I got the 4 first ones and luckily not the doves. The Ostrich is Male and he sticks his head in the ground hehe.

The Butterflies are BEAUTIFUL! I love them! Anyone who missed out on the hummingbirds will love them! Also the Macaw is very pretty, but the butterflies are way better.

I ended up with 3 macaws. I got 2 butterfly bushes which I am pretty pleased with since all the multi-colored butterflies fly all above the bushes. I got the ostrich and the white pea****. I am a little disappointed with the mourning doves since they are kind of small and are similar to the doves they had in the past.

yuckkk. i bought two of them and for the first one i got butterflies -____-” theyre actually okay, but i would never spend 16 fvc on them, but they are kinda pretty when they fly around
and the second one i got an ostrich. i actually wanted one, but when i saw it my first impression was that it was HIDEOUS. and it’s a MALE ostrich.. is that a hint that there is a female ostrich in the crate too? or that a female one is going to come into the market in the next few weeks?

I’m extremely pissed. i opened a bird mystery box and as i was opening it, the game went out of sync and i had to reload the page. when i reloaded, the 16 farm cash was gone and my ****ing animal was no where to be found! zynga better fix this or they have lost a long time player and many more to come if they keep practicing these shady business habits!

I wanted the butterflies, having missed out on the hummingbirds. I got an Ostrich, which is incredibly ugly. I have hidden him behind some trees so I don’t have to see him all the time. When trading starts (hopefully SOON) he’ll be the first thing to go. I’d like butterflies, hummingbirds or a koi pond.

Numba one – got the doves. they are slowly growing on me. they blend nicely with one of my set ups. However, what I’m really aiming for is the ostrich. I’ll try again tomorrow.

An ostrich would be cool, but I have ZERO interest in butterflies, mourning doves or macaws. Not worth the risk, especially since I got what I wanted most with the first one.

I got the butterflies and was surprised how good the graphics are with these. Also very colorful and constantly flying… love them… then got another and it was the white peaclock… wrote peaclock so the second half wouldn’t be censored, lol… it is ok but not as pretty as the blue ones but at least they harvest… Would love to have the ostrich… I think it is cute and putting head in the ground is the best. Would hate to get the mourning doves but then again, it is difficult to tell if they do something just from the pictures. Why do people keep asking for pictures? There is a picture of each here at farmfreak. You had to have seen them before you clicked on comments.

Oh i wasnt sure that we get repeats that often, i had an ostrich (not my favorite choice) then the ugly white pea****, i really wanted the marcow so i thought what the heck, already got the two that i dont want, cant get worse and then got the marcow. I really wanted the doves, missed them last time and i think they are so pretty. The marcow doesnt even fly, he just shakes himself and thats it, sad, i thought he would fly like the owels used to, man i regret not getting one of those, they should of putten them back in the box, heard lots of people wishing they had one. I have a neighbour she had a brown one and a white one.

If anyone whants a good neighbour with a pretty farm ( i have been told that very often, its not my opinion) feel free to add me. i love unique farms where you can see that neighbours are creative. I have different horses, almost all mystery animals and almost always buy the farmcash buildings. i play every day, fertilize and help where i can. doesnt matter if your farm is not played with money or not, important is that you play daily and are a good neighbour. i am not a fan of people stuffing dozens of animals in the corners and then all looks the same, why cant they be creative? make it look like a real farm, or town or just pretty,

I think that the Mystery Boxes should be available at two levels.
1. FV$8 for the limited items that just look pretty and,
2. FV$16 for the limited items which provide a return.
I was disappointed to have spent the last of my FV$ only to get a decoration.
But then again it’s pretty obvious that the creators are becoming a little greedy with over priced items.
Don’t they know that house and commercial prices have all taken a dive in the current economic market. (Personally I feel that the Mansion has always been overpriced for it’s appearance, especially when compared to the better looking estate at almost half the price).
Maybe they should offer a Coin for FV$ – $10million coin for FV$10, meaning people still need to play and sight advertising to collect the excessive coin amount, but still provide them with interest on the limited items.
And one last thing – it would be nice if limited time items stayed around longer perhaps at a slightly higher cost – sort of like a premium for a late purchase?

The previous “best of” chest i bought 3 and got 2 zen garden. Was pissed coz i already had dozen of those from eggs.
But this one is a winner~ i don’t mind having any of the 5 items. i bought 3.
1st a male ostrich. (love the animation)
2nd a macaw (doesn’t fly. would prefer it to move from side to side)
3rd the mourning dove. (animation’s just like peace dove)
Would like to have the butterfly though… love the animation. saw it on my neighbour’s farm.
personally, i think animal’s crates are the best. think i’m gonna stop buying the decoratives one.

i like the decorative items and animals cause honestly who really cares about 100 coins from a harvestable animal (i know i dont) crops do that 4 me, come on now its about the item it self, i love the doves and the butterflies and the macaw even tho he doesn’t seem to do anything same with the parrots but still, they r all great items to have(in my opinion)

I’m saving up my money for the dog. My thinking is that farmville will make it very expensive (FV Cash) so I’m saving up the money. I think none of the items in the mystery crate are worth 16 FV Cash, but hey, thats just my opinion. I saw a picture of a duckling…is that in the wings mystery box? I hope not because with my luck I will get the mourning doves -_-” (They make me sad, and think about death). Does anyone know ANYTHING about the duckling? When its coming?

Somehow I knew I will get the worst out of the lot.
I got the doves – such a rip off. They are soooo tiny. At least if they were bigger I would not mind so much. Next I got the macaw. And what I really wanted was the pea**** or the ostrich. Could have lived with the butterflies, too.
I think that since we are paying for this stuff, it should at least be worth it. It might not be the item you want but at least the items themselves should be worth something and visible when you put them on the farm.
I have to zoom in to see those darn doves.
I’m never buying another mystery box for sure. Last try I got 10 fuel refills so you see my dilemma here.
