A new Limited Edition crop, African Eggplants, arrived in the FarmVille Market tonight!

This crop is available to plant using Farm Coins and is also expected to be part of the new upcoming FarmVille Leaderboard Challenges that will come out on Wednesday, September 19th 2012.

You can grow African Eggplants on your farm during their limited availability. African Eggplants are ready to harvest in 10 hours. The seeds cost 38 Farm Coins per plot. It will yield 228 Farm Coins and 1XP  when harvested. There is also Crop Mastery available.

FarmVille is being quite sneaky lately, and without notice introduced a surprise Limited Edition Farm Coin crop, Cherokee Roses!

No pop-ups announcing its unexpected arrival, nor is it part of any of the current themes, but it’s a new crop to master and still better it won’t take you Farm Cash to grow it on your farm. However, it is expected to be part of an upcoming FarmVille Leaderboard Challenge.

Having trouble finding this crop in your FarmVille Market? Try keyword searching “Cherokee Rose”.

Cherokee Rose is a 2 day crop that costs 132 Farm Coins for seeds per plot and yields 300 Farm Coins when harvested along with 1XP. It also has Limited Edition availability meaning that you will only have the next 28 days to master it before it retires from the market.

A new Japanese themed limited edition crop was released today in FarmVille.

This limited edition crop does NOT have Crop Mastery available.

FarmVille Daikon Crop

Daikon seeds will be available to purchase in the FarmVille Market during the next 11 days only. Daikon seeds cost 65 coins take hours to grow and when harvested yield 133 coins and 1 XP with a profit of 68 coins.

Although Daikon, a raddish vegetable, has a Japanese name, it did not originate in Japan but rather Eastern Asia.
