When will FarmVille Puppies grow?

Wed ,21/04/2010

Last night was expected to be an eventful night on the Farm, many people fed their puppy for 14th time. Well, nothing happened. After much excitement, farmers have expressed frustration that their pups did not grow. Channel Zero (Official FarmVille Forum Moderator) said this in response to the complaints:

Once again, as I stated in the announcement from this morning, once the timer finishes counting down to the point where your puppy would run away, the counter should start to count up instead of down. Also, the puppy’s timer should show as the ‘Hungry In’ instead of the ‘Feed’ timer.

To repeat, your puppy should not run away, nor will you need to feed it any additional kibble to keep it on your farm. If for any reason at all, your puppy does run away after its 14th feeding, I ask that you PM with details including when you first purchased your puppy, what date you fed it for the 14th time, as well as when the puppy ran away.

We’ll keep you updated on when puppies should be ready to grow up, but for now we ask that you please remain patience, and to reiterate, once you have fed your puppy for the 14th time, you’ll no longer need to purchase kibble or feed it kibble regularly.

So, it would seem our beloved FarmVille Puppies will not be growing tonight. Channel Zero’s  slightly vague post stated that we will be updated “on when puppies should be ready to grow up”.

Many FarmVille players expected a full grown up Dog after 14 Kibble feedings, but there was no ‘transformation’.When do you think we will have full grown FarmVille Dogs?

FarmVille Dog: Coming Today?

Thu ,04/03/2010

We know that the FarmVille Dog will be coming soon, but will it debut today?

Zynga has hinted via a FarmVille Podcast that the Dog will be an interactive pet and include customizable features such as the ability to name your dog. A lot of farmers are wondering exactly how much we can expect to pay for the Dog? Many people suspect the Dog will cost farm cash.

Even though there has been an overwhelming response by farmers requesting a dog, Zynga has held out releasing the FarmVille Dog. It has been the most anticipated item in FarmVille thus far, so it is not too surprising they have made us wait this long. With long waits and a build-up like this, we hope it will not disappoint! However, as FarmVille Freak Terrible Ted’s altered FarmVille teaser image below depicts,  with all FarmVille releases there are sure to be complaints.

FarmVille Freak Terrible Ted's Whineville About Dog

The teaser picture from the FarmVille loading screen shows the dog in the same colors as the Dog we’ve seen on the FarmVille Official Forum’s Banner and FarmVille Twitter page. Hopefully we will have customizable options to pick color choices and features as well.

Wouldn’t it be great if the Zynga gods considered making a range of Dog breeds available in FarmVille? Many dog lovers would love the option to choose their favorite breed of Dog!

“Coming Soon”

FarmVille Dog Coming Soon...

Do you think we can finally expect to meet the FarmVille Dog this week?!

FarmVille Dog is on the way soon!

Mon ,22/02/2010

In a recent FarmVille podcast, Zynga commented that the much anticipated FarmVille Dog would be “coming soon”.  Seasoned farmers know that “coming soon” can mean weeks or months in FarmVille terms. However, in the latest FarmVille podcast, they dropped a few more det tails about Dogs and said specifically that Puppies would be coming in a matter of weeks  and that it would be a special interactive animal in which you will be able to pick out, name and train as it grows.

So here’s more good news for all the  FarmVille Freak dog lovers.

There is actually a placeholder icon for the FarmVille Dog in the Zynga game. No picture yet except for the one that appears above the forum.

Possible FarmVille Dog

Will it be the same dog we’ve seen sneak peeks at in the Official FarmVille Forum banner? Or can we expect a better and new dog? I hope that Zynga will eventuallly consider adding different breeds of dogs! The possiblities could be endless.

Finally, here is a sneak peek at a possible home for your future puppy!
