Hemp should be a crop on FarmVille. No THC content in Hemp plants, just that brainless “scientists” that “advise” the Governments think that Hemp is the same as the Cannabis plant! Same family but two different species. Hemp has more benefits than the vast majority of other crops that can be grown & is also very good for the human body with the sheer amount of Omega-3 acids and other beneficial nutrition. In the past 3 years I have learnt so much about Hemp from the only licensed farm in the UK, it is unbelievable that the Governments don’t allow it to be grown freely. Identification of the Hemp plant from the Cannabis plant is quite easy to even the untrained eye, so no problems there for the authorities to check.
JasonB52 wise up! Marijuana has never killed ANYONE. Alcohol and Cigarettes kill thousands of people a year, yet their legal? What a messed up world! Legalize don’t criticize! Marijuana has changed my life for the better!
It would be awesome to be able to grow Weed on FV, nice little patch of Jack Herer or Chocolope perhaps
I live in a very small town called Nelson,- It’s concidered to be “The Tree Huggin Pot Smokers Capitol Of Canada”—I don’t go around huggin too many trees thogh—It has it’s own Cannibis Cafe—Awsome by the way—and it also has many Hemp shops which i just bought a purse from one of them—Great material Hemp is…lasts forever.
We should be able to grow HEMP on our farms—that would be awesome.
I’ve got an idea for Miranda, Chelsea, & Kent… Why don’t you stop being lemmings and realize the truth that marijuana is not as harmless as you are being led to belive. Marijuana ruins people, and it is a travesty that more of you do not realize that. I don’t care if you call me a square, maybe I am, but I am not about to stand by and watch as people destroy themselves.
Marijuana does not ruin people, people who make BAD CHOICES and have NO SELF CONTROL ruins people, I have smoked weed for over 12 years (since I was 16) I have graduated high school, I have an amazing job as a legal assistant in a government sector, I have 3 happy, healthy and bright kids and money in the bank. Almost everyone I know smokes weed from all walks of life. I’d love to see your proof to back up your claims of how “dangerous” it is, cause I can show you countless proof of how dangerous and deadly alcohol and tobacco is and even the household chemicals that are under your sink. get a clue.

Anyone in law can tell you that you’re point is moot. Basically you just said “show me proof of A, and I will show you proof that x,y,and z are deadlier then A, even though x,y, and z have no relevance to the argument at hand.”
So…to anyone who is standing up to the believe that drugs ruin lives, good for you. Don’t let some idiot who doesn’t have an unique thought in their little head intimidate you.
Canniie is right. It’s not marijuana itself that ruins lives, it’s the lack of self control and people making bad decisions. Don’t judge anyone who says they smoke marijuana. Don’t put people down because of it because I can almost guarantee anyone that someone in your life smokes it, even if you don’t know it. So would that change your opinion on them completely? If so, that’s what’s sad.

And to those who have suggested that personal experience with family/friends might change my opinion: You could not be more wrong. I have seen firsthand what Marijuana does to people. For one thing, it has an uncanny ability to suck the drive out of people so they are content to sit around and do nothing. The other thing that is quite clear is that associating with people who smoke/sell marijuana exposes you to the type of people that take you deeper down the rabbit hole.
And by the way, let us remember that my original statement is that people who grow marijuana are a waste of humanity. It is the growers and the dealers that are exploiting our weaknesses for their own personal gain.
lol@JasonB52. Maybe if your posed a legit statistic like “if you smoke pot before your temporal lobe is fully devolved you’re 2 times as likely to get schizophrenia in your lifetime”. Or pointed out that “no one has died from marijuana” statement is a bias statement, used by NORML and other marijuana activist support groups, that only accounts for overdoses, not THC related deaths.
It’s the people like you who watch “Grass” and freak out thinking pot is going to kill off the entire human population instead of realizing that it isn’t really that bad and that you’re basing your entire argument off of anti-marijuana propaganda.
Inform yourself from both sides of the argument and then make a choice because you sound like a complete moron when you talk about it.
1) “Sit around and do nothing”, actually, the majority of pot smokers are middle class people. Seeing as MOST middle class people work 35-40+ hours a week it’d be nearly impossible to “sit around and do nothing”.
2) “Associating with people who smoke/sell marijuana exposes you to the type of people that take you deeper down the rabbit hole”, you admitted to being exposed earlier when you said you’ve seen first hand what it does to people. Are you further down in the rabbit hole?
3) Personal experiences vary from person to person depending on the point of their idea. If I want to be an activist for pot, I’d never tell you something bad about it. If you’re anti-pot, you’d never tell me something good about it. So personal experiences are pretty much void in any realistic argument.
4) “Exploiting our weaknesses for personal gain”. You’re on a site for a game in which it uses human emotion to make you want to spend actual money on their game. You do realize the new “They of Mystery” ribbon would cost you 480 FV to get right? You get 5 for starting the game, and up to 70 more as you level up. Lets say you end up with 76 (because you can get 1 FV in a mystery box). Or hell, even 100. You’re still 380 short of getting the ribbon. What do you do? Pull out your Visa and buy enough to gain the ribbon.
This entire game is based off of using people and predicting what they’ll be willing to spend money on. It’s ALL about exploiting our emotional weaknesses for their own gain! Did you not think about that before you posted something so ridiculous?

Everyone is different. People handle the marijuana high differently. Some people become lazy and others become more motivated. The higher tolerance a person has, the better they can function while stoned. I would rather be on the road driving with stoned drivers than drunk drivers. Don’t say that the marijuana discussion doesn’t concern alcohol and tobacco, because people are fine with legal alcohol even though it effects your judgement way more than marijuana does. Tobacco is as addicting as heroin! The taught us that in school when we were twelve for crying out loud! At least the taxes from tobacco pay for things. Marijuana isn’t addicting, people develop a psychological dependency, not addiction, over time. Alcoholics can ruin their own families lives as well as perfect strangers. Just because somebody smokes marijuana doesn’t mean they become slow and stupid. I started smoking pot when I was 12 and maintained the honor roll all the way through middle school. I graduated high school 2 years early while smoking weed every single day. And now I’m on the presidents list in college and well on my way to becoming a TEACHER while I blaze and tutor my peers. As stated above, it’s the person who screws up their own life, not weed!
