FarmVille has upgraded Bushels to include a few new features.

You can now purchase Crafting Building Recipe ingredients directly from the FarmVille Market. You may buy ingredients for your Recipe including complete Bushel sets in the FarmVille Market for 3 FV$ farm cash. If you don’t have the required Bushels or can’t “adopt” any from a friend, this will help out anyone missing a few obscure Bushels for a Crafting Building Recipe.

In another Bushel upgrade, the storage capacity for Bushels has been increased to 100 Bushels.

You can adopt your very own White Tailed Buck for free from one of your FarmVille neighbors via the FaceBook newsfeed. Likewise if you find a White Tailed Buck on your farm, you cannot keep it for yourself but will be given the opportunity to post a newsfeed notice to share with your neighbors.

FarmVille has released some new Ribbon Achievements that work with the new Crafting Building feature.

Your participation in Crafting Buildings and the making, selling, and buying of Crafting Goods can now earn you new ribbon rewards that include the following achievements: Cunning Crafter, Super Seller, and Best Buyer.

Crafting Building Rewards and Requirements:

Cunning Crafter: Crafting Goods will earn you the Cunning Crafter Ribbon.
Super Seller: Selling your Crafting Goods will earn you a Super Seller Ribbon.
Best Buyer: Purchasing Crafting Goods from your FarmVille neighbors will earn you a Best Buyer Ribbon.

FarmVille Crop Heirloom Carrot

FarmVille released two new permanent seeds that include a Chickpea crop and Heirloom Carrot crop.

These seeds can be purchased in the FarmVille Market at any time as they are now permanent market fixtures.

Chickpea seeds are available to level 10 farmers and above. However, you must have already mastered Soybeans to unlock Chickpea seeds. The Chickpea seeds can be purchased for 80 coins and will take 20 hours to grow, when harvested it will yield 210 coins and 2 XP with a profit of 130 coins.

Heirloom Carrot seeds are available to level 57 farmers and above. However, you must have already mastered Carrots to unlock Heirloom Carrot seeds. Heirloom Carrots can be purchased for 110 coins and will take 12 hours to grow, when harvested it will yield 210 coins and 1 XP with a profit of 100 coins.

There is Crop Mastery available for both seeds. The requirements for each star level of Crop Mastery can be seen below.

Chickpea Crop Mastery:

Star 1: 400
Star 2: 800
Star 3: 120o
Total: 2,400

Heirloom Carrots Crop Mastery:

Star 1: 1,400
Star 2: 2,800
Star 3: 4,200
Total: 8,400

The video, FarmaritaVille, below is a fun FarmVille themed spoof of Jimmy Buffet’s MargaritaVille.

The video jokingly depicts some of the addictions and obsessions that many FarmVille Freaks face. Here is an excerpt from the opening lyrics:

“There’s just too much violence in the World of War Craft, and I can’t stand the guns in Mafia Wars, so I slip on my overalls and i log onto FaceBook. I want the feeling of working outside while I’m sitting indoors. So I’m wasting the day again in FarmaritaVille tryng to raise my Carrots and Corn. Some people claim that I’ve got no life at all, but at least its better than porn.”

My personal favorite line is, “Life is not about Carrots!”

FarmVille Pick Up Truck Seeder!

FarmVille announced via their official FaceBook Fan Page that the FarmVille Pick Up Truck Seeder would be coming soon to farms near you!

You may remember that earlier this month FarmVille polled farmers via the official FarmVille Forum and asked us to vote on what the next vehicle released should be.

We conducted the same poll at FarmVille Freak, and FarmVille Freaks also chose the Pick Up Truck as the next FarmVille Seeder with the most votes. Farmers have been requesting a Pick Up Truck for a long time now, as many feel that no real farm is complete without a Pick Up Truck.

Some of the other choices included in the poll were Fire Truck (second choice on FarmVille Freak), Trolley, and Dump Truck.

Other FarmVille Updates including One-Click Harvesting for Animal Buildings

Tonight’s FarmVille update featured lots of new limited edition New England themed items, new Mystery Game prizes and some other minor and less noticeable updates including the following:

Animal Buildings such as the Chicken Coop,Dairy Farm, Horse Stable and Nursery Barn now have one-click harvesting, just like other animals!
Goji Berry seeds are still available in the FarmVille Market, but have simply moved to another place. Usually the first item you see is Goji Berry seeds, now they can be found with other fruits.
The Email promotion of “Daily Fuel Boost” is now a regular feature.
More farmers should have access to the new Crafting Building feature.
