don’t see the big deal, but only because I am a bit lazy with breeding, I never take the seeder out anyway. However, I would suggest collecting as many black pony foals, silver ponys (if u have iphone) cream draft foals and black horses as possible, (the black pony foals are the easiest to collect) and just use them as seeders, that way you will still get good horses out of the breeding rather than a load of brown and grey ones. Thats what I do, and it saves time.

Zynga is getting way too greedy! I’m so glad I’m not a new player cuz I would quit the game right away…The crafting building yahoo is way to complicated for just fuel, everything is getting more expensive and now it gets more complicated to breed the rare horses which we’ve paid a ****load of money to get….come on Zynga, get a grip…

You can still breed your horses. You will need to keep your seeder horse in the stable. Today I did get two Morgan foals. You will get more unwanted foals because you will have to leave in your seeder horse. I wish there was a way to turn on or off the one click harvest, that way when I breed I can turn it off and then back on after I am done. I will just post the unwanted foals to the feed and save the others for tradin. No worries.

I like Goji Berry. Still can’t purchase it, I am not in US. I liked Fun Slide having sheep dancing n jumping in water. Again! buyearnplay is not available outside United States and Canada.

How in the world do you get cows out & put cows in your barns now????? Besides I have all but given up on the possibility of expanding my barns…..after three contacts with FV support no luck!!! I don’t understand why FV thinks the one click harvesting made the barns & stables better!!!! Wake up FV if it ain’t broke don’t fix it…If it is broke fix it please!!!!!

Until the crafting cottages give something besides fuel, I’ll pass on this feature; especially since I decided to take my time (not pick a building the 2 times it popped up) and after that, my “free” building option was gone and now I’ll have to buy the stinking thing!
And why fix stuff that works fine, such as the animal building?? Why not put some effort in all the things that don’t work correctly?? Or make some of the damn N.E. buildings coin-available?? sigh

Well, seeing how much people can’t stand the one-click harvesting, i think that it’s time Zynga releases this settings panel that was in the sneak peak section a while ago. Or, make a 1 click/Option menu tool, so that you can control that one click thing. I hope the option menu is huge and people can pick what they want so they can finally shut up!

i hate one click harvesting for the stable…thanks for screwing something else up!!! i had just started, literally like 4 days ago, breeding my horses and now this happens! It’s bad enough my black stallion is just giving me coins and only 1 foal for like every 15 tries…and now this! ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!

OK, I don’t like the one-click either, but, come on, it only lowers your chances by 1/n per shot. You can also keep at least one of your fancy animals outside as the seeder (or more than one if you want to do the fancy animals one at a time). Relatively minor when you have a significant number of animals. If you only have a few, then your chances of getting anything are slimmer anyway.

Oh yeah, for those with an iPhone you might be able to remove the seeder with the app. Haven’t tried it yet, but it’s a thought.

OK, SUPER DISLIKE! There goes the foal breeding, right down the drain. Theyre worrying too much about retarded useless CRAP (like Fermers Market and Crafting) and taking away all the good stuff that us serious farmers actually use! The only thing Farmers Market is good for is the double mastery points when we use bushels, but even that almost seems like its making it too easy to get our masteries. Ugh!

I don’t see Goji berries in my marketplace at all. And like the rest of us here I also hate the new stable upgrade. Makes my efforts in procuring a stallion even more frustrating. I wasted 160 farm cash all for nothing and now I can’t even use a wandering stallion to harvest anything other than the little black pony which me and my friends have amassed. It would have been great to breed pinto foals since I bought one pinto, but I suppose there is a use for my 85+ little black ponies. FarmVille has gotten worse with every update. Now I can’t even send gifts to my friends anymore. At first I thought it was because of the annoying gemstone glitch. You know the one where if you come across a gem while plowing your farm and instead of allowing you to post a news feed about it it takes you straight to the gifts page to send to your friends….

you can still remove the gray/brown horse but you must do it quickly…when you add one the collect horse hair icon disappears for a second and in the second you must look in side and remove brown/gray. you can also just forget the brown or gray and just use the black or any ready horse…you don’t have to do them in any order to get the foal…try and see…i have been breading for a long time and it will work..only now zynga has cut back on the numbers and they are low but you can still produce them..good luck!

They need to fix this One-Click Harvesting mistake now. This sucks for people who enjoy breeding. If I spend real money to get horses to breed, I don’t want to ever get a foal from my seeder horse. Why did anyone think this was a good idea? How does this benefit Zynga? Breeding is good for Zynga as it is an incentive for people to buy horses with farmcash. They should be encouraging breeding and making it easier, so people want to spend real money to get the newest horses. They person at Zynga who suggested this should be fired.

After giving the opportunity to get a permanent stallion, which a lot of folks probably spent some real cash to get, they take away the purpose of having a resident stallion. It seems a very sneaky thing to do to get real cash . I realize the “game” is for the advertisers not for the players, but come on at lease leave the fun parts alone so you will have players to show to your advertisers.

I am a little confused? What is the seeder horse thing? I have only fv cash horses in my stable with 3 stallions. Am I no longer able to add additional horses to stable? I was going to purchase the morgan, but now not sure. Can someone explain for me?

@ OneClick… I completely agree with you, I too have to finish college and was getting way to sucked into this game. I loved breeding foals for everyone, but now I am done. They keep taking the fun out of the game by adding more and more rules! Zynga is really killing farmville, slowly but surely. If they keep this up people will just stop playing, like I am tonight! See ya FV, thanks for breaking my addiction by RUINING the game! Now, back to my microbiology homework…

If I had known that the stables were 1 click now I would not have bought the new horse. The main reason I play this game is to breed horses and the 1 click just ruined that. If it does not get fixed I will stop playing as the rest of it holds no value for me. Very disappointed!

Steve, I sure would like to know what you are talking about. All of the animals are not ready at the same time and the post is only talking about building with animals in them that have to be harvested. You don’t have the option to look inside when you click now.

i dont like any rule i dont have a stallion and i never had the farmcash and the chance i am 17 years old. yesterday i spend 20 euros from my mobile because i wanted to get a mini stallion got the tree and the donkey i want the stallion but i cant buy it and this is because zynga is not thinking of poor families we cant buy all this is so expensive sell horses like 10 farmcash . make cheaper the mobile to buy easily i would like the hafliger in sale if its 11 farmcash on thursday and if released i will get it but i am really deaply sad with this because u are a bad people that never anyone loves u only like money but u are not trying for the my parents work and my mom takes 30 euros a day and i spent 20 for ur ****ing animals …why dont u sell these animals on the market on animals so we can buy a stallion for 30 farmcash for sure ur game is gtting worse every day……
