"I can't stop watching my crops!" – FarmVille Freak

It’s been one year of virtual farming for some of us original FarmVille farmers. One year is a considerably long time to play and a lot of dedication. If you are like FarmVille Freak SuzyQ you may feel like you’ve given some of the “best months of your life” to all that clicking that plowing, planting, and harvesting requires.

I can still remember
When I bought my first brown cow
I remember just how good the feeling was
when I proudly learned to plow..
And I played with friends a thousand times
Many I really didn’t know…
Thought I could beat this game & gonna be a star

I bought all the sheep & chickens
And I played right through the fall
I bought the pigs & barn, the tacky gifts – I tried to collect them all
And I sat by my computer
Winning every ribbon that they ever made
And I watched my levels grow,
And every glitch, lost my bits, & crops decayed

FarmVille I gave you
All the best months of my life
All the many hours & endless days & days
All the harvesting late at night
I was so busy on my computer clicking and cursing you
While you were changing your direction
I never even knew
That I was always one step behind you

And Summer’s almost here now
Well it came around so soon
But I was really making headway
Buying villas like a tycoon
And I must have played
To earn the wildest stuff ever been displayed
I have photos of my kids, but of my farm, I’ve more
I just thought I had it made

FarmVille I gave you
All the best months of my life
All the many hours & endless days & days
