Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 2:08 am
This is becoming more of a town than a farm with all these builing releases and i think that have become way too many(releases)-( police station, grocery store, restaurant, library and others) …this would not matter THAT much if they could just let us get some more space…and when i say more i say MUCH MORE…i personally haven’t left any spare space at the moment, so i will not be able to buy any of the building releases..This is extremely annoying. DO SOMETHING ZYNGA!!!!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 2:24 am
Uhm I want a firestation no policestation!!!

Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 2:53 am
the police station looks fake, it looks really fake , its sort of slanted and it should be a “H” on the roof not a “P”, more space needed but no pointed complaining to zynga through farmville freak you have to go to the main zynga page
farmville freak is not the makers of farmville just the best no 1 fan page

ROFL @ Jop
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 3:11 am
Introducing new items is most probably easier and does not drain the kind of resources needed to give bigger farms (=more loading problems). Since they cannot go for the latter for whatever technical issues, would you rather, they don’t introduce anything new at all!?? That would make the game boring and get a lot of people to leave altogether.
So please stop complaining about new things being introduced. If you do not like them, do not purchase them. If you love them, find something on your farm you like less and get rid of it. Why do you have to get every darn thing that comes out any way?? Learn to choose and apply some self control and you will be able to live with a 24×24 farm as well.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 3:32 am
I agree with Em. Don’t buy what you don’t need and you don’t need to buy everything.
…must…have…treeee…..
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 3:45 am
Em – because people are pack rats! :p Why do you make such sense though, don’t you know that these comment sections are only meant for whining about every single update that farmville gives?
Jop – you’re funny. Nice to see some humor around here.
The coffee cart is adorable.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 3:52 am
@ em, I think it’s pretty reasonable for people to complain when they keep on adding new things even though there’s loading issues. Why add things to something that can’t even get accessed?
Also, some people like to buy things. Why would you buy farm cash with real money if you weren’t going to spend it???? Zynga simply needs to add a bigger expansion.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:06 am
I like to collect as many different items as possible. That’s why there must be a free unlimited storage system.
I can’t wait for the Oak Tree.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:11 am
WHAT A POLICE STATION HAS TO DO WITH A FARM ?????
THIS GAME HAS OFFICIALY LOST IT’S WAY …………..
it should have being a farm but now it’s just a space you use for all kinds of everything…
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:25 am
When the banyon tree came out “A Giant oak” I said, “would be a wonderful addition to the farm.” And here it is. I hope it truly comes out.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:57 am
I just dont see what all these buildings has to do with a FARM?!?
but that being said… I *love* the coffee cart
Maybe they should just swap names to VillageVille?! Ha ha,…
I want the oak too…
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 6:13 am
Who cares if it doesnt have to do with a farm?! It’s fun to decorate your farm and be creative… not those farms covered entirely of plots; they are so boring.
Agreed with Em [post#16]
Hope the mustard crop will come out and have mastery =)
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 6:18 am
I am not inspired by the ‘non farm’ type buildings and decorations. Why would there be a shool, library or police station on a farm? Maybe zynga is trying to create an Amish community with all the stuff they’ve brought out.
Personally, I would like to keep my farm more farm orientated.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 6:41 am
i hope the mustard crop can be mastered *_*
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 6:47 am
ooooh i am so buying a bunch of oak trees, i dont care what they cost!
sandwich cart is cute too!! and i agree, no donut shop for the cops? lol

Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 7:58 am
goodbye farmville, hate the loading problems, waste of time. so frustrating……..
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:03 am
How much we wanna bet that it’s all for FV$?
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:05 am
so I have a question…if all this stuff is unreleased, where are people finding it to tell us about it?
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:14 am
Oh I want that police department! Love it!
The giant oak is wonderful, too. They need to release those!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:19 am
Come one! I love it that there are so many building to build a farm ” ville” a farm town. that’s the meaning of the name. not just ” farm ” crops” : D i like farmville because you can create your own little town.
It’s like age of empire but then with crops ( hehe ) So I like the idea of many many town building. but i just have like everyone a ‘’space” problem. I only have 200 crops…and all the rest of my farm is a town. ( but you can’t have everything) ( like a giant crops land and a beautiful town… so most of the farmers but every buidling at the edge, zo they can have a lot of money) aaaahh pHU!. i just like my farm ”ville” ah btw… i have problems with my farmvile.com ” game feeds”……so f farmville would be so kind to fix those stuffs. : D hey cheer up! it’s a game
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:24 am
does anyone know when the farmers market being released?
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:35 am
The oak tree looks awesome.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 8:46 am
I hope the Giant Oak will be bigger than that tree in Avatar ^^
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 9:50 am
Why don’t the people that complain about too many releases just buy another barn for coins and keep expanding the barns until they hold 100 items. Then they can switch things around and change the look of their farm at will.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:02 am
It’s when you have nearly all the 100 storage slots filled AND nearly all 50 giftbox slots filled you can opine for more storage. I’m at 24×24 and have 556 plots of farmable land. I just wish EVERYTHING could be rotated. Some vehicles and decorations would fit on my farm if I could turn them.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:07 am
the giant oak tree fits well with the French Quarter theme. YAY! Reminds me of home!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:17 am
Actually I personally feel like its not the space but the never ending greed owing to the fact that we want to buy each and everything and never want to get rid of it.
So kindly sell some of the useless or old fashion stuff in order to keep your farm updated. It will help you having some space all the times.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:27 am
the oak tree looks cool
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:28 am
Although I get pretty exited with all these new releases, I’m getting really frustrated with the fact that I have no more room in my farm to display them. I would gladly give up a few weeks of new item releases for a couple more farm expantions. I really, really need more space.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:41 am
c’mon , SOOO many new stuff , but no room for it … -.-’
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 10:44 am
I love the coffee cart!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 11:16 am
love the tree, i can now live without the buildings. i used to collect everything. it seems pointless now. i’m thinking of getting rid of everything and just keeping the farmhouse…make it like it was last summer when the game first started. you know, an actual farm
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 11:44 am
Farmville should really sta as being a farm, i mean come on a police station on a farm ?
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:01 pm
#36 – Khan, I agree with you completely. I think people just should look at it like they were re-decorating their house. If you spend the money to redecorate then you get rid of the old things, right? You wouldn’t buy all new living room furniture and leave the old there. And, you wouldn’t put the old in storage… so sell people…sell!!
As to how people can see the unreleased things… anyone that is computer savvy can look at Farmville’s server and see all the info. that is there before it is released.
So, one more time… get rid of stuff by selling it. There are so many ways to rationalize selling things even if you paid real money for it. It is all entertainment… like going to the movies costs money but when you leave the movie theater you don’t get your money back, you don’t even think of that, so apply that same theory to the entertainment money you spend here… when it’s time for new stuff then get rid of the old!!!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:36 pm
ummmm… yeah they should totally change the title of the game from “farmville” to “farmmetropolis” since they are coming out with all of these crazy buildings…. i think they are just taking advantage of people who like to buy buildings.. and funky animals… seriously, they need to start coming up with 1. more storage 2. more coin items 3. different coin animals 4. more space
get w/ it farmville people… we want more coin items and less cash items
and enough w/ the silly buildings that wouldnt be found on a farm….
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:50 pm
I love the oak tree, I have a forest on my farm and that will be a prefect addition.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:50 pm
*perfect
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:53 pm
I am a packrat. Always have been, and always will. I had a major storage problem. 100/100 filled, and behind my villa, stable, and barn, i had items hidden. I thought it was clever, but I realized i needed to stop. I have a hard time just fulll out deleting old LE items, but I had been keeping alot of duplicates. Most of the stuff was from christmas, and i deleted almost all the duplicates. Now, all my storage is in my trees, and not too much is in my storage.
About the expanding of farms, I do not want an expansion for items, but for land. I have WAY too many animals, and am just not satisfied with the land i have. I am wondering if it is more cost effective to have the animals or the land. But I think its time for an expansion.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 12:53 pm
i love the coffee cart and sandwich cart, i hope they become prizes for more co-op jobs.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 1:31 pm
If these will be rewards for new Co-Op jobs I hope the crops involved will be among 14 crops that I haven’t already mastered yet
Of the nine current jobs available I have only NOT mastered Cranberries (and who can use more than one busplow?)
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
The name Farmville implies a village with a farm on it so all the buildings do have a place in a farm village. There are many ways to play this game and many different types of farms and farmvillages to have so it’s silly to say what does this have to do w/a farm?
Everything that is released is not meant to be on everyone’s farm. If it doesn’t fin in your farm then it was meant for someone else farm.
Think about it people. Even if there is an expansion it will soon not be enough so you packrats have got to compromise and get rid of stuff. All Christmas stuff should be gone by now because they will have cooler and better stuff next x-mas. They can’t just keep expanding and they won’t no matter how much you complain about it so you have to do something to make things fit yourself.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 4:14 pm
that tree is effing huge!!! its awesome tho! goes great with my elevated pagoda makes it look raised up really high, i got 3 of them!
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:12 pm
First of all I understand the frustration of lack of storage space/land. Ultimately I think the best think farmville could do to make these complaints go away is implement a better storage system. If you just look to Cafe World, another Zynga product, you can see where they have a system in place that allows much more storage. It’s just not practical to store, for instance, a hundred sections of provincial fence right now, and since it’s a limited edition item no longer buyable the choices if I want to try a different look are pretty limited. I could lose the fencing forever, keep it forever, or completely fill up my storage to the exclusion of everything else. I think that’s definitely something Zynga needs to address as the game expands.
As far as expansion and game loading goes… I think everyone would love another expansion or two. If you’re posting here or reading here then you most likely are kinda addicted. But the truth is the larger the farms and the more people try to pack on to their farms the more unusable the game is. I have a few 70+ neighbors who I have never been able to load the farm of simply because it takes too long or flash crashes because they insist on putting putting down 4000+ items on their farm. That’s stretching the limits of the flash engine no matter how much ram or computing power you have. There isn’t a lot that zynga can do about it, but what’s worse is I imagine a lot of the ‘connection problems’ people face have to do with their unmanageable farms. I occasionally have problems connecting with farmville because of either a facebook problem or heavy load after they just release something, but usually I have no trouble at all. It is certainly not to the level of unplayable… I would say once every other week I might have a problem. Most of the time that problem can be resolved by loading directly from farmville.com. My point is Zynga doesn’t have a lot of incentive to expand farms since it won’t bring them additional revenue and will only increase the amount of items people try to fit on their farms.
As far as the constant stream of items for FV bucks, sure it’s frustrating when something’s way out of reach, but FV bucks keep the servers and the developers working on a game that we all enjoy. Personally I think if they made them a little less expensive more people (including me) might be inclined to spend money on them (I just can’t justify spending 10 dollars on a new house… that’s a little high when you consider the amount of content I would expect for 10 dollars from a real game like Mass Effect 2), but their business model seems to be working for them and the heart of the game remains free.
I guess my point is, do you really expect Zynga to spend resources on free expansions of your farm which will take up more resources on their servers which will then encourage the packrats to stretch the limits of reason by adding another couple thousand items to their farm so they can then go onto Zynga forums and complain that their farm won’t load anymore and that flash crashes?
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 5:45 pm
@Suzie So, so true.
Love the analogy about purchasing for your home
I have seen people hoarding 9 – 10 shamrock castles. Now why the heck does anyone need 10 of those?? And if you do, then you really should not complain about space when you are the one going overboard with the hoarding.
@Mysteriess The thing is that if you look at real life where everyone is spending real money, you do not go to the store and buy every single thing in a store. You pick and choose. And like someone mentioned up there … stuff that can fit in your house. Just because you traded real money for virtual one does not mean you have to buy everything.
Not to mention you do not complain why Walmart is so full of all this stuff and how they expect you to fit it all in your house or why Sephora has so much make up stuff that you need two dressers and 10 cupboards to fit it all. Variety is there to serve all types of people so there is something for everyone and not everything for one person.
The virtual world is the same. Think of it as a huge Walmart/any famous store in your area where you should not be buying every brand of vaccuum cleaner just because they all look cute.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 7:19 pm
@ Em
You didn’t explain the point of having items when people can’t even access them. It gets unfair when new things come out that people want but then they can’t even access it. ccccccccc
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 7:42 pm
I like the mustard crop – I hope this means that FV is thinking of expanding out into herbs and spices. That would be awesome – I want a little herb garden to go with my kitchen garden, orchards, and fields. Yes, mine is a real old-fashioned farm.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 9:14 pm
I want them all. And a donut shop wouldn’t be so bad. Maybe a fire station comes out next.
Posted on April 24th, 2010 at 9:39 pm
Mystery Person – it is unfortunate that some people have had trouble getting on their farms but it really doesn’t have anything to do with releasing new items. Zynga has teams that specialize in certain areas and they work separately. The team that comes up with new releases can’t work on technical issues so if they stopped working on new items, it wouldn’t help the loading problems, they are two different teams.
I’ve been lucky so far and have only had to refresh 8 – 10 times to get on my farm but… if the space and storage were expanded, it would slow the game way down and cause even more loading issues. I guess we just can’t have our cake and eat it too.
When I first found this site and started reading, it didn’t matter what the topic was.. all I saw was..”where’s my effin DOG?? All I want (to be happy?) is my effin DOG!!. Now that the dogs are here and every aspect of them has been bitched about, all I’m reading is “when are we going to get more space and storage?” I think it’s going to always be something and I’m starting to think that many people just aren’t happy unless they’re bitchin’ about something. Drama can be addicting they say.
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 12:12 am
i don’t like the police station or the carts. but i do like the tree alot. look forward to this one
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 2:58 am
@Mystery Person Number 58 and 63 explain the point pretty well.
The reason for the loading issues is way too many items and bigger farms. There are some farms that I just refuse to visit because their loading time is way beyond anything because of the stuff they have on their farms.
And that is the whole point … the variety should be there … it is not having a 1000 things available to purchase that is the issue. It is everyone wanting those 1000 things on their farms and a lot of people actually having them on their farms that is the issue.
Limited resources means you have to make choices and sell old stuff to get new stuff.
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 3:09 am
Hi There , I Think They Should Bring Out More Farm Things Like An Open Shed With Round Hay Bales In It + Less Of The Village Type Of Things Yet I Love Them But I Want My Farm To Be More Of A Farm + Less Of A Village. I Think It Would Be Pretty Awesome If We Could Change Our Persons Clothes To Like Red + White Chequed Top With Dungarees + Two Plaites In The Girls Hair Like On A Real Tenesse Farm !!
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 6:04 am
Am I the only person who thinks the mustard crop looks just like the weeds we find when visiting other farms?
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 11:34 am
will get the oak tree but wont buy anymore buildings until they expand the farm
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Love the Oak Tree
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 7:58 pm
Love the Oak Tree, too! Love the Mustard crop…(yes…it does look a little like the weeds we “clean up”..LOL) Just hope it’s not a “limited” crop, but, a permanent one. We really could use more permanent crops (still haven’t forgotten forget-me-knots and would love to see them and lotus as permanent crops). I started playing the game back when it was simple and fun and entertaining. Now, it’s getting stressful, work, and, frustrating. On too many different levels to even mention. FarmVille—I liked it better when the emphasis was on Farm and not Ville (village). And, although it is an international phenomena, liked it much much better when the games focus was on Farming in the good ole USA. Farming is worldwide—so, ok….introduce Farming from other countries. That’s cool. Not crazy at all about the introduction of so many buildings, and, the coming soon “factories”…it’s not FactoryVille that I’ve playing. Here’s hoping that we see more items like Oak Trees and Herbs coming soon–as permanent crops/trees.
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 8:36 pm
@Trish that aspect of the game is still there. Just farm if that is what you want to do. Why does it matter what new things they come up with as long as the basic stuff you loved originally is still there? Just ignore the new stuff.
Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 10:38 pm
I’m still waiting on the unreleased Black Stallion any word when that will ever happen?
Posted on May 10th, 2010 at 8:03 am

You can get the coffee cart by getting an Iced Coffee from 7-11 with a code for buyearnplay.com – there are other things to get by buying other stuff from 7-11. Get em fast – this wont be around for long.
