Earlier today we told you about an upcoming promotion between Zynga and American Express’ Serve program for FarmVille players and are happy to let you know that it’s now available. The latest part of the promotion has gone live and you can start by planting your Serve Money Tree and then signing up for your Zynga Serve Reward card! (Please note, this promotion may not be available to all players due to regional restrictions.) 

In a nutshell the promotion can be summed as follows:

• 1. Place Serve Money Tree on FarmVille farm.
• 2. Harvest Serve Money Tree for free Farm Cash rewards.
• 3. Earn Farm Cash with Serve reward card when you sign up for a prepaid card.
• 4. Grow your virtual farm when you use your Serve card.

Placing Your Serve Money Tree

First of all, you will be greeted with a pop-up from Serve American Express inviting you to place the Serve Money Tree on your FarmVille farm. Once you place the tree on your farm, you will also see that it is already ready to harvest. You can harvest it immediately for 1 free Farm Cash. Nice! So, Farm Cash does grow on trees! You can harvest the Serve Money Tree up to seven times to earn a total of 7 Farm Cash (without actually signing up for the reward card).  To earn more rewards you will need to register for a Serve card. Note that as your harvest your Serve Money Tree for more Farm Cash rewards, it will eventually change colors.

To earn even more Farm Cash rewards, you will need to register for a Zynga Serve card. The Serve card is a reloadable prepaid card that will earn you FarmVille Farm Cash rewards for your purchases. It can be used anywhere that American Express is accepted. After registering, you will get to choose one of two designs for your actual card.

In a new in-game FarmVille promotion Serve is offering farmers free Farm Cash! You can earn a total of 134 free Farm Cash!!! First, you can earn 4 free Farm Cash just for watching the Serve video. After refreshing your farm you will have the opportunity to earn more free Farm Cash, that’s 130 free Farm Cash, for registering a Serve account.

Serve from American Express is another way to send and receive money. Anyone can register for a free account and you are not required to give bank account information. Some things you will need to provide include: name, email, mailing address, and phone number. You will need to provide a valid email address so that you can verify the email address and get your free Farm Cash.

FarmVille Freaks are reporting that you automatically receive the free Farm Cash even though the promotion states it may take up to 7 days.  It sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? We’ve tested this Farm Cash offer for ourselves and it does work for most people. However, you may be subject to further verification of the information that you provided when registering, such as providing documentation of your mailing address. If you complete this offer and don’t receive your Farm Cash, be sure to check your email for any additional messages from Serve which may explain why (regarding further validation etc.).

Also note, there are some weird things going on with the displayed amounts of free Farm Cash. For example, the image below shows that the offer is only worth 35 Farm Cash. However, after completing the registration, the full 130 Farm Cash were loaded to the FarmVille account.
