It’s a good night for FarmVille Arborists because the FarmVille Market was updated tonight with four new trees. These new trees include a Service Tree, Wild Service Tree, Giant Boom Tree, and Giant Gorse Tree.
Each tree does have Tree Mastery available. You can read the mastery requirements and rewards at the bottom of this post.
You can purchase these trees directly with Farm Cash via the FarmVille Market until June 20, 2011.

I don’t really care for giant trees or giant anythings on my farmville farm. Space is too valuable to me and giants are unsightly.

I guess if that’s the trend…. I’m done buying trees. I too am NOT a fan of giant trees. It’s kind of like saying ” We have no good ideas so we’ll just make a bigger version & hope they don’t notice.”.
The hike in prices this time around has me even questioning if I really need to spend money on this game anymore.

No way will I pay 10 fc for a level one tree. In fact, I will no longer pay 5 fc for a level one unless it is really special – and I have earned the fc.

Here’s a suggestion for Zynga … if they really read these, Let us be able to sell trees from inside the orchard. Having to move them out & place on farm SOMEWHERE & then click on them again to sell is VERY time consuming. It could work just like the gift box! TY ( with dbl mastery pts I’m ready to get rid of trees to make room for the new ones) I like these new trees but $10FC is too much. So will probably just buy the Service tree, whatever that is, & get seedlings from it . Ty for maintaining this site & congrats. on the baby turning 1.

They keep coming out with new trees, it seems every week. I guess because people are willing to pay for them, unlike new crops. I’d be happy to see a new crop every week or even every other week. But that’s right, Zynga knows that people won’t pay for crops, so its a waste for them to create new ones.
Its already a shame that all of the older trees that were giftable for free or available for coins were put into the market for farm cash. In some cases, the amounts were ridiculous. 20 farm cash for a pomegranate that used to be giftable. Really?
Now there’s a new tree or two it seems every week. For regular players that don’t rely on hacks or cheats, it becomes nearly impossible to keep up. And when we paid for regular sized versions, Zynga is really going to try and double dip us by making big or giant versions of the same item? Way too much. At this point, I’m done with trees.

The tree is not even worth 10 FV cash I mean look at it its just a normal looking tree now who is going to be a fool to pay for a dumb tree like that… that to 10FV cash when the cute level 1 tress cost half the rate…..We players must stop buying trees for FV cash and strike for trees for coins !

the hike in price is just ridiculous. At 5 FV$ I was willing to spring for two, at 7FV$ just one, but at 10? no, I think not. ok, I know that what I just said wasn’t logical (since two at 5 costs 10) but there comes a point where you just have to draw the line and say no. I think 10FV cash is it for me. I don’t want the mastery THAT bad

No one is forcing you to buy these trees.
I think its great that Zynga has the the variety – so that people can choose from several options. Do you want to burn down the grocery store simply because they offer two brands of lame potato chips instead of carrying the one all natural brand? Spend your hateful time elsewhere.

I agree shelley, the extra price on the giant level one is just silly, just like it seems they screwed up making the chrome apple have chrome cherry offspring when logically it should have been the giant offspring and the smalls as level 1s.

I’m pissed off. I bought a Boom tree thinking I didn’t have it, but I guess the Gorse tree in the orchard already produces Boom tree as a seed so I wasted 10 FV cash. So I’m thinking, how can I get it to produce Gorse tree seeds? I go to another site that said if you buy the Giant Gorse seed, it’ll produce Giant Gorse seeds (I like 5 of every tree) and LIES, it produces Giant Boom tree. So I wasted 15 FV cash on trees I already had.

Ok just so everyone is clear level one trees always cost less then the level two trees.. And level one trees produce level two trees so i always buy one or two of the level 1 and make my own dang level 2 trees… hope this helps… If you think the pricing is not correct of what i said before buying a tree look in your mastery box … click the ribbon and go to the stars and then click on the tree tab and find the tree your looking for and see what tree makes what ….

Right come on Zynga we need more free farmcash! more items for coins because there is no point in spending money and some flaming farmcash! and i am NOT oh and 30 farmcash for a flipping bubblegum tree? that’s a ripoff i could get it at a carboot sale for 3 quid!
