The Country Fair is an upcoming feature where you will help Farmer Bob compete and earn yourself exclusive rewards. This is a collection type event where you will be able to unlock prizes for collecting supplies.

FarmVille & Bubble Safari Cross-Promotion

In a new cross-promotion between Zynga’s new game Bubble Safari and FarmVille, you can earn yourself free FarmVille Unwithers!

Here’s how it works, you’ll find the usual in-game billboard advertising this cross-promotion on your FarmVille farm. There’s also a chance you’ll receive an invitation to play from an in-game FarmVille pop-up. Clicking on either will take you to Bubble Safari. Just for trying it out and playing once, you’ll earn yourself 1 one free FarmVille Unwither. You can earn three additional Unwithers when you reach Region 2 and six more Unwither if you reach Region 4.

Zynga’s bingo-style game, Slingo, is offering FarmVille players 3 free FarmVille Unwithers when you try playing Slingo.

To access this offer, simply click on the Slingo Joker icon located on the right side of your in-game FarmVille play area. Then to get your free Unwithers all you have to do is play Slingo and complete 10 full boards. This is a fairly easy task to complete and of course every FarmVille Freak loves a free Unwither! Unwithers can be used to do just that- unwither any withered (dead) FarmVille crop by magically bringing it back to life and making it harvest-ready.

Yay! Who doesn’t love a good (and free) Unwither? It looks like the CastleVille Unwither will be part of a freebie from an upcoming FarmVille and CastleVille cross-promotion

As many of you may remember the FarmVille English Countryside Unwither Clock was released shortly after English Countryside premiered. A user could purchase the Unwither Clock for 55 $FV and would provide 30 days of wither protection. For some who purchased the clock the 30 days is now up and are being offered a time extension of 30 days more of wither protection for 45 $FV.

In the past farmers have been able to purchase wither protection by one and large upfront investment  of 250 $FV in an Unwither Ring. The Unwither Clock offers the same protection but will cost a farmer 45 $FV a month.

While unwither protection is very useful, it is often turned on by the Big Z for technical issues. Most recently unwither has been turned on for 4 consecutive days. Perhaps Z should refund players who made/make this monthly this investment and got the service free anyways ?

Will you be renewing your unwither protection in FarmVille English Countryside?

FarmVille has turned on the Unwither function for all farmers.

As technical glitches are worked out and resolved, Unwither protection will remain on and will end around 10 AM (PDT) tomorrow, July 28th 2010.

During Unwither your crops will not wither.

Unwither is currently enabled for every farmer while FarmVille works on some technical issues including out of sync errors and gifts.  Your crops will not wither during this period.
