In honor of Valentine’s Day, a new tree has been added to the FarmVille Market recently. The FarmVille Black Cherry Tree is a new Level 1, masterable tree.

The Level 1 Black Cherry Tree that was added to the Market a few nights ago, now grows into a Level 2 Giant Black Cherry Tree! Previously, the Black Cherry Tree used to produce Mystery Seedlings that grew up into Rainer Cherry Trees.
The FarmVille Black Cherry Tree will be avaialble in the FarmVille Market for the next 11 days, and the Giant Black Cherry Tree will be available for purchase for the next 14 days.

Many new Limited Edition Valentine’s Day decorations have made their way into the FarmVille Market tonight! However, these new Valentine’s decorations aren’t your typical lovey dovey covered in pink variety that we’ve been seeing as of late. Most of tonight’s new Limited Edition Valentine’s Day decorations such as these decorations celebrate anti-Valentine’s.
You may remember seeing most of these items in the latest edition of the Valentine’s Day Theme Showcase that FarmVille Freak did a post on. You may also remember the Black Rose Arch from the Halloween theme last year!

Continuing with the anti-Valentine’s Day theme, this house screams “Love doesn’t live here!”.

FarmVille’s Valentine’s Day Theme continues! Tonight’s update brings you two brand new Limited Edition animals – the FarmVille Black Cherry Horse and the FarmVille Skunk. You may notice that tonight FarmVille also introduced an anti-Valentine’s Day theme for Valentine’s Day and these new animals are part of that theme.
The good news for Horse breeders, the Black Cherry Horse will be able to produce Black Cherry Foals. You can place your Black Cherry Horse in the FarmVille Horse Stable with a Stallion of course and you may possibly produce a Black Cherry Foal. If you are in the opinion that love stinks, then a FarmVille Skunk is perfect for you to show your anti-Valentine’s Day cheer.
These animals will be available in the FarmVille Market only until February 28, 2011.

FarmVille introduced a new Valentine’s Day Countdown tonight! There will be 12 days of Valentine’s items to collect and 12 exclusive prizes. Each day features a new item of the day. If you collect all 12 days you will be rewarded with a special bonus prize.

Day 1 starts tonight and the first “Item of the Day” is the FarmVille I Love You Stand decoration. You can get your own by asking a friend for help which will post a Facebook news feed or you can also fulfill the requirement by clicking on one of your friend’s requests via the Facebook news feed. Each time you click on a friend’s Valentine”s Day Countdown request, you not only send your friend the item, but you will also receive one for yourself.

If you have some of the featured prizes from last year’s Valentine’s Day 2010, they will not count toward your Countdown fulfillment.
Note, this Countdown is slowly rolling out and not all farmers have access to it tonight.

FarmVille’s Model Farm has been updated with the latest Limited Edition items including Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year.
If you’d like to see all of these decorations, buildings, animals, and even trees and crops simply scroll to the end of your in-game neighbor’s list (far right) and click on the Model Farm icon. You will also notice that the Model Farm icon has been upgraded with Pink Gypsy Horse as its icon.
