FarmVille has updated the ability for Pink Haired Pony and Brown Pony to yield Foals!!!
Both FarmVille Ponies were exclusive limited edition animals that could only be purchased with farm cash.
FarmVille spokeman Channel Zero says,
“Pink Haired and Brown Ponies have a chance to produce Pony Foals when placed in a Horse Stable with a Stallion!”

Hey all.
Okay so i have a brown pony, a pinto horse, one of the permanent stallions (from the mystery box awhile back) and am planning on getting one of the new black horses. I think this is a good idea, however, I have several Kelly Green Cows and they haven’t produced a bonus let alone a calf. I put them in a diary farm, with no other types of cows, with a bull. It has been well over two weeks and not even one calf! The rare ones don’t produce very often and I don’t think that is right. The ponys and kelly green cows are rare anyway so why not spread wealth zynga and let our friends have more cute babies?

man what good news this morning, i have a pink pony, 2 percherons and one ugly pinto horse, i have all outside of my stable and everytime one gets ready i put them in, harvest and do that a few times daily to get babys.

I have all the horses and pink-haried pony! I wish Zynga lets us keep one of the foal or calf and share the others! They should be considerate on those who spend their real $$$ on this game! It would rock if I can keep my own foal and calf, that’ll make me a grandmother! LOL!

This is my problem. I would like to benefit from the rare animals that I buy too. I like giving to my friends but none of them have the same animals as I do. I have had two pink patch calves go to others and yet I still don’t have one. IT’S NOT FAIR!
I am beginning to feel like I should just leave all my rare animals outside because if I can’t benefit from the money I spend, why should anyone else. IT’S NOT FAIR!
I have made the suggestion before that twin animals could be born and that one could stay with the owner and one could be put up for adoption but that still hasn’t happened. IT’S NOT FAIR!
Zynga, make it worth my while to actually purchase these items or it just won’t happen any more.

I bought these parent animals because I thought I need them, whatsoever! FV$ or not, so shouldn’t I get the perks when it comes to these additional bonuses over someone who hardly cared about these when they got released! (Additionally I spent the money, not him)
Please Zynga fix this mistake!
And. it’d suck if the baby animals grow up to adults too….Whats the point in buying them! I’d have spent my money on wild animals, decos, and buildings!

Farmer Jen- that is absolutly correct, i have a pink pony, 2 percheron and a pinto, just dying to get foals, but what do i get for that? have to give them all away, missed the clydesdale as they had them and in my mystery box was a watermill and not the brown pony i wanted so i didnt buy more. i would love to have a few more neighbours who buy farmcash and trade cuz most of mine dont, then they adopt my things that i pay for and i get nothing, come on people its only fair to trade or wanna tradewith people who have these items also.

i am a daily player, level 61, try hard to get foals with putting in and out and adopting the stallion dozens of times daily, please only add me if you have a nice farm, not just everything being overstuffed, i like houses, space and creative looking farms that look worth while, not just stuffing everythng in one corner andhording tons of cows, chickens and what so ever, waant neighbours who love to play just like me, who trade fair foals and not just share the stupid things. I think everyone who pays cahs understands me even if he wouldnt post this here.
please remember that if i accept your request as neighbour and you mine its new that it takes a few days til we see each other in our neighbour list and can trade, the first day it always sais cant collect from your own animal???? heee?? who the heck created that, but have heard many complian about it, end of the story, we will see each other soon

@amber – when there is talk of having the foals or calves grow up, that it would be an option.
I think that zynga should bring back an opportunity to get a permanent stallion. I didn’t try to get one last time around, because it didn’t seem like it would be useful. Now that there is an obvious perk, it would be awesome to have a chance to get one again.

gosh, i wish farmville will allow us to either:
1) find and keep the baby animals for ourselves
2) find and keep the baby animals for ourselves AND allow neighbours to claim them
i kinda think that those animals that can produce babies are at our disadvantage one way or the other.
people who didn’t buy those animals can easily grab the babies and those who spent money on them can’t get the babies unless their neighbours bought them too.
it sucks cos it just does. at least let us have an option to keep it for ourselves or let our neighbours have it. wouldn’t it be awesome if you can own one and share with your friends too?
man i hate this feeling that we discover rare goodies and have to give it up reluctantly.

i have 25 horses, 17 grey horses, 10 clydesdales and 10 pink ponies…no foals though…
i always buy 10 of each limited farm animals but too bad the stallion and brown pony come from mystery boxes so i have none…
the pinto and percheron are not limited so im gonna buy them after i get my pay…so currently i have none as well…

I liked the idea that if you don’t have a Stallion in your stable, you will/might get the XP’s, Farmhand, or Arborist to share. I’ve had my White Stallion out of my stable for about 5 days now….20 regular horses (gray and brown) in the stable. And, still only “extra” coins when collecting. Sigh…..but, at least we have a chance to get the Farmhand and/or Arborist from redeeming the Easter…..ooooops…I mean “Spring” mystery Egg now.

I always leave all horses outside my stable, when one of the plain horses are ready put it in, just one, than all the special ones in(they are automatic ready then) then take the plain one out, be sure you have a stallion in there, harvest, i got a percheron bbaby that way. As i forgot one time and left the plain grey horse in, of course exactly that stupid grey one madea foal, always the plain ones out, always, its ok if only 2 or three, or my daughter only hade 1 percheron in the stable with the stallion and she got her percheron baby imidiatly. I am dying for a clydesdale, i thought they were ugly as i had the chance to buy them, now i am spending lots of farmcash on animals, i have all the horses exept the clydesdale and the brown pony, man the clydesdale was cheap too compared to the 20 that the others cost. I want more breeds for horses, waiting for very long. Who wants to add me can

I bought two special animals because I thought how cool it would be to be able to share with and surprise my friends with the special babies.
I knew fully well I wasn’t going to get a chance to adopt any myself but the happiness of being able to share with and surprise my friends and neighbours was enough for me. But then I know my neighbours are the types that would appreciate that gesture.

I’m looking for anyone who has the rare horses that produce the rare foals. I have two people added who produce rare foals, but haven’t been able to catch one! I have the Percheron (sp?) and Pinto from the market. Plan on buying more soon to put in stable to try and produce some rare foals as well.

Hi All,
I truly understand you breeders of rare foals! I think Zynga should put in that option to keep one and share one foal! I’m not in a position to spend farmville cash on rare horses (believe me, if I would have known they were coming, I would have saved from the leveling up!!) Anyways, I got another farm which I’m saving to buy a clydesdale and percheron. This will take another 12 levels and ofcourse breeding skills. In the meantime I would love to adopt one of your foals. I’m just affraid I don’t have anything in return YET. So..anyone who would want to trade one at this time with me, please add me. I couldn’t say how gratefull I would be! I’m a horselover…haha so yeah, I get all giggles to see these lovely rare ones! Not begging you tough! I truly understand you wouldn’t want to share with me.
