No, they haven’t been forgotten, White Asters are finally here! Flash back to a few months ago and you will remember that FarmVille made an announcement telling us that if the English Countryside Facebook Fan Page reached 2.5 million “likes” a special crop, ahem White Asters, would be released.

The goal was reached, but White Asters never graced us with their presence in the FarmVille Market until tonight!

White Asters will not be around forever, so start planting and harvesting to earn your mastery. The Limited Edition crop will only be available until JULY 13th 2011. However, enjoy it while you can as it boasts some pretty impressive stats with its short maturity time of only 4 hours until ready to harvest and a gain of 2 XP and 100 Farm Coins per plot.

You can purchase these Rams for either of your farms as they are not exclusive to the English Countryside. After your purchase you can view a Conga Line of your new ram’s offspring possibilities in your Sheep Pen.

There’s a new FarmVille Ram for you to breed with! The FarmVille Market just added the Ram (Masked) tonight. This Limited Edition English Countryside Ram like other Rams has a steep price tag at 30 Farm Cash, but will only be available for 11 days or until May 31, 2011. He is not exclusive to the English Countryside and can be purchased for either of your farms.

The releases of this Ram also means that any Masked sheep that you already possess on your farms are now “legal” breeders that will produce similar type offspring.

Along with tonight’s bi-weekly market updates of decorations, buildings, and trees, are two new Limited Edition English Countryside animals including a Hackney Horse and an English Goat.

The Hackney Horse can produce a Hackney Foal (as pictured above) when placed in your FarmVille Horse Stable. Historically, Hackney Horses which are very similar to Thoroughbreds, date back to the 14th century when the King of England asked specifically for horses to be bred for riding that met his expectations of being powerful and attractive with an exceptional trot. FarmVille has been enhanced! Tonight’s FarmVille updates include regularly scheduled releases of new Limited Edition English Countryside animals, decorations, buildings, and of course tonight’s new Mystery Game.

As far as animals, there is a new Exmoor Pony that produces an Exmoor Pony Foal when placed in your Horse Stable. The Exmoor Pony, dating as far back as 1086 is native to the British Isles and can still be found today roaming the moorland in a semi-feral (wild) state. However, the breed is in critical endangered status and as there are only around 800 living Exmoor Ponies. Read more about the breed on Wikipedia by clicking here.

There is also a Hereford Cow that will produce a Hereford Calf when placed in your FarmVille Dairy Farm building. Hereford cattle originated in the United Kingdom specifically in Herefordshire, England. Used mainly for its meat, the cow can be found in over 50 countries throughout the world.
