FarmVille: Zynga is Removing Excess Chickens and Ending Multiple Coops!!!

Zynga will be removing all excess Chickens and Chicken Coops attained through various past glitches or in-game errors!
They claim that having multiple Chicken Coops and thus the ability to yield multiple Mystery Eggs violates their policy because it not only hurts the stability of the game, it also disrupts the “FarmVille economy”. Farmers in violation of the One Chicken Coop rule will be given the chance to salvage which Chickens they want as Zynga is moving excess Chickens to your FarmVille Gift Box.
Over the next few days they will be addressing this issue and afterward any user who obtains multiple coops via hacks or cheats may face consequences. Users are already reporting the deletion of multiple coops.
They are also encouraging other narcs players to report their fellow FarmVille neighbors who violate the multiple chicken coop rule.
The official word from Zynga spokeswoman Lexilicious:
“Hey Farmers,
When the Chicken Coop feature was initially released, it was not intended for users to be able to have more than one chicken coop per farm.
Due to various glitches and bugs in the past few weeks, certain users were able to place multiple chicken coops on their farms, which is a violation of FarmVille policy.
In order to rectify this situation, the FarmVille team has removed all excess Chicken Coops. This means that all users who are in possession of more than one Chicken Coop will be affected by this release.
To ensure our players are not overly inconvenienced by this change, all chickens that are in excess coops will be placed in your Gift Box. If you have more than 30 Chickens in multiple coops, your gift box will expand to accommodate all of them. This should ensure that you do not lose any chickens that are housed in excess coops.
In addition to this, we will leave the most valuable Chicken Coop on your farm. For example: if you are in possession of two chicken coops, one will be removed. If one Coop has 20 chickens and the other Coop has 3, we will leave the coop with 20 chickens on your farm.
This update will be completed in stages over the next few days, as it is a fairly complicated fix. This means that certain users will lose their additional coops before others.
We understand that many of our players enjoy having multiple Chicken Coops, however allowing this is something that threatens the stability of FarmVille. Having multiple coops increases the chances of producing Mystery Eggs. Having too many Mystery Eggs present in the FarmVille economy can unbalance the game. To ensure the health and longevity of FarmVille, we must limit the number of Chicken Coops to one per user.
After this release, being in possession of multiple Chicken Coops may result in consequences, as additional coops can only be obtained via cheating or hacking. If you would like to report a user for having multiple coops, please feel free to contact Zynga Customer Support.”
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion these glitches may have caused you and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work through the Beta process.”

I honestly do believe this is fair. They’re bein quite nice to move excess chickens to the gift box, and to leave the coop that has the most chickens.

I hope at least they would have the expand option for the coups, i have multiple coups (4 of them) and just because I have about 200 chickens, and since they were so valuable before I didn’t want to sell them all or occupy my farm.
I think it is good though because now maybe the gold chickens can yield something cool again!!!! because small pond and flag were not at all “treasured”
Btw, I have noticed when more people feed my chicken i get no mystery eggs, but when they are unfed I get mystery eggs, what is up with that? have anyone else noticed that?
And i heard people saying there are new prizes in the eggs? Any info on that?

Great. They’ve needed to do this forever. I don’t like it at all that the playing field hasn’t been level for quite some time when it comes to chickens. I don’t like it at all people having more than around 5, the people with 10+ seem to be on the cheating side of things. I’ve had to sell 100s and 100s of chickens because I don’t have room nor do I want to harvest 100s of chickens a day one by one. As far as the mystery eggs go, unless the new gifts are much better than the last batch, I don’t really even care about them anymore. I only want the gold gnome because it sells for 1,000 but really I have enough coins as is. They are being very kind with the way they are doing this, letting the cheaters get off scott free. It’s good to see Zynga doing some productive for once…

Lame. If a person was smart enough to figure the glitches out, or took the time to research info on how to use the glitches to their advantage, Zynga should just let them keep their extra coops. As for the “FarmVille economy,” people with extra coops haven’t been getting extra eggs lately, and the prizes have been pretty stupid.

I would like to say that many of us did not get our coops by cheating or using a bug, when the mystery eggs started I had an empty gift box and had planted a three day crop. I had about 2 dozen chickens, and so I was just clicking on the mystery eggs, and about a day and a half later I went onto my farm and I had 10 coops. I didn’t know that you need to buy a coop meant that I was being given one!!! and at the time, I didn’t pay attention to the fact that they had a limit of one coop. I know that this is how many people got 2 or 3 or 5 coops. We are not cheaters or hackers. at least we are not loosing our chickens. and just for the information, out ofte ten coops, I get one mystery egg a day. One. when I had one coop I got one a day, because I had it full of gold eggs. I guess maybe the people who have 30 coops full of gold chickens produce more, but how many of them can there be??

It was not cheating, they made the glitch, i didn’t read of techniques doing it, it was in my gift box, and i placed them, i never check the zynga forum and i doubt alot of people do to know it was against their rules, i heard it was not allowed only here, so I don’t consider myself being a cheater,
They have removed my coops now, and i had 80 gold chicks instead they put 40 in my box instead of 60 and gave 14 blacks instead, I don’t really care for that because i was going to sell them all anyway, no points i have chickens if i can’t harvest them all at once,

I received 4 extra coops by accident (a fortunate accident as it turned out) when I expanded my storage – that is not cheating! Why do people assume that you are a cheater because you have more than one coop?

I have 7 coops…and still only get one mystery egg every now and then. it wasnt my fault that i got more then one coop. it was in the right spot when i expanded my farm and when i re-did my farm and moved it they just kept comming! its cool that theyre going to let me keep my chickens but without a place to put them its a waist of time. they awards for eggs are going to have to be outrageous for me to start caring again because with this and all the other technical issues its just rediculous.

I think this is bull as well. People with multiple coops USED to get you more eggs. Now I get no more than one egg no matter what. And getting multiple eggs could be achieved before with only ONE coop as well but changing around the chickens. I am
p!$$ed. I only like them because I can store some of my 300 gold chickens. I sold all the other colors because I had too many. It is THEIR fault that every time I completed an expansion that another coop appeared underneath the current one.
And as someone else said, I would put money on the fact that after they remove all the extras they will offer more than one for FC or some other pain in the arse way. I thought they originally said they wouldn’t take away coops from the newest glitch. They might as well take all those chickens too since there is NO WAY I am harvesting 300 chickens by hand every day.
Again, you don’t get more than one egg a day anymore (well, it might be possible but I’ve never seen any one do it in the last 2 weeks or so. Not to mention the prizes are crap except for fuel which I haven’t even seen yet). One egg a day can easily be done with only one coop.
Too many whine asses complaining because they were too stupid to do a quick google search to find out how to do it. And honestly, the only good it does me is gives me extra storage… f’in rats. Stop being a poor sport and ratting out your neighbors. Keep in mind that it does not effect YOU in ANY way. If anything it benefitted you when you could get a bunch of eggs in one day (even though, once again, that could be done with only one coop)

I would be PISSED if they would take away my coops. I have 7 chickencoops and that was NO cheet or anything like that. I just moved it because i thought i put a chicken behind it instead of inside, and there was another one stanig under the first one. In the beginning i got 4 mistery eggs a day, Zynga allready fixed that. Now i get one mistery egg each day. So who am i harming? It’s just easier to collect eggs. I don’t have to collect each chicken seperate but i can harvest 20 chickens in one time. The only farmville economy is the FV cash farmers buy.

I think they should try to fix the BAD glitches first, i.e.: I cannot get any “claim it” rewards from friends like an Eiffel tower, fountain, love ewe, etc. it just directs me straight to my farm. and my feed is hours old, when i know new things have been posted, and when they enhanced farmville tonight and made me refresh, i lost all the crops i plowed, and seeded. which is about 400, so i had to redo that all over again. FIX THAT BEFORE YOU GREEDILY FIX THE CHICKEN COOP GLITCH YOU SELFISH MORONS.

I moved my chicken coop and it started dropping coops, and than I couldn’t get rid of them. I just left my coop right where I dropped it. I figured it would be fixed the next day, I ended up with 5 coops. I did not create the glitch and was not trying to exploit it. Zynga has screwed people in the past. I for one will not spend one dime on this game. All those crying would be singing a different tune, if it had happened to them. Automatically you are a cheater, I have no problem deleting this app, I enjoy it, but I can and will delete it.Maybe they should try out, with a few farms and see what the glitches are and fix them, before subjecting us to this kind of crap. My chickens do not produce golden eggs often, and it’s only one, in which I do not get whatever is inside. I really could care less about the chickens. I sell every chicken I get and if Zynga does take my coops, than they can take the chickens as well!

awesome! think it’s so funny that the glitch was posted everywhere on this site and all of the posts said “thanks! it worked!” now the story is “whaaaa – i had noooo idea i was getting a second coop – it just magically appeared!” i’m sure that’s true in some cases – but i know for a fact it wasn’t true in most. more times than not, those people did exactly what they were told to do to get those extra coops to “magically” appear. if you got them totally by accident – then it should be NO PROBLEM that they’re taking them away – just consider yourself lucky that you got a month’s worth of coins from chickens that you didn’t have to spend all of your time clicking on and quit crying! yes, it wasn’t fair. i have all gold chicks and i get one egg every three or four days – i click on all my other chickens. i’ve sold all but my gold ones because they took up room and weren’t worth it. guess what? i ended up with a second coop and sold it because i knew it was against the rules – i’m lvl 56 and there because i put the time in – NOT because i take advantage of flukes. YES – it does give people an advantage to have more than one coop! they can take care of their lives (i hope everyone who plays this game has one) and still (because it takes such less time and a tad less farm space) harvest the chickens – which yeild coins, and you can use those coins to buy things which give you xp! i have two villas (in storage) gained because i *click* *click* *click* – so quit being babies and get to *click*ing!

this is so stupid, i mean – i havent cheated to get more than one chicken coop – it was suddenly therer when i expanded my barns. it wasnt my mistake at all!! so now zynga wants to punish me for “cheating” when it was their mistake cause they havent programed their game right? ridiculous – and even more ridiculous that people complained about it, they are jealous, thats all!!!

My problem with this is that Zynga is making a fortune off just the beta version of this game. The maximum price one pays for the most graphically advanced video game for Playstation, Xbox or Wii is around $60. I’m extremely conservative with buying the FV cash & I’ve given them over $50 already. Many of my friends have spent far more than what I have, well over $100 each, almost twice what one would pay for a completely developed “real” computer or video game. I shudder to think what the teenagers with free use of daddy’s credit card have spent. Fix the glitch by all means just as they have the cloning glitch in Yoville, but leave the coops already in place just as they have the massively expanded rooms on Yoville. Nobody’s really making any “profit” off the extras anyway. Having more than one chicken coop will not “upset the FV ecomomy”, it means that Zynga won’t be able to capitalize as much on future plans to sell coops for FV cash. What a crock of Zynga greed.

So they FINALLY tweaked to the fact that some (read a LOT) of people have more than one coop? And they are going to remove all but one. Well, I admit I have 3 (did have 6 but sold 3 as felt a little guilty). They appeared out of nowhere one day when I was moving stuff around on my farm (guess I was a frustrated decorator in a past life as I have rearranged my farm numerous times lol). Oh well, if they take the extras, they take the extras …. nice they will leave the chickens in your gift box though. It will be interesting to see how far they expand the gift box as one of my friends has 100 coops and they are ALL FULL !!.
While they are doing that, it would be sure nice if THEY COULD FIX THE BLOODY PROBLEMS that have plagued us in last month or so – like constantly getting “out of sync” messages, particularly when trying to fertilize! Just my bitchin’ for the day folks.

i “produced” about 10 golden eggs every day with ONE chicken coop. then i got 2 more by moving it (i’m so sorry zynga, i MOVED an item! -sarcasm). and know i get punished because zynga doesn’t care about the 1000 glitches and bugs?! and i never ever got more than 1 golden egg when i harvested my 3 coops… that’s bull****! i gonna delete 2 before they mess up my whole farm…

it really never bothered me either way if people had more than one coop. But I suppose in all fairness its good that they are removing one, esp if it causes glitches. And I just HOPE they make us able to extend the animal buildings soon. Like the stable, dairy and coop…

This is excellent news.
I found a family of cheaters who were in the multiple coop, eggs for themselves business. Most of them were not raising any crops and they were grabbing everything off the feed. No gifting, no fertilizing, just stealing for their own benefit. Selfish, not neighborly.

I have two coops and didn’t get the second by cheating!
When I rearranged my Farm and moved my existing coop the second one was hiding underneath. Not only do I not cheat but I spend money with Zynga on several of their games.So, they make plenty of cash out of me and others like me to pay the programmers to fix the bugs in their games which apparently cause these problems in the first place!
Incidentally I get one special egg about every four or five days, I don’t really think that would damage Zynga’s economy!

Wow, what a bunch of haters. It’s entertaining to see all of your comments bleeding jealousy. I have 70 chicken coops. In the past, I used these coops to yield many golden eggs for my many neighbors, and we really had a great time with them. Now, one egg gets produced daily and the rest coins. Being unable to produce multiple eggs daily has already been stripped away making the coops almost useless, (with 70 I do get a substantial amount of gold which ain’t too shabby) so I really don’t see how this is affecting the ‘FarmVille economy’ at all. Treasured golden mystery eggs were a facet of the game that surpassed all in fun and excitement; this is just another step away from that and isn’t that what it’s all about…fun and excitement? Looks like a bunch of pissy, old women complained about something that affected them or the game in no way but to make it better. I dedicated a lot of space on my farm and many, many days worth of hours getting carpel tunnel to make other people happy. It wasn’t just receiving an item that brought joy, but more the act of scrambling to hatch an egg. I made a lot of good friends because of multiple coops and made tons of people enjoy the game more than they ever had before. We will find more ways to (here’s where you haters say ‘cheat’) ENHANCE EVERYONE’S EXPERIENCE. I’m level 70 and have accomplished just about everything. I play this game to make other people have more fun, and that’s what the rest are doing, too. I, and this is just my own PERSONAL opinion, think that all you WHINERS out there that have multiple coops and are pi$$ed about them being removed are being rediculous. You can say all you want that you “didn’t know it was against the rules” but there are a lot of us that will cry bull$hit. If you have ever been to the market, and I’m sure you all have, you would have seen in big red letters, LOCKED, LIMIT 1. Helloooooo…..does that not scream, against the rules? Any moron knows that if it happens, even by accident/glitch/cheating, and you KEEP it, you are, in fact breaking the rules. So quit yer whining and be happy they are letting you keep the dang chickens.

Maybe they are getting rid of all these shifty coded coops on every ones farm because they are planning to do that chicken coop expansion that was posted here. They should at least let you have coops for each type of chicken that is available, like they did with the cows. However they keep adding new cows so who knows.

Yeah seems like a lot of bitching and moaning from people that have greatly profited from this glitch. I don’t mind the people that got there’s from the expansion glitch and all that, but I have to say that those cases were it was totally innocent have to be somewhat remote. Hell, the reason I found this site in the first place is when they posted the video to show you how to get the second chicken coop. If I remember right, the steps you had to take to get one would seem that it wouldn’t happen very often by accident. Seems you had to have your coop in the upper right hand corner, expand your storage, then move your coop. All in that order, seems that wouldn’t happen over and over again. I’m not going to call a bunch of people on here liars because I really don’t have enough information to call out anyone. I’m just saying it seems like a child has been caught red handed and is trying to say they didn’t do it.
I understand that it isn’t great to be called a cheater and all that. The post above has a great point though, it says in the market that you can only have one, so the excuse that you didn’t know it was against the rules has to be bogus. One can’t deny the benefits of having more than one coop. I’ve wanted another one myself because Zynga is dragging their feet on the animal building expansions. I would say that currently I sell at least 10-20 golden chicken a day because I don’t have a coop to put them in. So that alone cost me about 1,200 coins or so a day. Times that by the amount of time other’s have had chickens harvesting and you see how the “economy” can be screwed up.
It seems to be the fad of the month to act like Znyga is some money grubbing asshole that cares nothing about the fans. It’s also been chic to threaten to leave the game over every little issue that we have. I don’t know if it’s the nature of the fans of this game, a sorta obsessive & reclusive bunch of people. To threaten to sue a company over such matter is completely insane. I can’t even get into the many reasons why this is such a stupid thing to say. All I hear in this place is how they need to fix the glitches, how all the bugs are killing the game. What do you think they are doing now? Don’t you remember why the feeding chickens feature locked most of us out of our farm? Don’t you realize how the quality of the mystery eggs has gone downhill since this glitch was, and I don’t balk from this statement, taken advantage of. They are fixing this issue right now and I think they are being fairly pleasant about the entire thing. If you are complaining about losing chicken or coops or whatever you wish to vent on. Consider the advantages you’ve had over regular farmers. The coins that you got that can’t be earned at the level that one with several coops can. The whole economy issue is that each and ever person should play on a level field. If one is earning coins that is impossible for the average player to get, then really the value of the items you pay is less than what the actual price is. I’m saying the “work” you put into earning coins. It’s the same issue with inflation that we deal with in the States. The more currency that is out there the value of it drops. I’m aware that there isn’t a real economy feature made into the game, but I’m just stating the importance of everyone playing the same game. This is a glitch, if you got your coop from a glitch, you’re lucky, they are merely fixing this glitch now. If one has a problem with a developer fixing issues that there game has then you should go play a game that sucks. I recommend Rollercoaster Kingdom or Cafe World. They seem to have all kinds of issues that never get fixes, so one can have a field day with this.

This is fair. BUT they really should release another kind of Chicken coops that could NOT make eggs and with no limit. Just so we could harvest more chickens without cliking on each of them. OR make the possible number of chickens in a coop VERY big.
I’m just tired of harvesting all chickens one by one…..
Or maybe they should do like this:
Make the number of coops unlimeted, BUT give us ONE rooster with limit of 1. Then we could place the rooster in a coop and only this coop would give eggs. Don’t know ecxactly how it should work, but i’m sure zynga could figure out something

Ha Ha..I SOLD all my excess coops..chickens and all. Might not get to keep the coops but at least I made 650 coin off each one. The only reason I liked the extra coops was because you mostly end up with chickens from their silly eggs..and who has 27 hours a day to click on THOUSANDS of individual ready chickens??? At least with multiple coops you could collect from them efficiently. I will no longer be keeping any chickens I win on the eggs…so lets hope they give away better prizes in the eggs and REDUCE the number of chickens!! I think everyone is chickened out..there is a chicken GLUT in Farmville!!!

I am one of the multiple coop owners and I just want to say something to the people who think it is unfair that we have them. Before they changed the ratio of eggs we were getting I was posting a minimum of 20 Eggs per day to the wall. That is 20 eggs at 5 gifts each, so 100 people benefited from those eggs while I didn’t, okay.. I did get coins, but big deal when I already have millions. Yes, I have multiple coops, but it is my friends and neighbors who got the prizes from those, not me.
Now I had 10 coops and sold 6 of them when they changed how many eggs we were getting and will be selling my extra 3 a little later on today. I am not whining or bitching about losing my coops, rules are rules. I obtained them the same way thousands of other people did. I am not a hacker, if people want to call it cheating, so be it. I only did what the game ALLOWED me to do, whether that was a glitch or not is not up to me to decide. I was able to do it and I did it. Nothing more to it than that.
But I do not appreciate the name calling going on here. Ridiculous way to behave over a game!

Eric…you have said alot…and you are spot on. I knew how to get the second and third coops and the glitch did occur on my farm….but if you set the new coop right back on the ghosty one….they meshed back together…problem solved, I lived with one coop and got tons of eggs. Then they removed the reload egg bounty and gave eggs for neighbors chickens. Neighbors have Many coops and it is annoying they were getting 5-10 eggs for no work….but they do ban people who use the cheats from time to time and I decided not to do it. Now if they ever opened it up….I still have two coops in my pending gift box…maybe if it doesnt expire…and if the gift accept feature happens to be working that day.
I don’t play to level up as fast as possible…its fun.
I don’t understand why people would sell chickens for 20 little coins…that’s stupid. you can fit 9 chickens on the space it takes for one farm plot….at 64 coins each….what crop out there gives you that return? You don’t like clicking them? Are you the same people who have 700 cherry trees stacked around the outside edge….or the racks of sheep at 45 coins……you bet i have room for chickens…..even a brown one gives 16 coins each day…or sell it once for 20?????? I even have fun with the pink teardrop thing….stripes and shapes by choosing which ones to harvest.
I am not telling you how to run your farm….i just think the leveluppers are missing a whole lot of the game….spend the time playing instead of shortcut hunting.
I do love the info here….but people thinking they should sue because zynga says, hey some of them don’t deserve to be banned and we don’t want to punish anyone who got this by accident……..Lets offer this solution to the cheaters as well as the glitchers……the cheaters will feel lucky….and the glitchers have had a few bonus weeks of ease…….

that’s exactly what I was trying to say – you just said it much better. be prepared – you’re going to get a lot of responses about how you’re just jealous or a “hater” because people don’t like to listen to logic if it goes against their point of view. it’s super nice zynga is letting everyone keep their chickens and i’m not sure why more people aren’t just happy they had weeks of racking in the coins from their multiple coops without having to spend all the time harvesting each. when this game started, they didn’t even have coops.

what i said was: it does give people an advantage to have more than one coop! they can take care of their lives (i hope everyone who plays this game has one) and still (because it takes such less time and a tad less farm space) harvest the chickens – i didn’t say anyone on here should “get a life”. we’re all on here because we really like this game. hence the name “farmville freak”. i have two villas because that’s a great way to spend my coins (which i put a lot of time into by clicking all those chickens and such) and the villas give you lots of xp.
my point was, if you have many coops then you don’t have to spend nearly as much time earning those coins which you can use to buy things that give you xp – moving you up in the game much faster than the people who play by the rules.
and i don’t see how i’m a hater or jealous when (if you read my whole post) you’d know i was one of the few who actually did “happen” upon an extra coop unintentionally – and got rid of it because EVERYONE KNOWS YOU’RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO HAVE ONE COOP!
it would just be nice if everyone was happy and just thought, “you know, there was once a time farmville didn’t have coops at all! but then they did and we were only supposed to have one but i ended up with a lot of them and it was nice while it lasted – but now it’s back to playing the game the way it was intended – you know, the way it was when i got hooked on this game in the first place.”

Sweetie…..There are some who have 30, 50 or more coops. Now if you realise they have offered you a dandy little egg bonus when you harvest….up to five times what your chickens harvest at…..lets just say you get that on each of say 10 coops…1280coins + 6400 = 7680…for each coop….x 10 = 76,800 now some have 100…that is 768,000per day. You would hit level 70 in about 3 weeks just buying the big ole mansion and deleting it. That is what it means by messes up the economy of the game. Its not a plot against you…

Very interesting….first Zynga said no one would be penalized (or called a cheater) with multiple coops due to their glitch! Now, all of a sudden we are cheaters….actually other than harvesting more chickens, we do not benefit from the eggs we might produce (I have 3 coops and once in awhile 1 hatches a mystery egg). Since we are in reality Not competeing with anyone..what is the harm? I have yet to be able to open one of my own eggs!!! Instead of taking them all away, why don’t they allow everyone to have several (not 12 or more) coops unless someone wants to pay for 12 or more coops! Instead they will at some point offer expanding the coop much to all our distress. After all: no one is winning REAL $$$!!

I’m glad of this. It’s not fair that some people found a glitch and have 30 coops while others have to play by the rules. It is cheating and that is not fair! I have to harvest all of my 200 chickens by clicking each one, and this levels the playing field a little. Nice of them to let cheaters keep their chickens too. BTW, no you can’t sue Zynga for anything (it’s a game dumbass!) You can’t even sue over items purchased with FV cash… did i mention that it’s a game dumbass!!! Get a damned grip!!!

Taking away the extra chicken coops was understandable, I knew it was short lived BUT I am not happy at ALL about placing the chicken in the gift box. I has purchased the valentines mystery boxes, 4 in total and Zynga bumped ALL of my gifts even the purchaced ones out. THAT is NOT fair! From this day forward there will no longer be a single cent spent on this game from me. I am waiting for a response from Zynga and i`m sure that they will have some excuse. VERY DISSAPOINTED in whom ever decided that was going to be ok.

Folks, please RE-READ the announcement. No where does it call anyone who currently has multiple coops a cheat. It says “after this release…additional coops can only be obtained via cheating or hacking”.
In other words, people may have multiple coops and it could be by a glitch, but they are fixing the glitch. After this is all fixed, then the only way will be due to cheating or hacking.

I love the responders thinking they got their 2 or more coops by accident or glitch (saying hackers were cheaters). You knew that FV limited your CC to 1 and yet you kept the extra. Stop being so Pius and admit to all here, you knew you did wrong.
I already am making room for the 20 extra birds on my farm. I am hoping that I do not have to collect eggs from an additional 20 chickens for long and CC expansion is coming sooner than soon!!!

Never had more than one coop, and I didn’t try the glitch…I knew that more than one coop was not allowed, and was not willing to risk anything happening for having more than one…I have several chickens outside my coop, and I manually click them all…sure, it’s a pain, but I’m willing to wait for Zynga to allow us to have multiple coops…
People exploited the glitch by having half a dozen or so coops…that’s unfair to those who actually play by the rules, which state that you can only have one coop…since people had more than one, it’s against the rules, which means it’s cheating.
Having more than one gives you the chance of getting more Mystery Eggs, and ease harvesting your chickens, but that doesn’t mean that people should have more than one coop if they can glitch the system to have more than one.
Those who say that the ones who are saying this is fair are those who did not use the glitch, and the one’s who are complaining are mostly those who have more than one–they’re right. Obviously, people get something, and are unwilling to relinquish it. To those who will be losing coops, suck it up, you were not supposed to have those extra coops in the first place, and now you’ll need to click all of your chickens to harvest them…like the rest of us.

Glad I at least got to harvest my chickens one last time before the coops disappeared (deleted 10 minutes later). Don’t have the time to individual chickens, so guess I’ll sell them all and re-collect if they expand the coops in the future.

ive been playing this game for quite some time now, and ive spent a nice amount of money on farmville dollars, especially for ‘they of mystery’ and i also worked my ass off to get my 35 coops and fill them with 700 golden chickens. its not an easy feat to accomplish. if zynga can remove my coops without a care in the world, that means they can do whatever they please, which in turn, doesnt please me. SOOO, my fellow farmers, its been a good run, im sure we all had lots of fun, but thats it for me. after logging in and seeing all my hard work GONE, im done. this company doesnt deserve the money i have been giving to them, as i dont deserve my hard work being deleted. obviously multiple eggs are not the problem, since a single farm cannot produce more than one every 24 hours. If your lawyer works on a contingency fee, do they get 3,000 of your coins? had multiple chicken coups because of some glitch, didnt even know there were saying only one allowed. – removed them to please makers of game – but think game makers should fix glitches in game rather then complain because people may have benefitted from having one too many dam coups – for instance fix the “saving browser” issue, or fix the “losing gifts” issue or fix the “going directly to farm instead of receiving reward ” issue etc.

This really pisses me off! I got an extra dairy because of the glitch they had too. Am I going to be in trouble for that and get my farm deleted?? I’ve been spending about $40 for both my son and I on FV bucks for our farms. I just blocked the app and I’ve now hidden the posts on facebook. Zynga is so greedy!!! Think about it people if they raised as much money as they did for Haiti just imagine what they are bringing in a year for themselves. They donated OUR money for Haiti, you didn’t see them matching the funds raised did you?
Now this chicken coop thing. Here’s what it’s all about. The mystery eggs were giving people too much that we could have been shelling out real money for. The “FarmVille Economy” is their pocket. I’ve been wasting too much time and money on this game anyway.
They don’t have to take things away from me or threaten me I can leave on my own!!! You hear that Zynga? You’re pissing people off! We can live without you game!

I had mine taken away (I had 34 coops) and they only left me with 1 coop and 44 gold chickens when I know for a fact that I had about 300.. I think Zynga cares more about us paying real money then anything else.
I will never pay real money for Farmville!!!

I for one will go as far as to say I am SICK of Zynga, they flat out lied when they said they wouldn’t take the extra coops away. I did not cheat, I got mine by accident and I have 3, I didn’t take advantage (I got more and deleted them), I don’t get any extra eggs out of them, but it’s nice to have a place to store my chickens. To me it seems like FV has turned into a money racket, just look in the market at the Valentine day themed items, there are 2 that you can buy with coins, the rest take real money. That is just pathetic! I have spent no telling how much money on this game, but no more. The thing is I didn’t mind spending to support something I enjoyed but I don’t enjoy it anymore. I know they need money to keep developing and further the game, but at the same time it’s all about money now. It’s really not that I mind that they are taking the coops away, it’s that they flat out lied, so how can we trust anything they ever tell us again. You would think after the whole screw up with the Spumpkins they’d be very careful not to lose more players, oh well maybe it’s time to find a new game. I think the fairest thing would be to of just let everyone have a limit 5 like the Dairy Farms, at least 3. I know some people are glad about this, but take this into consideration if you had accidentally got more than one and they told you that you could keep it and then they took it away you’d be mad too, especially if you had been giving them money to support their game. Not everyone is a cheater either and I am about sick of hearing that excuse. Just because you weren’t able to get one when they had this glitch doesn’t mean we are all cheaters. Was it fair to the ones that didn’t get one? No it really was not, but hating on the ones that did isn’t nice either. The whole point is that Zynga lied, that is nothing to celebrate about because one day it may be you in the situation and you would want someone to support you instead of saying you got what you deserved.

Letty, one of the first times i bought FV$, something happened where it spend them all, PLUS it took what i didnt have, i was actually sitting there with NEGATIVE FV$. believe it or not but they compensated me, and since they did, i gave them the benefit of the doubt, and continued spending my money with them. id rather have negative FV$ than to know ive spent all that time getting coops, collecting chickens, and coming home early to harvest them in vain. this isnt the first time zynga has pissed me off, but this IS the first time they pissed me off enough to quit alltogether. so like i said, any of you who wants to buy this account, im sure im already your friend on facebook, so hit me up and we’ll see if we can make a deal. i am DONE!

Grrrrrr……I had 31 coops…and I was actually looking forward to hitting LEVEL 70 within a couple weeks…so I could stop being so addicted…this is crappy…sure I did everything I could to maximize the glitch..and so did a very select few of my friends….I hope Zynga realizes that some of their most hardcore players are gonna be pissed….level playing field…my butt- it’s a game….let the die hard players who read forums all the time and pay attention to ALL the internet info take advantage and play hard core..and let the ppl who are happy just doing day to day ladeda tasks go at their own pace as well….
If they take away my 1857 tanks of fuel…or mess around with anything else…there will be war

If I get in trouble for having the extra 2 coops after all the money I have invested in this game I will be looking for a lawyer and that is just the truth, I am not even sure how much money I have poured into this game but it would be easy to check b/c I paid with Paypal. I don’t care if they take my coops away, they only yielded 1 egg a day and that goes to neighbors not me. The only thing the coops did for me was give me extra storage for the chickens but I can just sell the extra chickens, I sure am not gonna harvest them all. Like someone else stated the real problem is THEY LIED! Therefor, how can anyone take them seriously when they say they will do this or that in the future? You can’t!

IT IS NOT CHEATING if FV had a glitch that allowed this, I don’t care what you say. Until I came to this site I didn’t know it was against the rules because I never payed attention to the limit. I thought it was part of the game and they were giving away more coops because only one is ridiculous when most people have over a hundred chickens. I did delete my extra coops after seeing it was against the rules. I didn’t want to get in trouble. I do agree it is not fair that some were able to get them and some were not, but calling everyone a cheater is not accurate either. I’m sure there are a lot of people that do not come here or Zynga forums and think this is all part of the game. I didn’t have an extra coop and I am not hating on people that did. The coops do not even benefit the people that own them it benefits their neighbors. I don’t care if they take the extra coops away, but people should not be getting in trouble because of Farmville’s mistake. I hope the people that buy FVC will think twice in the future about giving money to a company that lies to their players. We shouldn’t be fighting with one another about this. To the people that are hating remember this, when FV does something that isn’t fair to you then don’t expect anyone to have your back. The sad thing is most of the people (not all I know) are just mad because they weren’t able to get another chicken coop. While some people did take advantage of the glitch, some people got them by mistake. Farmville blatantly stated they would not take them away and now they are. What else will they lie about? Next time if their lies affect you, I bet the haters will feel different about the whole situation. I’m not trying to make anyone mad, I just wanted to point out that if they will lie about this, what’s next? Just because it doesn’t affect you this time doesn’t mean it will not the next time. Instead of fighting amongst ourselves we should be banning together to make sure they stop with the lies.

I am so happy you are getting the extra coups, it is not much fun to go to a neighbors farm and see all of the coups, it makes it hard for the game to be fun any more. Then my cousins would call me on the phone and laugh at me and make fun of me for not getting more coups and exchanging them the way they were doing , Then with all of the glitches in the game messing up I did start to stop playing , I cried for a week , but I am sick and this is just about all I do , and I do love it , makes me feel alive. Again for getting all of those coups picked up.

today farmville deleted my 6coops…it was bug in the game which had given me multi coops…now in my gift box they have put130 chickens:’(
although gift box have capacity of 30 gifts:)

Zynga has very bad Public Relations. First of all, the people who got extra coops was because of a glitch in the system, it’s not that all of the users broke down and stole something from zynga!! For Christ sake it’s JUST A STUPID GAME! what disturbs me deeply it’s the fact that they do TOOK AWAY everything from the farmer’s account! that in fact is very invasive and invading privacy policies from the facebook users!!!
My friends and I decided to erase all the crops, take away all the chickens from the coop and boycott ZYNGA.

I think this whole un balancing the production of mystery eggs and mess up the game is all BS. If it is messing it up why are they working on expanding the coops in the future giving the production of mystery eggs a better chance. Which will be the same result at the end. It is just a way of controlling like any business person would do. If that is the case come out and say it and not try to come up with some flimsy excuse. I guess we really can’t complain if we stay playing the game which I intend to do. I have no problem losing the extra chicken coops…what I have a problem with is people who like to control and not be candid about it. I would like to thank them though for not getting rid of all the chikens and letting me decide which ones I wanted to keep.

I had 2 coops…but was by chence or bug..really…just appear when i was putting my chickens in the coop…I didnt use cheat or hack…They delete one…but is not fair say that was by cheat!!

Look! Let’s get something straight. I wouldn’t know how to hack or cheat if I tried. I’m not that savvy. But, you don’t realize that this is just a game. No one did anything that you people made available! It was you! Not us! So as a recompense I think you should financially compensate us for every coop you took away. Let’s say $100,000 farmville dollars, or 1 farmville level! We did you no harm! To me you are a child throwing a temper tantrum. We put up with all the glitches like losing our gifts when your program is out of sync or when things don’t quite work right. You owe your game players for those coops you STOLE!

This is ridiculous…
I lost my 2 additional chicken coops which I had gained while I was raising my barns due to THEIR mistake.
It’s so tiring to harvest every day 50 – 100 chickens because they insist on a policy that I really don’t understand…
How could multiple chicken coops harm FarmVille’s economy?
And if we were able to put 100 – 150 chickens inside our chicken coops there would be no need at all for most of us to have multiple chicken coops.
I am really disappointed by Zynga for this thing and I am very disappointed from myself for being one of their customers…

Hey, it’s me again…
You’re saying that it wasn’t your fault that you got your extra coops? That may be true, but you DID know that only one was allowed, and you kept the extras. Also, Zynga’s trying to tie up the loose ends, and maybe this glitch is easier to fix than the others…heck, it might result in the others disappearing.
My neighbours never used the glitch (I don’t even know if they knew it existed), so I never benefited from this glitch at all. People are trying to justify that since whatever eggs they get go to their neighbours, there’s nothing wrong with it–that may be true, but there is a ribbon known as the Egg-Celent Discovery…those with multiple coops would have an advantage with that. However, from reading these posts, it seems like that has not been happening recently.
I do not understand, however, when the chicken coops were first released, you could send them as gifts…if you got one and you already had a coop, it was changed into a chicken…that didn’t make sense in the slightest. Maybe Zynga’s getting rid of all the glitched coops to introduce the option for an expansion or the LEGAL addition of multiple coops…and no, I’m sure it would not be for Farm Cash, because additional Dairy Barns did not cost Farm Cash.
And to address how it affects the Farmville economy: the supply of eggs increases, due to there being multiple coops, putting downward pressure on the price…which results in the worthless prizes we’ve had…take note that now, there are items worth Farm Cash in the Gold Eggs. Would you rather have a ton of crappy prizes, or one or two of these new ones?
You are all complaining that the glitches should be fixed…ZYNGA’S DOING JUST THAT! The multiple chicken coops were a glitch, and it’s being fixed…at least they did not delete all your chickens with it…they were even nice enough to expand gift boxes so all the chickens could have somewhere to go. Yes, there are lost gift issues that need to be taken care of, which probably would have been better to fix first, but at least they’re working on fixing something.
That’s another two cents…

I’m disappointed because it would be good to have even just two coops for harvesting purposes because people naturally have a lot of chickens in the game. It’s like the cows, so I don’t get why they don’t just allow us access to more coops through normal game channels, like the dairy barns.
But I really do hope this helps improve the game performance because lately it has been worse than it was 4 months ago and getting worse still. Can’t tell you how many awards I was unable to post because the game froze and wouldn’t complete bringing up the pop-up to submit, or clicking on (very recent) gifts and going straight to the game with no award. But it’s the freezing of pop-ups that don’t fully display and leave you unable to use it (usually having to refresh the page to get the game moving again and consequently losing the pop-up) that are the most infuriating. Always seems to happen when an important pop-up is triggered, like Murphy’s Law. If this fix improves performance, then I can live with it – no problem. I’ll simply adjust.

I am curious as to how many of you who have posted have played actual MMO games in which you pay a monthly fee or have payed for the game (Such as Guild Wars) where there is a true economy going on. Where when there is an error on the part of the developer it generally gets fixed?
Beta is a beta – subject to change at any time without notification to the end user required. This is why you see many games on Facebook, My Space etc. labeled as Beta, because the commitment on the part of the developer is much more lax.
If you got an extra coop by the raising of the barns, it was a glitch, it was not allowed. It doesn’t mean you cheated, but it does mean you knowingly had more than the allotted amount of coops allowed.
If you went to the store and handed the clerk 10 dollars for $9 in items and the clerk gave you 20 back would you keep it? Probably some would, but you also know what they did was wrong and you keeping it is even more wrong. If you have any conscious about you you’d correct it. Just as surely if they short changed you you’d complain.
It’s a game, it’s not real life.

I did not cheat to get my extra chicken coops -they were the result of the expansion glitch. I know people who constantly bought and sold barns so they could get more coops, but I felt that was wrong. I only kept my extra coops because I needed a quick way to harvest my chickens. My extra coops NEVER produced mystery eggs….I only got 1 mystery egg per harvesting and that didn’t happen every time. However, I was so annoyed yesterday when Zynga took my 4 extra coops that I decided I was through with the whole chicken thing. I sold all of my chickens, sold my remaining coop, and will not ever hatch another mystery egg for as long as I farm. I think if enough people boycott the chickens and mystery eggs Zynga may realize that we need more coops! I wonder how badly will it upset the “farmville economy” if there are no more mystery eggs or chickens to harvest? If anyone’s interested, the facebook boycott group can be found by searching for “boycott farmville chickens”. I would post a link, but every time I try to post here with a link it never gets published!

well said valencia…so many people have posted that they did not cheat and that the extra coops appeared by a glitch. I had one extra coop and it was deleted last night. I dont have a problem with that because I knew that we were supposed to have just one but i kept the extra one.
All of us were supposed to have just ONE coop…one user posted that they didnt know that there was a limit. Just because you dont know the rules doesnt mean that you were not breaking them. Ignorance is not a defense. The rules are the rules and we should abide by them.
I have also read some posts by users that said that they had 30+ coops and that their neighbors were benefiting from the mystery eggs that they produced (this was before the one per day limit) I had several neighbors that had tons of coops but seeing as how they have many many many neighbors it alwas seems like the same people were hatching the eggs over and over again. This was plain to see because when visiting their farms they have A LOT of gold gnomes, tree swings, hot tubs etc…this is probably why the prizes in the gold eggs have been so crappy lately. Thats what they mean by the economy. I mean really how many gold gnomes do you need??? The best prizes in the gold eggs were the ones that were among the very first eggs. Now its crap. Its not special. Maybe now they will go back to developing some really nice prizes in the gold eggs.

Sure, enough people became aware of the glitch and used it to get extra coops, but considering the millions of people who play this game around the world there would naturally be (and there are) a large number of people who ended up with more than one coop purely by circumstance and not by intent.
Yet here most critics are calling everyone with extra coops “cheaters” and expressing joy that they are being “punished” by being forced to give up their ill gotten gains. Frankly I agree with others that this sentiment here is most often fueled by jealousy. People can be so small minded. The glitch was a Zynga programming issue that came into the public domain. It wasn’t a cheat or a hack – it was a glitch and there is a difference.
Zynga recognizes this. That’s why they are being so “nice” about how they are correcting the problem. They know that many people got extra coops (and some may even have them now and not be aware of it because they have never moved their original coop) inadvertently and as such they can’t bring the hammer down on these people. But there’s no way to separate how each user obtained the extras. So instead of just saying “Everyone with extra coops is a cheat” and deleting the coops and extra chickens as a violation of terms, they have given us this parachute-type of a soft landing on the change.
I think people here should really calm down about calling people cheaters over this subject. It’s not accurate, really in poor taste, and doesn’t reflect well on the one using the label.

I am not thrilled. I am pretty sure some disgruntoled idiot must have turned me in. It was no secret I had multiple coops. I went to my farm one day and could not move my coop. I then realized that my coop had only 1 white chicken, when I had MANY various colored chickens. I went to move my coop and there was still a coop there. I moved that and still another and so on. Each had one white chciken – WHERE was my coop with my gold chickens???? I kept moving coops and finnally found MY coop!!!! I didn’t ASK for this, it HAPPENED. So to all you jealous bussybodies – screw you! I am sorry but I was scared where MY coop was. I just kept them as I DID nothing wrong!!!! I filled them up after a while, and then they stole them back. IT WAS FARMVILLE MISTAKE!!!! THEY screwed up the programming somehow – NOT ME. They were cool enough to take all my chickens and put them in the gift bozx though, so I applaud that, but it was crappy that farmville made the mistake and I have things taken away. Many people have profited form glitches in the past, and I guess I should wine and complain and ask that they should have their things taken away! Oh well whatever. Thanks for at LEAST giving me my chickens back!

Just checking back in with the couple of you who are getting ready to sue Zynga. Wondering if you have found a lawyer yet who will take this slam-dunk case. Maybe the few of you can team up and turn it into a class-action suit! A judge will definitely rule in your favor. Maybe the judge will sentence Zynga to give you a free manor, or maybe even 10 fuel refills! I can just see the newspaper headlines. “Justice Prevails in Farmville Chicken Coop Scandal”. Why cheat on such a simple game. give bans too anyone who cheats. i got 1 neighbour with 8 coops and crashes my comp everytime i visit. if u cant play without cheating then dont play at all. i will happily report any cheating cos it’s takes away the fun cos it’s great when u set a goal or level to get too and everyone else is moving 3 or 4 levels up through cheating.

Well this is alot of hoopala over the chicken coops. Does it matter if it is a glich or cheating? The bottom line is we should all be able to have the luxury of multiple chicken coops. I keep selling off my chickens because it is a royal pain in the neck to collect that many eggs. For the record, I only get a mystery egg about once a week! Why shouldn’t we all be playing the same way? Also, I think some of these people use an automated system to collect prizes but not really sure. How can the post be gone in 1 sec? Alot of neighbors or not it is not fair. I see all these automated labs and other posting to get extra chicken coops, sign up for cheats and gliches. I am not interested. Call me old fashion but we should all have the same things available to us. Let these people with multiple chicken coops see what it is like for the rest of us who don’t have extra chicken coops. Let them sell off their chickens or click, click, click. Cluck,cluck cluck I say FAIR IS FAIR!

I think that your taking away the chicken coops was a lousy dirty thing to do. Just because some people were jealous of those who had extra coops you gave into them.
Well, I have lost countless gifts because of your glitches, I want compenstated for them. If you can take away you can give. Also, this idea of a “Farmville Economy” is a bunch a crap. This is a game, no different than Nintendo or a pin ball machine. This is computer generated. You program in what you want it to do and that is the end of it. So I hope that the “Farmville Economy” goes bankrupt on all the chickens that are sold back, because we have no place to put them.

Honestly… I really dont care that they are going to take my coops,I’ve NEVER gotten anything exciting from one of the mystery eggs. The thing that pisses me off is that WE (the players) have made Farmville what it is today. They have won awards, they have gotten PR and to top it off $260 million and more from people who actually buy the farmville cash when in fact EVERYTHING, I repeat EVERYTHING should be free. All the “cool” stuff is farmville cash and we have to pay for it? BS!!!! There are SO SO SO SO SO SO many issues with farmville, I am really close to deleting the game all together. I use to play every single day…. now I play like once every week… sometimes every 2 weeks because its not worth the headache of it. I just wish and hope that someone from Zynga reads how people really feel. They are making TONS of money off of people and could really care less on what we have to say…. yet, we’re the ones that made farmville what it is today…. So F it… Im just gonna deleted the application… Thanks Zynga for making a fun game pathetic…. Zynga is like any other corporation… Just in it for the money, fame and doesnt care about the fans/players. Goodbye Farmsuck….. lol

okay it was not cheating to have more than 1 coop, some users had no coops on their farm and then hatched eggs off the feed page and thats how they were obtained 4 my neighbors., probably most others. not everybody needs to cheat. the barn expansion is how others got some bc if you look in there it says coops coming soon. if u get to the maximum of expansion then u get a coop, so my daughter kept buyin the bigger barns that require fv cash, this is how my daughter obtained all of hers. if farmville takes these coops, i find it to be absolutey ridiculous. why give something to take away and for the glitch with the hatching of eggs 2 where they filled their gift box up with coops well thats fair as far as i am concerned. so to those that dont have multiple coops quit accusing every1 of cheating, if u have no idea of how they were obtained. happy farming =]

We understand that many of our players enjoy having multiple Chicken Coops, however allowing this is something that threatens the stability of FarmVille. Having multiple coops increases the chances of producing Mystery Eggs. Having too many Mystery Eggs present in the FarmVille economy can unbalance the game. To ensure the health and longevity of FarmVille, we must limit the number of Chicken Coops to one per user.
In order – or, in Zynga’s case, that’s odor
1) Threatens “the stability” how?
2) So what if multiple eggs are produced? What are they going to hurt?
3) Oh, I get it now. “Unbalance” = “Mystery Eggs produce rare items we’d rather you waste your hard-earned cash paying for like chumps”.
Bottom Line: There’s *N*O* valid reason for Zynga to limit chicken coops to one coop per farm save for greed on Zynga’s part. Not at all, and we shouldn’t stand by and let them walk all over us like this.

I have been having a problem with my mystery eggs cutting everyone off after someone clicks OK. It will give the regular ammount if you click on PLAY or HOME or HIT The Back Buttun,, but if 1 person gets the mystery egg and clicks OK instead of PLAY or HOME it cuts everyone else off and says all the mystery eggs are gone. Has anyone else noticed this problem and it isnt only the Mystery Eggs it is the collectables and the bonuses also. I have posted this problem on my profile page and asked my neighbors to kindly click HOME or PLAY but some of them either get so excited they forget or just dont care or they havent read my message.

I bought a bobcat for a friend and she’ didn’t get it for over 30 minutes so i believed it didn’t work no money was missing. i re-send it and now she[s got two and you took money out twice for two bobcat when i only wanted one. please tell me what to do next. time when it happens

How about a chicken coop unlock from time to time once a month for example as you do with the Nursery Barns ?
Come on zynga! be reasonable !
So many farmers have at least 5 Dairy Barns on their farms…….. and nothing to say of the Nursery Barns…

Not true…. the bigger the farm is the more farmers need new chicken coops….
Taking in account the reached level and the size of the farm… a farm with 26×26 need a least a second 2 chicken coop or a higher expansion until 80 or 100 ….
So Zynga, think of it …..
