The way that FarmVille’s Facebook news feed shares have changed!
They have taken out the annoying confirmation or “Do you want this?”step that required an extra click to claim the item.
The first click on the feed can claim your prize- if you are fast enough Upon claiming the prize, you will then have the ability to send a Thank you gift to your neighbor who posted the share.
All FarmVille feed shares will work this way.

Farmers are freaking out as FarmVille is right in the middle of updates and everyone wants to check out
the new releases such as the new constructible Haunted House.
There is no need to worry about your farms or crops too much as Zynga usually enables Unwither and Puppy feeding during events like this.
You may have noticed that FarmVilleFreak.com also experienced some crashing issues tonight due to high traffic, which makes us feel a little better since even mega giants like FaceBook.com are occasionally down.

FarmVille Freak "Dislikes" today's FaceBook Outage. Where is the "Dislike Button" anyways?!??!
Earlier today, FaceBook went down and everyone freaked out!
FarmVille Freaks were worried about their farms, crops, and beloved Puppies going hungry. Mobsters were on edge from being forced to take a break from whacking people and all the other millions of people who have some sort of alternative internet career in the realms of social gaming no less worried about something. Oh and then there are those other people, who still use FaceBook for purposes other than gaming, well they were worried too.
Even though the outage was only for 2.5 hours, panic was widespread. The world reacted and news of the outage made both national and international headlines. According to FaceBook this is the worst outage that they have experienced in four years. So what did happen? If you want to read all the nerdy technical details about today’s outage, click here. If not, just be happy knowing that it works now and that even though FaceBook was down, Zynga was still looking out for all its addicts farmers. Unwither was turned on and Puppy starving was disabled.
Now, if only FaceBook could fix our disabled FarmVille Freak FaceBook Fan Page. That’s probably asking for too much.

The FarmVille Mystery Game has been updated tonight, September 7th 2010, with more Western themed items. There are repeats this time round!
As per usual you can purchase a dart to play the FarmVille Mystery game for 16 $FV. There is always chance in playing the game as you can receive multiples of each gift before receiving another.

What will top your holiday gift list this upcoming season? I would venture to guess that quite a few FarmVille Freaks will be asking for the new and upcoming Facebook Credit gift cards. As reported by USA Today this past week, Facebook Credit gift cards will become available for purchase from Target stores sometime in September (along with several other retail stores by the end of 2010). The cards will be sold in quantities of $15, $25 and $50 USD in stores across America as well as online at Target.com. Facebook Credits can be used among the many social games played through Facebook to purchase virtual goods.

As USA Today pointed out “this will be the first time Facebook has had any presence in a retail store”. The sale of these Facebook Credit Gift Cards will demonstrate for the first time the profit Facebook can make by their major role in the social gaming world. Once again I want to know, Does Facebook need games like FarmVille? Or, does FarmVille need Facebook? With users being able to purchase something ‘physical’ from Facebook, that will surely display their money earning power in a real way to users. I know I have felt a lack of support from Facebook in several situations, such as security breeches or lack of customer support in general. Lets hope the “10 million active users a month”, or even demand, that Facebook improve user support and privacy options.
There is another new FarmVille FaceBook newsfeed sharing scam.
You may see these scam posts on your FaceBook wall. They appear to be legitimate FarmVille shares of Crafting Building samples and goods, but if you notice the word “FarmVille” (as it is usually written on legitimate FarmVille shares) appears as “farmville” in lowercase letters.
You may want to avoid clicking these fake shares.

Some FarmVille Freaks have reported that you have “lost” your Crafting Building during an attempt to either place it on your farm or when some other in-game error occurred.
The problem with Crafting Buildings is that you cannot select one after you missed or ignored the initial pop-up notice. Now, if you buy a Crafted Good or if you “adopt” one from one of your FarmVille neighbor’s FaceBook newsfeed and you do not already have a Crafting Building, you will receive a notification that offers you to place a Crafting Building on your farm.
These notices will serve as a quick fix for whatever glitch you may have experienced when “losing” your Crafting Building and allow you to place a new one on your farm.
There is a new FarmVille background that FarmVille Freaks like J-Chaves are experiencing. You can see the background image above whenever you post newsfeed shares to FaceBook. This background replaces the previous transparent black screen.
A few days ago the FarmVille Fan Sheep finally reached its goal of 2 million fans on FaceBook. Even though the FarmVille Shee lost the Battle of the Barnyard to the FarmVille Cow, Zynga is still celebrating with the release of a special FarmVille Sheep.
The Fan Sheep should be available in the FarmVille Market very soon- perhaps tonight!
